Today’s antiwar movement wants for 60s marketing flair. This example comes by way of embittered sixties chronicler Todd Gitlin, the student for a Democratic Society eclipsed by the Radical Youth Movement and future Weather Underground leader Bernardine Dohrn, later the FBI’s “most dangerous woman in America.” Gitlin complains that Dorn titillated followers by proclaiming herself a “Communist with a small c.”
