To mandate health insurance premiums is to privatize tax collection & spending
Compulsory insurance premiums represent the privatization of taxes. Talk about taxation without representation. How would a personal expense mandated by the government be any different than a tax? The burden is contributed toward the common good, but administrated privately. While oversight might fall to civil service regulators, nowhere is an elected official part of the loop. They’re privatizing the public sector: the military, the utilities, the media, the schools, the Postal Service, and of course they’re after Social Security. Taxpayers pay for the social safety net. Making them pay health insurance premiums is to privatize their taxes.

Will Tea Party play “Perpetual Victims of Tyranny” again?
Since a member of the House of Representatives made a very simple and direct chart outlining the Republican “plan” (charitably so-called, because they don’t have one) which is: Don’t get sick, or if you do get get sick, Die Quickly.

US Senate represents Insurance, Israel
Are you represented by a US senator? I doubt it. Today the Senate Finance Committee rejected Public Option amendments to the health care reform legislation; continued to vilify ACORN based on fraudulent accusations hyped the MSM; and thirty two senators signed a letter drafted by AIPAC, to urge Secretary of State Clinton to block further investigation of Israel for its crimes in Gaza based on the findings of the Goldstone Report.
Abolish the Senate! Does America have any use for a House of Lords?

Why hippies call them pigs
Here are a few troubling images of the G-20 protests in Pittsburgh, where police brutality insulated the globalist ministers from the anti-capitalist demonstrations.
Look at this smile. Next time they’re eulogizing a policeman killed on the job, or the city proposes changing a street name to commemorate a fallen officer, think about this image. A Pittsburgh cop does not conceal a fiendish grin as he throws tear gas canisters at the G-20 protesters.

Don’t you just have the cutest puppy? Oh yes you do, oh yes you do
When it comes to pets, the grass is always cuter on your own side of the fence. But if you think others might share your myopic affections, All American Pet Brands want to hear from you. Do you imagine the sponsor of the Cutest Dog Competition, maker of Grrrnola, Bowwowbreakfast, Fido Flakes, Chompions, and Chewabunga, is offering iPod Nanos, $500 each week, and a grand prize of one million dollars just to get your dog’s picture, name and address? Almost just.

Yes we can, host the 2016 Olympics
President Obama came into office with quite a checklist:
Stop war-making,
Close Guantanamo,
End renditions/torture,
Rescind the Patriot Act,
Restore the rule of law,
Address global warming,
Reform US health care,
Re-regulate bankers,
Talk to Iran, and doubtless many other items, including
Secure the 2016 Olympics for Chicago.
Are his handlers staking the measure of his success on the last one?

David Barsamian and a Vet For Peace
Activist scholar David Barsamian visited Colorado Springs yesterday to speak on Afghanistan and raise money for the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission. Barsamian was his usual gracious and erudite self but the PPJPC can’t even embarrass themselves. At one point in his presentation, Barsamian talked of encountering a Vets For Peace participant, who’d been an active PPJPC member. “You remember Brian?” He asked the group, as if relating a greeting from an old friend. Blank stares all around. Barsamian scanned the room until his eyes reached Tony and I, demonstrably nodding our heads. “Of course you do” chided Barsamian, as he moved on. What a pathetic lot.

Vlad Dracula was a White European Christian.
So were most of the people he murdered. Just, you know, sayin’ is all. Same way with the Crusades and the Reformation. I know that wouldn’t get me invited to speak at any church in Colorado Springs.
Neither would anything Jesus actually said, so I’m in good company.

Support Anti-American Domestic Terrorism – Buy a teastained Flag!
From Fake Warrior ChickenHawk Norris! Yes, for about $80 bucks you can buy a Made in China WalMart Flag with tea spilled on it.
This from a Martial Arts Professional Athlete who got out of the Draft on a Rich Kid Technicality, just like Bush, Cheney, Rove, Bill O’Reilly, the entire cast and crew of the FORMER Terror Regime… then proceeded to make a Propaganda Movie Career supporting War and glorifying the VietNam War in particular. Just like John Wayne did.
Make money off Human Suffering and Shed Human Blood. Just, you know, as long as it’s not THEIR suffering or THEIR blood.
Now he’s making money promoting Murdering Americans for your fun and HIS fun and Profit.
That and his party lost and there’s now a Black president.

Beck, Rush, Malkin, Y’all proud now?
The Right Wing Extremist Tea Party terrorists have lynched an AMERICAN in Clay County Kentucky, showing their Koward Konservative Klan ties proudly, doing the sick bidding of the Hate Mongers at Fox and Clear Channel and KVOR. Anti American Terrorism. At the other end of the Thunder Road from Knoxville where another Anti-American TERRORIST inspired by their right wing Bullshit tried to shoot up a Unitarian church.

Big Week
Today is the International Day of Peace, or as it has become known outside our borders, Anti-American Day. By coincidence, the Pentagon announced today the US must increase its troop levels in Afghanistan or peace will win. On Wednesday pro-Israeli-expansion zealots are rallying in major US cities, Denver among them, to protest the Iranian president being allowed to attend the UN. (Potential dialog with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could interfere with US and Israeli plans to promote military strikes against Iran.) Also on Wednesday, UFCW Local 7 will vote on whether to strike against Safeway and King Soopers. On Thursday, demonstrators in Pittsburgh will attempt to halt the G-20 globalists. Over the weekend, we will target media outlets who are misrepresenting the health care reform debate.

Iraq slipper thrower killed outright
Poor Ahmed Latif, killed in Fallujah this week for throwing his slipper at a US patrol. News reports are calling Latif a copycat of Muntadhar al-Zaidi, on the occasion of the Iraqi shoe thrower’s release from custody. Reporters are also suggesting Latif was “mentally disturbed,” instead of simply profoundly disturbed, by a development that might disturb you too.

Is NPR blocking health care reform?
If the corporation from which you get your news is NOT TELLING YOU that the US could give its citizens Universal Health Care for less than the cost of today’s system, and could do so tomorrow by expanding Medicare offering free medical care to all like every other developed nation, then they are lying to you. How can you expect any reform if the status quo defends itself with the complicity of the corporate media. That includes the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, all the more duplicitous for pretending to serve the “public.” The CPB’s underwriters are big oil, big agra, big pharma, the banks and the insurance villains. Listen closely and you can still hear NPR News pronounce the question mark after “Global Warming.”

Ahmadinejad denial downgraded to jibe
Before Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Al-Quds remarks could be translated, Zionist mouthpieces were fomenting outrage about a new “Holocaust Denial.” By the time DC, London, Paris and Berlin were pushed to repudiate the Iranian president’s statement, and real transcripts hit the stands, newspapers have had to downgrade it as a Holocaust Jibe. Ahmadinejab didn’t deny the Holocaust, he denied the “Holocaust Myth.” The part justifying the state of Israel. Official narratives promoted by Holocaust Museums prominently feature the conclusion that Jews can only escape extermination by occupying to the Middle East.

Najibullah Zazi sets bad example
Terrorism person of interest Najibullah Zazi has a lesson to teach fellow Coloradans. Don’t talk to the FBI. Zazi has declined a fourth consecutive day of interviews with FBI investigators. Now the Denver resident is being arrested, not to face charges of terrorism, but accusations of lying to investigators. If Zazi had referred the federal agents to the Bill of Rights, they and the media would have nothing with which to defame him.

Greg Mortenson US occupation pitchman
Greg Mortenson, stealth poster boy for the GWOT Pax Americana, nominated for the same Nobel suggested for Henry Kissinger, will be in Denver this Sunday at Red Rocks, to emcee JOURNEY OF HOPE, to collect “Pennies For Peace” to build Western Education settlements to justify more US military advance camps, and to lead a “Prayer For Peace.” Wanna bet it’s not an Islamic prayer?

Speaking of Halls…
Remember this? The whackadoodledoo Corporate Sucks who laughed so hard about this, protesting that it was only “harmless and funny” for Wally World to force their Company Slaves to work even while sick with symptoms of FLU… you remember the flu, right? Deadly, very contagious.yeah… THAT flu. But apparently there’s no release of any kind of policy statement from WalMart that says the Manager Drones can’t fire or dock the wages of the Regular Associate Drones for refusing to handle the food of the general public while contagious.

Plucky ACORN staff show compassion for demonstrably stupid crackers

Congress has sadly overreacted to the Fox News video sting operation to discredit ACORN. Over the summer, most of the community activism offices did run the Giles/O’Keefe whore/pimp act straight out the door, but invariably some staff member was going to take pity on the inadvisably-dressed, street-smart-deficient pair.

Don’t buy Israeli Apartheid
Interesting counterpoint in Ha’aretz this morning about the Goldstone Report on the recent war crimes committed in Gaza, where the UN commission found grounds to investigate both Hamas and Israel for violations.
Hamas rejects the charges based on population’s right to resist illegal occupation. The Israeli administration was indignant with a more complicated rationale. In the face of having inflicted 100 times more casualties, most of them civilian, Amira Hass wrote about The one thing worse than denying the Gaza report, which is to justify the crimes. Ari Shavit took a further tack, arguing that the UN must hold Obama to same standard as Israel. My favorite analysis of the moral predicament Israel finds itself rationalizing, is by Jihad el-Khazen.
