The Chamber of Commerce both locally and nationally is lobbying to have ranchers evicted from Piñon Canyon.
These being the same Chamber of Commerce who fight Health Care on the grounds that the government providing insurance would somehow be seizure of private property without due process.
So, there’s a petition, the REAL non-corporate citizens way of lobbying directed to those who have the power to stop the expansion, and also to those who are lobbying to have the ranchers evicted. The latter group includes local elected officials who for some reason (like greed) will turn their backs on any constituents who don’t directly put money in their pockets.
The Real Estate brokers (the ones who made us all broke) have the money, the rest of us don’t, so guess who’ll get served? Lacking public opposition to their policies.
