Freedom & duress NOT the same thing
A gentleman wrote earlier that Ireland signed a paper partitioning the Nation, and likewise, Scotland and Ireland had signed papers joining their people to the United Kingdom. And that therefore Scots and Irish Separatists are breaking a treaty and how very dare they do so, it’s dishonorable etc.
He was too busy reviling me personally to revile them but that is the gist of his words.

Choice of NPR vs. FOX is like Obama vs. Bush, difference is only skin deep.
Petition mongers are hoping you’ll help pressure the White House Correspondents’ Association to assign the front row briefing room seat recently purged of Helen Thomas to the public-serving NPR instead of the right-wing FOX. I favor whoever will unmask the corporate choke hold on the media and government, not who’ll perpetuate the facade that policy is guided by public discourse.

Peter King (R-NY) = Painful rectal itch
Rabidly Anti-Freedom. Freedom of speech unless you say anything against his Pet War. Freedom of Religion unless you’re Muslim of any sect, Jewish of any sect that doesn’t rabidly scream for the death penalty against all Muslims everywhere, Christian and not supportive of the D.P.A.A.M.E., Property Rights unless you’re Muslim and are building a community center near the “hallowed ground” Freedom to support any political party except for a long list he carries in his pockets including Democrats, Anarchists, Greens, Republican Caucuses that are too “liberal” for him… And any candidate he identifies as a Muslim or “soft on Islam”.

Heard something GLORIOUS yesterday
A kid on a cell phone, couldn’t have been more than 7 but not real young either, keeps saying “huh? What’s THAT?” then asks her mom “Mommy, whats a ‘nigger’”? I thought I would not live long enough to ever hear such a thing. An American child, race indeterminable, who knows, she was darker skinned even than me, asking her mom to define that Hateful Word. I had rehearsed before for what I would say if anybody ever asked me that, not much expecting it, “well, child, it’s a stupid word made up to make other people feel bad”. I didn’t have to say it to her. Raising a child is the momma’s duty, and bless my soul that child was Raised Properly. 7 years old and hadn’t had that Hateful Ignorant Word stamped onto her vocabulary. This is a thing of Historic Beauty, a turning point maybe. I hope it isn’t too late.

Following Right Wing political theology
Faith based politics where you have to believe fervently the dogma handed down by the High Priests of Capital… But according to their gospels of greed, there has never actually been any revolution where wealth has been redistributed to the poor from the wealthy. In other words, the wealth has been transferred from one group of heavily armed rich thieves to another. Lateral instead of Vertical economic mobility. Thus, no real Socialist state or more importantly, Socialist Economy has ever existed, at least according to the Ayn Rand Theology. Yet somehow, it’s the Communists and Socialists, the ones who never had their hands on the missing bread in the first place, who crashed the economy repeatedly over the past 500 years of straight-on Capitalism. For instance the Mortgage Crisis that immediately preceded the crash of the War-expense Bloated Debt Economy.

Ancient Aliens and the Crusades/Holy English Empire
While there’s evidence for and against extraterrestrial visitations, there really isn’t PROOF. The Hysteria Channel show Ancient Alien came off with a whole slew of speculation mostly involving things that are a massive Rorschach Inkblot. If you’re expecting to see a spider you’ll see a spider, if you’re expecting to see a penis or Richard Nixons famous schnozzola that’s what you’ll see. The team sees a site in what’s now Pakistan that was hit with something that had a lot of heat, hard radiation and explosive force. The crater was like 50 yards across. Way too small for an atomic bomb even. But the radiation levels, the way the nearby rocks were turned to glass and the people who were lying in the streets dead, their skeletons are intact after more than 4000 years. If you go into the investigation saying “U.F.O.” that’s what you’re going to see. If you went into a similar expecting angelic manifestations, you’ll see the footprints of angels. Perception or deception. Or both. Enter the Crusaders.

The Tennessee Church Shooting, two years later
By the way, the Church Shooting in Tennessee took place two years ago today. Happy anniversary. The Church Shooter took aim at the CHILDREN of the church, stoned on the delusions of Grandeur and “god-like superiority” spoon-fed to him by such wonderful “christian” souls as Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Ollie North and George W.

They shoot up churches, bomb mosques, and soon this…
Not the bombing of “Radical” Synagogues who oppose the non-genocide-but-enforced-enslavement-of-Arabs, through the use of many many instances of Murder, no, the IDF will take care of THAT part…

Meanwhile, at the D.C. Pig-Ranch….
The Pentagoons, meanwhile back in DC, are expecting another 37 BILLION dollars to fall into their pockets. Telling the Senate House, it got kicked back to the House after modifications by the Senate, that not giving them more of their Purina PIG Chow would be treason and the betrayal of “the Troops” about whom the Pentagon and other warmongers care Not One Damned Bit in the first, second, third and all the way to the Last place.
The Senate House vote is expected by this afternoon, and it’s already almost noon in Washing Tundy Sea. Will the Senate do the patriotic thing, for the first time in like, forever?
Or will they do what the War Industry Lobbyists pay them to do and fork over more bread?
My prediction is that the Manufacturers of guns, bullets, grenades, rockets, trench-knives, uniforms, shrouds, coffins and Funerary Flags are going to be treating their Tame SenatorsRepresentatives to steak and lobster dinners tonight.
Meanwhile the TeaBags are out screaming about proposed increases in Health Care and more oversight of the Banking and Investment “industries”, neither of which has actually taken place yet. But not one word against the War.

NY Times pretends the Afghanistan War Logs is news that does not fit
Is it surprising that the US newspaper of record, the NYT which prints all the news that’s fit, should declare of the Wikileaks Afghanistan War Logs: there’s nothing much new there? Oh REALLY? Point me to a NYT headline that read US Death Squads, or Civilian Casualties: We DO Body-Counts, or Insurgents Armed With Heat-Seeking Missiles, or War Crimes Being Committed Daily. Are we to accept that the NYT knew about these, but thought wisest not to report them? The only revelation which has been known, Pakistan Directs Taliban, is the leak they’re running with, because those reports are founded on intelligence, ie dubious conjecture, to discredit the others based on first hand accounts, and to rationalize more attacks on Pakistan.

BP SnotMuffin Hayward to be replaced by American Face.
Not the “First Church of Christ” videographer who does the extremely hilarious, poignant and heavily politicized youtubes. Just a CEO who will patch their “Image” problem by putting up a straw-man who “you’d like to have a beer with” type.
The first thought on MY automatically contrarian synaptic apparatus was “IMAGE” Problem? My God, they’ve poisoned the OCEAN, and they’re worried about Bad Publicity? What the HELL are those freaks thinking?

Furkan Dogan was no Leon Klinghoffer, (nor Abu Abbas, ergo no press for him)
Interesting that when Palestinians hijack a passenger ship, and kill one person, it’s quite a different story than when the Israelis pirate a ship and kill nine, even when one is an American. We remember the Achille Lauro, and the wheelchair-bound Leon Klinghoffer executed when the hijackers’ demands were being ignored. 19-year-old Furkan Dogan was executed without the Israeli Commandos making clear why they had any authority to attack the Mavi Marmara in international waters. Not one complaint from the US press or government. The difference is of course that Dogan was not Jewish, but Muslim. Israel’s own brand of antisemitic racism, obviously America’s too.

Pentagon and State Dept Call leaked information Crimes
Just, you know, not the CRIMES committed by their agents and soldiers, it’s the revelation of those Crimes that’s ‘criminal’.
No word yet on any prosecution against the Rove-Bush Kartel for making false statements that have directly led to the deaths of thousands of United States servicemen (each one a capital offense, according the the Bush Doctrine) and a literally uncounted number of Afghan and Iraqi civilians. Although the Wikileaks reports did add a substantial number to that count.
No, the people who told massive lies to support starting and continuing the Mass Murder Campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, they’re not the subject of the Criminal Investigation, run in large part by Investigators who ARE Criminals.
It’s once again come down to prosecuting people for telling the Truth.

According to “liberal” MSM, Hayward fired for not being P.C.
Nothing at all about being incompetent. No, it was his insensitive but, according to the now-official story line, unintentionally Snotty Snobbish remarks.
The Anti-politically correct squad will of course react with their usual convulsive tantrums about anybody in the entire world criticizing them for being deliberately rude and otherwise acting in an uncivilized manner. I don’t have to point out the Usual Suspects, I’ll just look in their general direction and smile.
They would be, and anybody can make an inference to match the implication, the titty-babies who scream as though being skinned alive, without anesthesia and using a dull pair of nail clippers, about being “denied liberty” if anybody scolds them for being Socially Retarded Animated Sphincters.
The ones who led the charge against MoveOn and the New York Times for the latter publishing, under the same First Amendment The T.B.s say is violated by scolding their churlishness… Publishing an advertisement in their newspaper, using editorial discretion and using managerial discretion, as in “It’s OUR newspaper, why can’t we charge exactly what we choose to charge for any service we choose to provide?” and gave the MoveOn people the same deal they had recently given the Bush Administration and… the person the Rival News Organization screamed so loudly about the ad criticizing, Generally Betrays-us, aka King David Petraeus.

Wikileaks spills “Afganistan War Logs” detail Task Force 373, US death squad
You thought death squads were only for banana republics? Meet covert US Task Force 373 which circulates in Afghanistan with a 2,058 name “Kill or Capture List” killing all witnesses, even policemen, who get in their way. The sudden transparency is due the AFGHANISTAN WAR LOGS, courtesy at last from Wikileaks. While dodging US DHS agents, Wikileak’s Julian Assange was able to coordinate a clever self-checking joint release of the documents via the Guardian UK, Der Spiegel, and the New York Times. The events reported aren’t accusations, they’re the soldiers’ own records.

The good news, the bad news
The good news: The War industry is bankrupt
The Bad news: due to the way their Corporate Welfare was funded, so is the rest of America.
The Good news: The foreclosure on the War Loan will shut down the war, thus freeing up manpower and whatever monetary resources are left to rebuild America.
The Bad news, All the War Contractor Profiteers who have absolutely NO experience with real work will be on the streets, unemployed and a drag on those Monetary Resources until they DIE.
The Worse news: The monetary resources no longer exist. Welcome to the Third World. Ethiopia, Greece and Egypt used to be mighty empires.

US House Resolution 1553 offers go-ahead for Israel to attack Iran
House Republicans have crafted a resolution to offer US approval for Israel to use “all means necessary” to confront Iran, reviving Holocaust fears and misquoting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, where “wipe from the map” conflating the “Zionist Regime” with the Jews. Below is the full text of the resolution, supported by Republican congress members including Colorado’s Doug Lamborn.

Update on the Vuvuzela ban in British Soccer
I mentioned the cheaply made plastic horns being banned on the ridiculous “public safety-homeland security” excuse that they could be a weapon.
Now, I’ve a passing familiarity with weapons and the scars and record to prove it. If you could possibly use a vuvuzela as a weapon, if you have that skill level, then you would do a far quicker job of it with your bare hands. I also mentioned that the Soccer Football clubs don’t ban drunken rowdies, and the existence of beer so strong it’s properly measured in “proof” the way distilled spirits would be, 40% alcohol = 80 proof. The usual strength of distilled spirits in the U.S. Anything over 100 proof, is considered “overproof”. This is not from direct experience, I don’t drink. I do have a steadily decreasing number of friends who do. One of the many Reaganite approved ways of offing yourself with a little help from the Corporate Empire. Like this example. 55% 110 Proof BEER. It’s a microbrew, sure. Most English beer that’s a mere 25% alcohol (they call American beer “piss”) isn’t micro-brew, it’s commercial grade toxins.
This stuff is called “The End of History”, they made like 12 bottles for sale, at 500 pounds per bottle. Using stuffed animals to hold the bottles. By that I don’t mean Winnie the Pooh dolls or “my pretty pony” dolls…

REAL animals, dead and stuffed.

Isn’t it strange…
The same TeaBags and Reagan Revolution and Christian Coalition freaks who say they’re opposed to Assisted Suicide, gladly and with a hymn on their Lying lips promote Suicide by Tobacco, Suicide by Fast Food, Suicide by dependence on motor vehicles instead of using our muscles. I know there are many of us in America who can’t get out and jog, I can’t walk more than a couple of blocks without pain. Due to my very infamous and uncompensated on-the-JOB injuries. But we aren’t everybody. Although the Cigarettes and the Diabetes will probably make it to where the ones who make all the laughing sneering excuses for their lifestyles won’t be able to walk without pain as they enter the Expensive To Everybody final stages of their lives.

Black is Back at the United Antiwar Conference: breaking the Obama Spell
Black Agenda Report‘s Glen Ford speaking at UNAC in Albany: “A real movement breeds a culture of resistance, a widely held belief that it is right to resist, that it is virtuous to speak truth to power. That culture of resistance is what made Black America the most reliably progressive antiwar demographic in the United States. It was not that black people were smarter than anybody else, we were just less confused. We had a better and clearer idea of who the enemy was.”

Futbol or Football, it’s all about us
Americans already have a “football” and so come into conflict with a majority of the world when our television broadcasters have to say “soccer” and assuage the confusion of US viewers when confronted by everyone else’s “football.” And ironic too, the sportscasters like to explain, compounding their error, because it’s about the foot and the ball, unlike domestic football which is about using your hands to carry an un-spherical bladder. But this humor presumes another American overreach: “Futbol” incorporates “foot” and “ball” only if you speak English.

CSPD say suspect remained combative
Meaning that he kept talking back to them as he was being BEATEN AND TASERED WHILE HANDCUFFED. Childish God-Damn PIGS are too emotionally insecure and unstable to take being “sassed” or called names and too YELLOW to fight somebody one on one. As Usual. The press is already convicting the “suspect”, Channel 5 News and their other Nazi “freedom corporation” Local Outlets like the Gazette are expected to rubber-stamp the LYING comments of the PIGS as if they were the Gospel. also as usual. They always do. Animal Liberation Lone Wolf betrayed by ATF informant, literature and tattoo
Pardon the delay, but when an activist is arrested for the literature he’s carrying, I’ve got to find that material. 34-year-old Walter Edmund Bond was arraigned today for setting the Denver Sheepskin Factory fire in May. ATF agents report that in his knapsack was a tract entitled Declaration of War: Killing People to Save the animals and the Environment The ATF alleges his copy was subtitled: Strike a Match, Light a Fuse, We Only Have the Earth to Lose. Bond was arrested after an informant taped him confessing to being the “Lone Wolf” who took credit on an Animal Liberation Front website. In the meantime, media outlets have linked Bond to a 1977 conviction for arson, failing to note he would have served the time as a toddler. (Turns out “1977″ was a typo.)
