If Okinawa can oust half its US soldiers Colorado Springs can do it too

The regimes of Japan and the United States have finally reached an agreement to move 9,000 marines from Okinawa, leaving 10,000 US military personnel, still unwelcome, on Japan’s southern isle. With troop reductions expected stateside, wouldn’t now be the ideal time to submit bids to be recipients of those cuts, in the same manner that exploitative local business clubs lobby for base expansions?

  1. But Eric, if you eliminate military jobs and people who actually pay taxes, you will be forced to move out of your mother’s basement, actually get a job and pay taxes for the services you leech from the government.

Not smart to kill the goose who lays the golden eggs you so enjoy in your omelets!

  2. Yeah Pubes, that putdown is the internet version of “get a job!” Rarely applicable.

  3. ‘Publius’ actually associates the military with ‘people who actually pay taxes’ as he puts it! What an idiot this guy is, Eric!

In actuality the US military is part of a giant coporate run welfare complex that eats up our tax monies. The Right Wingers always whine and complain about how taxes SOMETIMES go to programs that actually help out the poor and needy, but never ever complain about how their paid taxes most usually go to support more war and Pentagon meathead welfare complex types… LIKE THEMSELVES.

You are a dumb shitty ASSHOLE, ‘Publius’.
