Pseu Pseu Pseudo-Do-Dah-Day

For Rob. Thanks buddy! Say hi to yer Mom.

We’ve been toying with some pretty weird bits of thinking here, and it’s already getting hard to follow. Lemme try and tie a few things together. Also, if you’re still with me, now’s a good time to point out that this humble site is best read in conjunction with the discussions on my Facebook, (Steve Bass), and for this bit, especially within the PPCC Philosophy Club page linked from my Wall or wherever it is.

Bank of America to Americans: “You gonna be our bitch”

Yes, our old friends who took a billion dollar gift from America, paid no taxes…
Got us again. Seems they’re going to make the consumers pay for regulations which prevented them from unannounced and hidden fees.
The smug perfectly manicured bastard interviewed by NBC news said: “People should complain to their congressmen” because Congress told them they’re not allowed to steal (sometimes not allowed) from us and thus they “lost” MONEY THE THIEVING BASTARDS DIDN’T ALREADY HAVE, IT WAS STILL OUR MONEY AND THEY WERE PROHIBITED FROM STEALING IT.
Yes, by those calculations, anybody who buys a watchdog or installs a burglar alarm Owes The Burglars Compensation.
The Smiling Smug with the hands that never touched a shovel said “Well, somebody’s got to make up the cash, it’s just going to have to be the Consumers” .. Like he ever gave two shits about the well being of consumers. Watch as they give out another billion in year end bonus payments, and sneer at us Mere Peasants who dare to believe we shouldn’t be ripped off.
And they wonder why people throw airplanes at their buildings.

#OccupyDenver gains speed in spite of counterrevolutionaries hitting brakes

You can point the finger at the angry Anarchists, or at the nonviolence biddies who refuse to mingle, but in the end the Occupy Denver General Assembly emerged unscathed. At issue was the third of the St Paul principles, that activists will not condemn each other over divergent tactics. Of course condemnation provokes… condemnation, so the disruptors succeeded with their divisive interjections, until participants concluded that violence versus nonviolence was a non issue. No one wants or plans violence, why pretend it requires sanction or prohibition? For my part I wonder who says youthful exuberance has anything to learn from voices of experience, experienced at failure? Occupy Together is the common goal. The Denver occupation on the capitol steps is now encamped 24/7 and has organized a permitted demonstration on Saturday Oct 1. Local unions have signed on to march, which mirrors the interest labor is now paying in several dozen cities worldwide, just as Occupy Wall Street garners more and more celebrity and media attention.

Yer in the Army Now….

So much has been happening lately I’m afraid this will be a big confused mess, but what th’ hey, right?

The world is in a Meltdown. Hell that’s the reason I have time for this crap, ya know? This is NOT a surprise. We’ve all known it’s been coming for a looong time now, though it’s hard to nail down that specific moment when we knew. Maybe we always did. I’ll get to how I think we’ve known, and how we didn’t know we’ve know a different time. For now, a somewhat more imminent thought. Here’s one place to find a buncha bone-chilling stats http://www.theglobaleducationproject.org/earth/index.php . The numbers are everywhere. This is only one source, and far more officious, (don’t mess with me, I used that word on purpose), sources are available. YOU look ‘em up. Anyone wanting to look fuckin’ stupid can tapdance around them til–well, til the Apocalypse–and they’re not gonna change, cause tapdancin’ won’t change it. If it was gonna, it woulda! I already put it more or less in a nutshell: WE’RE FUCK-ED!!

Support the Rich, Work Harder

Class Warfare? It’s about fucking time.

To the Fine Folks at the PPCC Philosophy Club

I feel like a point is at hand where any of you who have observed or participated in the conversation between David Arnold and me, including David, deserve a pause for breath. The two of us have come to dominate the message board, it seems to me, and this has never been my intention. So I’ve given the thing a little thought and here’s how it comes out, extemporaneously for you all to consider.

Springs anti-bank protest threatened with arrest on public sidewalk!

Occupy Wall Street - Look it up!

NY #OccupyWallStreet protest is going to be this generation’s Woodstock. Are you going to miss it?

If you can’t bum a ride to New York City, you are going to miss out, it’s plain as that. But you can make the revolution happen where you are. The Egyptian victory in Tahrir Square wasn’t achieved without simultaneous demos in Alexandria and Suez, etc. The earliest heavy casualties actually happened outside Cairo. In the Colorado capitol, a nascent #OccupyDenver is building steam. President Obama is making a campaign stop in Denver on Tuesday at Lincoln High School at Evans and Federal. That will be an excellent chance to force the media to break its blackout against the anti-capitalist uprising. What’s there to say to President Obama? Nothing right? He’s shown he answers only to Wall Street. But the message to the TV coverage of Obama, and to the people of Denver can be: Why is the bank-owned corporate media not telling you about #OccupyWallStreet? Reclaim our democracy from the bankers.

Colorado Springs is gaga for warmongers, bigots, Zionists and conservative educational campuses. The local Intelligence Quotient doesn’t rise to the level of critical thinking, which is a heartbreaking trait in its youth. But there is an ongoing effort to aid #OccupyWallStreet’s visibility. It’s held on the noon hour, at Tejon and Colorado Ave downtown, at the Booz Allen Hamilton Building, where area war profiteers laugh all the way to the investment banks across the hall, passing by the local FBI office, btw. Our protest doesn’t have the music, mahem & hijinks of NYC Liberty Plaza, but none of the beatings either. Come a few minutes late and you get to pass reserve cops hiding out of our view in the alleys around the critical intersection, in case the bankers want their critics squashed. Possible messaging: DON’T LET BANKERS FORECLOSE ON DEMOCRACY, OCCUPY WALL STREET NOW!

WALL STREET BANKS ARE STEALING YOUR HOME, HEALTH, RETIREMENT, STANDARD OF LIVING, & WORLD RESOURCES. #OCCUPYWALLSTREET –LOOK IT UP.

The revolution will not be televised, emailed unfiltered, or allowed to trend on Twitter, but it’s starting without you

OCCUPYWALLSTREET- Eighty nonviolent #OWS protesters arrested Saturday by NYPD, some penned in and maced, others manhandled, as they marched in NYC against America’s bankster oligarchs. Wall Street proper remains fortified by anti-invasion barriers preventing pedestrians and demonstrators from getting anywhere near. The protest encampment in Liberty Square enters its second week and today’s baptism of police brutality ensures that the Second American Revolution is taking wing.

What are their demands, everyone asks? At the crux, the same as Tahrir Square, REGIME CHANGE, a decapitation of corporatist imperial fascism. The trouble of course is that to average Americans, a “regime” is a foreign entity, usually incorrigible. So long as the MSM defines the terms, the concept of a US regime doesn’t compute. Another reason why #OccupyWallStreet has to be vague about its goals is because calling for the overthrow one’s masters is not legal. For now, what the protesters against Wall Street say they want, is what they want. If you want to have a say in what direction they take, go there and take part. Otherwise, settle for this, their ONE DEMAND:

Consider the Lilies

My friends are no doubt a scrappy bunch. It’s no big surprise that guys like Jon and Adam and–holy shit–Skip, are pissed off and ready to burn a few barns down, so to speak. I don’t think I need to look up a bunch of fancy references to convince anyone that things are dire, dire, dire. The college students I went hiking with yesterday afternoon will have to live what, like 20,0000 years to pay off the stupid shell-game debt they supposedly owe. Some guy on Adam’s page was trying to convince me the whole business is thus because we never pay our bills. Bullshit. It’s like this because a buncha paranoid Fascist clowns have set up a little magick trick to try and convince us they have some legitimate claim to all the cheese. THEY DO NOT!!!

The News Corporation blackout continues…

Not just Rupert Murdoch’s share of it either, the MSM is covering #occupywallstreet with a blanket of silence. Everytime Sarah Palin farts there’s ten cameras recording the event and all the reporters volunteer to tongue wash her rectal orifice.
It’s fascism at its essence, right down to the “free” press fawning over the Police State brutal suppression of the voice of the people at (wall) street-level. And receiving direct tax-paid subsidies to the Corporations including their “free” press mouthpieces. The MSM shrieks on the command of their Overlords and keeps silent on command. Like our Local Fascist media, KOAA, the Gazette, other “Freedom” Corp “news” outlets… with their parent corporation in bankruptcy for the past three years and still they’re being bailed out, at whose expense? Since their corporate partners don’t seem eager to actually buy their debt from them, who’s paying their bills, and doing it secretly? Is it the GWOT Department of Lies, the ones set up in late 2001 to spread disinformation to the press and squash legitimate news with silence?

Capital = Job creation, as explained by CenturyLink formerly Qwest formerly SW Bell

and somewhere in there a brief fantasy relationship with Yahoo as an internet service provider and a general screwing to the taxpayers of the City of Irving and Dallas county being thrown in… but I once more digress.
CenturyLink “absorbed” Qwest’s facilities, employees and corporate debts in a process called merger where all duplicated or “redundant” jobs on both sides of the merger were downsized. Meaning XXX number of real people lost their tech and service sector jobs. That’s the way it looks on any prospectus of any merged corporations, in order to convince people to invest more capital in those corporations.
In reality the jobs created would be debt collectors and repossession crews and foreclosure agents.
BUT that’s what they tell the Money People. Those of us who are in the Peasant Majority are told that we should welcome CenturyLink along with the massive tax breaks given on top of the ones they already enjoyed PLUS extras for “Job Creation” in our communities… we’re told that these massive layoffs is somehow an opportunity for those “downsized” out of having a living wage job to get a job with a company who has just laid off about 20 percent of their workforce by eliminating redundant positions.

Someone should tell Obama that Troy Davis was a white banker. He’ll freak.

On the day after the state murder of Troy Davis, you’ve got to feel sorry for the Obamapologists who must have a lot more in a knot than their panties. How do you explain why President Obama couldn’t intercede to save the life of accused off-duty-cop-killer Troy Davis? Because it would have been unseemly for a black president, the first, to intervene in the sanctioned lynching of another black man, whose number is lost among the countless. It would have been a formidable first, but Obama took the highroad, out of Dodge. Was it a matter of not stepping on states’ rights? Because preventing an injustice would not have been worth it? To save a human life?

The Colorado College Community Kitchen will be publishing a cookbook! Every Sunday we get a buncha random, mostly organic groceries, Thanks Whole Foods! Another Lick

Guess I’m on a roll, so–speaking of shit you find lying around outside: The Pikes Peak region is “semi-arid” and pretty sparse, so far as dinner plate items from Nature’s bounty are concerned. “Pioneers”, (which of course is proto-Orwellian for “conquerors”), had rather more game around til they killed it all for the sheer glee of it, so if your caught out now things can be even rougher. To top off the chicken thingy I used strictly ingredients found outside. Lying around.

PIC: Hey Georgia, say cheese!

GODDAMN RACIST CRACKERS. By which I mean bloodthirsty Georgian officials, the US Supreme Court and the POTUS himself. Last week a Texas audience cheered their own state’s record number of executions, on TV, the halfwitted bigots. Lynch mobs used to pose for picture postcards which they purchased and sent to relatives. A sampling of notes on the backside: “Well John — This is a token of a great day … I saw this on my lunch hour. I was very much in the bunch. You can see the negro hanging on a telephone pole.” and “This is the barbecue we had last night. My picture is to the left with a cross over it. Love, your son Joe.”

HA! NYC FiDi is now Occupied Territory

–by NYPD cops unfortunately, Wall the street remains barricaded from anti-banking demonstrators, but the broader NYC class-war zone remains contested as #OccupyWallStreet forces hold their protest beachhead for a fourth day. Violent arrests in Liberty Park have been made for wearing masks, trying to stay dry, holding signs, and defying the police commander’s belligerence; hashtags and emails have been censored by Twitter and Yahoo, but physics dictates an opposite reaction, and the physics of activism guarantee it will be greater than equal.

Holmes Sweet Holmes

For NMania1: Thanks for the Voice
And for Bob Holmes: I love you Bob, I swear. But you deserve this.
Don’t feel too sad–I deserve much worse.

why centipedes are called centipedes and millipedes, millipedes…

Not that they have a hundred or a thousand legs but because it’s really common for people to stop counting once they’ve gotten to 36.

Such as a fellow who calls himself an “American Patriot” and links his comment name to a Fox website. Mentioned in the Pizza thread some really stupid number of “50″ people in the People’s Parade against the Wall Street Thieves. Apparently the fellow is rather upset that anybody would blaspheme against his god Capital and wishes to sneer it away. Much like the assmunch Banksters leaning over their balconies, drinking champagne and sneering, protected by the NYPD. The fact that they were so heavily guarded and the protesters peaceful allowed those sneers. Here’s a screenshot of part of a video from the protest. there’s more than 50 people in the first column of people not counting the cops. Now, if the THOUSANDS of people had been of a mind to do so, they could have overwhelmed the more than 50 cops and just dragged the smug Wall Street Thieves off their balconies and given them a collective enema with their own champagne and caviar. Which, given the recent history of Europe, bankrupted not by their “socialist giveaways” but by their backing of the Very Expensive War Of Conquest which benefits only the Wealthiest, and that only temporarily….

Will state of Georgia murder Troy Davis tomorrow in your name racist America?

The state of Georgia is about to murder the likely innocent Troy Davis in somebody’s name. By now you’ve probably been alerted that Davis is scheduled to be executed for the 1989 shooting of a Savannah policeman, despite witnesses having now recanted and another having implicated himself. Supporters are rallying to ask for clemency for Davis, arguing there is insufficient evidence to uphold the death sentence. So far Georgia’s obstinate. A stay of execution has just been denied. Any link to the state’s lion’s share of the nation’s black population behind bars? Or being second only to Mississippi in number of racial lynchings? Since 1882: 492 versus 539, out of total 3,446.

Capital strikes again and again…

This is completely off the wall (street) but I had to laugh at it anyway.
There’s one of those K-Tel type commercials, if you don’t remember K-Tel then go ask your mommy, kiddo.
Now it’s “As Seen On TV” or, as I like to call it, a warehouse in New Jersey where they keep the money they freeze on your debit card, something like a hundred dollars if you order twenty dollars worth of crap (plus shipping+handling but that’s another story) and collect interest on your money for a month until they decide to finally process your order and take the hold off your account. All very legal and ethical if you have the morals of George Bush on crack.
This newest product is something called Slim Away Belt or something really lame like that.
It’s… a corset. An invention that was first marketed during the Dark Ages when torture was considered fun of some kind. So they take a thousand year old device to keep women from enjoying life, changed the laces out for zippers et voila ici, it’s still a corset. It would come in handy as a back brace in case you ever do real work. But when they talk about getting in shape without any effort you realize… never mind.
It does show a guy using it during exercise in order to sweat off water weight which somehow gives him sculpted muscles. Sorry, it just brings out my Inner Snotnose when I see what looks like an elaborate joke but costs money if you actually buy into it.
Aside from the moral tie in to the rest of Capital, which is an equal scam mechanism, like auctions which cost money even if you don’t buy anything

Make Wall Street pay for bankrupting, debasing & corrupting American dream

Yeah I know, it was SEPT 17, SEPT 17 and detractors laughed because the denizens of New York’s financial district are not there to see a weekend protest, but Saturday was to get a running start on the morning bell Monday. Wall Street is not a street, a square or even a market, it’s a den of thieves, privately owned, publicly subsidized, licensed grand larceny. Demonstrators are asked, why protest Wall Street when the decision-makers are in DC? Uh, candidate Obama’s biggest backers were investment banks. We thought it was because they were opting for sanity over Dumber Bush. Turns out it was for the bailout, ongoing, and to ensure he’d laissez faire their free market, globalist usury.

The Wall Street protest needs PIZZA!

The #OCCUPYWALLSTREET protesters are pulling their second overnight, anticipating a showdown when traders and bankster return to the financial district on Monday, and especially as international delegates arrive for the UN General Assembly. So you’re not there, what can you do? Remember in the thick of the Madison confab, when pizzas arrived courtesy of Egyptians in Tahrir Square? Do that! USDOR Tweets are favoring Liberato’s Pizza, who’ve restocked for fresh orders, but the more eateries who receive calls, the broader will be the demonstration’s support. Here’s a list of nearby pizzerias, but chose whatever food YOU would like, and don’t look for solidarity from corporate chains.

NYPD directive: protect bull market

Charging Bull of Bowling Green Station, NYCOn eve of threatened activist occupation of Wall Street, NYPD has erected barricades around the stock market’s Golden Calf. Yes it’s bronze, yes it has horns, and to the banksters it’s no false idol.

Stage Magick

For Bruce McCluggage

Had some words with my friend Bruce yesterday–OK, lots of words. In fact, the Spirit moved me, so I was blasting words all over the place like that guy from the X Men, only with a gag instead of a visor. All the way toward the end of much conversatin’–and yes, Bruce held his end respectably in the face of my torrent–we came to a summation.
