Bradley Manning, Guy Fawkes, and the star chamber awaiting Julian Assange
You wonder what Elizabethan era failed coup plotter Guy Fawkes means to Anonymous. Their now iconic mask is actually an image under license from the film V FOR VENDETTA. The mask’s smirk connotes an elusive rabble-rouser and perhaps mocks Guy’s namesake bonfire holiday in Britain, meant to commemorate the burning of the would-be king-killer but ambiguously may also celebrate his near success. Anonymous wants to project an indomitable rebellious spirit, omniscient and untouchable, but Guy Fawkes most certainly met the death of revolutionaries immemorial.

Even unmasked, alleged Anonymous hactivists sport heroic Guy Fawkes grin
TPM and Gawker are getting lots of mileage from unveiling the mugs behind “Anonymous,” the alleged members accused of the DoS attacks on Paypal, targeted for its financial disruption of Wikileaks. As comment threads are yucking it up with the usual anti-geek jokes, ha ha they’re no longer anonymous, I couldn’t help but think of a chapter from Michael Moore’s upcoming HERE COMES TROUBLE excerpted for the Guardian, in which Moore recounts the ostracism he felt after his Oscar acceptance speech when he denounced the illegal invasion of Iraq. Though so many of us cheered, it turned out the critical derision quickly overwhelmed Moore. I can only hope that those recently arrested by the FBI for computer activism under the collective pseudonym “Anonymous” have the fortitude of spirit to see past their antagonists. Without inferring their guilt or direct responsibility for interrupting the mercenary Paypal, I’d like to recap the obvious, that Wikileaks and Bradley Manning are worthy of support, and we can bicker about Anonymous’ declared strategies, but anyone with guts enough to get off the proverbial fence is fighting the good fight. Theirs was a virtual picketing of an internet business acting politically, their protest was protected free speech. The penalties they face, up to 15 years it’s threatened, reflect the only rights the USG holds inviolate: financial transactions. The faces of Anonymous are heroes.

Ask, Tell, and now, Don’t Go, Don’t Kill
Denver’s GLBT parade was this weekend. Was there a Free Bradley Manning contingent? It may be asking this square state too much for a Queers Against Apartheid, as seen at the coastal festivals. We have a month before Colorado Springs’ pride. My idea at left.
Others: WE ARE ALL BRADLEY MANNING — ALL OUT 4 BRADLEY MANNING, ALLEGED WIKILEAKER, GAY HERO — SPRINGS PRIDE SAYS FREE BRADLEY MANNING — BLOWING THE WHISTLE ON WAR CRIMES IS NOT A CRIME! — BRADLEY MANNING: ANOTHER QUEER PRISONER WHO TOLD THE TRUTH, HE EXPOSED WAR CRIMES

Hillary Free speech part two
While she was speaking… she had a 71 year old Former CIA analyst BEATEN by Capitol Pigs for “heckling” her… not by screaming denunciations, but by quietly standing up and turning his back on her LIES. Like Sarah Palin having people beaten and arrested for not sitting down and not shutting up while she was lying HER ass off about “don’t sit down and don’t shut up” You must to sit quietly while the Fuhrer speaks, then applaud at appropriate moments! Alle Sieg HEIL!

Bradley Manning’s heroism magnified
PFC Bradley Manning’s last approved visitor David House was denied access to visit the Adrian-Lamo-named Wikileaks source, in this eighth month of solitary confinement without charges. Last week Manning’s lawyer described the conditions endured by his client: For 23 hours per day, he will sit in his cell. The guards will check on him every five minutes by asking him if he is okay. PFC Manning will be required to respond in some affirmative manner. At night, if the guards cannot see him clearly, because he has a blanket over his head or is curled up towards the wall, they will wake him in order to ensure that he is okay. He will receive each of his meals in his cell. He will not be allowed to have a pillow or sheets. He will not be allowed to have any personal items in his cell. … He will be prevented from exercising in his cell. If he attempts to do push-ups, sit-ups, or any other form of exercise he will be forced to stop. He will receive one hour of exercise outside of his cell daily. The guards will take him to an empty room and allow him to walk. He will usually just walk in figure eights around the room until his hour is complete. When he goes to sleep, he will be required to strip down to his underwear and surrender his clothing to the guards.

Dutch TV interview with Julian Assange
Julian Assange has been doing lots of interviews –strange the US media isn’t asking. We’d rather dissect the minutia of Loughner’s rants, to an incomprehensible end, rather than connect the dots with Wikileaks. What pretext do Americans grant the corporate media that we do not expect them to seek out and interview Assange?

What Twitter resisted releasing to DOJ, and we may presume Facebook did not
So the US Department of Justice wants Twitter’s records on the Wikileaks crew. So what, it’s social media — why expect that spooks can’t follow like everybody else? Except the USG wants to know more than followers or tweets, they want IPs, whose computer, network, when, etc, plus they don’t want persons of interest or the public to know what info they’re gathering. That’s a standard MO when investigating crimes like racketeering, but this is a DoJ fishing expedition with aim to criminalize journalism and whistle-blowing, in the meantime violating the privacy of untold thousands, if you are reading this, very likely yours.

Contaminants in the runoff water
Seems they predate the Homeless Camping debate by at least a decade. One of the problems that was present when the City and County of Pueblo sued Colorado Springs for fouling their water, e-coli. Seems Colorado Springs and Springs Utilities reached a plea-bargain mitigating the judgment against the Springs by making necessary repairs to the sewage system. This includes that bad ol’ StormWater that the right wingsters keep whining about. The wastewater treatment facilities were overwhelmed on several levels, not the least of which were the BlowHard Extremists like Douglas Bruce not wanting to pay their bills. Have their cake, eat it too, and then have somebody else pay for the cake.

As was long suspected, then reported, and the reporters mocked..
Like when Dr Laura’s son was using MySpace to boast of war crimes in which he participated or fantasized about committing, denounced by Ms. Schlesinger and others on the RightWing Lunatic Fringe as being “hacked” onto his account… along with his bits about worshiping Satan…
But now it appears there are still more stories coming out of VietRaqiStan of soldiers, good old Red–blooded American Boy Scouts, killing for nothing more than the fun of doing it. But it’s true patriot Bradley Manning who’s facing a Life Sentence for exposing it, not any of the Murderers. Had there been no war crimes to expose there would have been no exposure.

The Love it or Leave it crap again.
America has freedom still, or what little is left, because of the actions of Dissidents, not Conformists.
The Army didn’t give us these freedoms, save by surrendering their claims to any authority to do otherwise. Most certainly the wars in which the Army is engaged today, and has been steadily engaged in since the “cessation of hostilities” in 1945, have all been wars of Imperialism, to stamp out freedom wherever it rears its head. Nothing more or less than being Thug Enforcers for the Corporate Owners of the American Empire.
You can’t handle Freedom of Speech, YOU can get the hell out. There’s plenty of Banana Republics in the world being propped up for the profit of their American Masters, by American Military presence.
A long list from Abu Dabi to Zanzibar and all points in between.
Your corporate masters have bankrupted America on their way to Global Dominance. That’s not in any way related to freedom and you should stop lying about it.
Your Army is currently trying to lynch Spec. Bradley Manning for doing something you’ve never considered doing, too frightened I suppose. He MANNED THE HELL UP and told the truth and brought forth Proof to back it up.
And neither Your Pentagon nor Bush nor Obama have managed to do either one.

Peter King (R-NY) = Painful rectal itch
Rabidly Anti-Freedom. Freedom of speech unless you say anything against his Pet War. Freedom of Religion unless you’re Muslim of any sect, Jewish of any sect that doesn’t rabidly scream for the death penalty against all Muslims everywhere, Christian and not supportive of the D.P.A.A.M.E., Property Rights unless you’re Muslim and are building a community center near the “hallowed ground” Freedom to support any political party except for a long list he carries in his pockets including Democrats, Anarchists, Greens, Republican Caucuses that are too “liberal” for him… And any candidate he identifies as a Muslim or “soft on Islam”.

NY Times pretends the Afghanistan War Logs is news that does not fit
Is it surprising that the US newspaper of record, the NYT which prints all the news that’s fit, should declare of the Wikileaks Afghanistan War Logs: there’s nothing much new there? Oh REALLY? Point me to a NYT headline that read US Death Squads, or Civilian Casualties: We DO Body-Counts, or Insurgents Armed With Heat-Seeking Missiles, or War Crimes Being Committed Daily. Are we to accept that the NYT knew about these, but thought wisest not to report them? The only revelation which has been known, Pakistan Directs Taliban, is the leak they’re running with, because those reports are founded on intelligence, ie dubious conjecture, to discredit the others based on first hand accounts, and to rationalize more attacks on Pakistan.

Two “american civilians” killed at firing range in Afghanistan
And two Afghans. The “american civilians” is a code routine which means “Blackwater or Equivalent Mercenary Thugs who might or might not actually even be americans”. So much for those “civilians” carrying guns and wearing uniforms and training other murderers how to do it.
Now, how about the 120 REAL civilians, Afghans, mostly CHILDREN, murdered at Granai by United States Uniformed Military who were then given a free pass on any prosecution for their crimes? Or the ONE U.S. Soldier who is currently in a Military Prison in Iraq for exposing not just the MURDERS, of which the Afghan people were fully aware, but the LIES told by the U.S. Military to justify those MURDERS?

Pentagoons arrest Army Spc Bradley Manning in Global War On Truth
For providing the footage of the “Suicide By Cop” Helicopter Murders of Reuters reporters and civilians in Iraq. The person who snitched him off for money ,a former high-profile hacker, Adrian Lamo, said he didn’t want to “obstruct justice” as in, actually have Murderers punished for their crimes. The BBC report also falsely claims that the group of CIVILIANS murdered by the Helicopter High-Tech Hit Men “contained some Armed Men” even though the Murderers and their accomplices didn’t bring forth any such evidence. Just when I thought I could count on the BBC to put out a report unbiased by the Pentagon Warmonger Thugs.
