Erdogan fakes coup in Turkey, purges army and supreme court, shuts down US air base to force extradition of rival

The military coup in Istanbul was not what the Turkish President's tightly reined media, nor the West's fascist controlled media, say it was. It was not a coup, it was a Reichtag Fire. Now Recep Erdogan is rounding up the "plotters", most of them supreme court judges, who were the last checks and balances on his authoritarian ambitions. We're supposed to believe jurists plotted with foot soldiers? Imagine you get a ransom note from kidnappers, but the person they say they've kidnapped is on Facetime with CNN assuring you he's free! Imagine you're the kidnapper and you see that! But you're only a soldier, doing your compulsory military service, following orders to prevent rioters from storming a bridge, and you're not watching television as your president calls citizens to take to the streets and attack the disloyal "rebels." Meanwhile the officers ordered to give you the orders hop a helicopter to Greece because they know they are going to be the scapegoats. And get this: jet pilots who precision bomb Kurds and ISIS for lunch, can only lob lunchbox bombs upon the parliament and sundry official buildings. Now US pundits, speaking as former CIA officers, resting their laurels on having

Turkey: where Europe hides its refugee internment concentration camp slums. And this time, Arbeit Nicht Macht Frei.

The European Union has made a deal with Turkey to return escaped Syrian refugees to their cages. The escapees are civilians fleeing the war zones of Syria, where many of them already lived in refugee camps after fleeing Iraq and before that Palestine. So many people are seeking the safety of non-destabilized nations that the EU is full up. Too many refugees have survived the perilous crossing from Turkey to Greece that the EU wants to ship them back. To the internment camps blotting the Syrian boarder, tented slums encircled by razor wire, where huddled masses yearning to be free are concentrated and forbidden to leave. At the same time that the West demonizes Turkey, we're counting on Turkey to jail the innocents fleeing our wars. One sticking point are the maquiladora sweatshops which exploit the captive cheap labor. EU labor laws protect against such abuse, thus slave labor pools are only profitable outside the EU. In 21st Century camps, Arbeit nicht macht frei, whether your work is weaving rugs for discount superstores or treading the waters of the Aegean. 46156

NATO US ally TURKEY hijacks Syrian airplane with Obama’s approval and approval of many on the US Left too

In case you missed it yesterday, US Pentagon and Nato ally, Turkey, has now taken to hijacking civilian aircraft in addition to its normal routine of fomenting terrorism on the ground inside neighboring country Syria for the US government. Barack and Mitt sit by here in the US approving these acts of terrorism and calling for Turkey to become even more terroristic in its approach to Syria. I guess our US government has been waging a War for Terrorism all along... See Turkey says Syrian plane carried Russian munitions. 37284

Nato and the US government continue their not so covert war against Syria

NATO says plans in place to defend Turkey from Syrian attacks so goes the corporate reporting of the US instigated war on the Syrian government. The phrasing of this report is all bullshit because Syria is not attacking Turkey but rather defending itself from attacks launched against itself from Turkish territory with the full complicity and aid of the US, Nato, and Turkey itself. But the US press knows that is readers are none too bright, so away flies the insipidly stupid formulation of this pro- more war for all of us, propaganda.

Turks protest against war fever of their government and NATO

Many in the US government and European governments would like for Turkey to go and duke it out in Syria, but ordinary Turkish citizens are not in support of this war fever. See Protesters March Against War in Istanbul as Tension With Syria Escalates ... The Obama regime has done little in its four years in office to diffuse the Pentagon sponsored war making in the Middle East and Asia. In fact, the Obama Administration seems to be using Syria as a stepping stone for a coming attack against Iran.

Ron Paul, Libertarian Texas-sized Turkey, repeats his mantra that ‘government cannot protect us from all possible harm’ post Aurora theater massacre

............. I was wondering just what was over on the ronpaul.com web site as the lIbertarian Texas-sized Turkey heads into the Republican convention and just days after the Aurora theater shootings. So what's he got to say about the gun driven bloodshed that occurred once again here in Colorado? Why it's his same ol' mantra as always... 'Government can't help us ...Government Cannot Protect Us From All Possible Harm'! There's some truth to that, but Ron Paul, aren't you being a whole lot disingenuous here? Government damn well sure can protect us ALL from lots of damn bad things, and that's what we all really want government to mainly do, even if you are just too stupid as to actually think that we shouldn't! 36295

NATO is training the new police force in counter-revolutionary Libya

Turkey, a member of NATO, is now training the new police force in LIbya for the new counter revolutionary government the US and NATO have established there. 'A total of 817 Libyan police academy students arrived in Istanbul last week to train at the Adile Sadullah Mermerci Police Centre, where they will spend seven and a half months before returning to home to take up police duties.' Turkey Boosts Role in Libya by Training Police.

Western ‘Peace Movement’ sits by in ignorant and stupid silence as NATO assaults Syria via Turkish territory

There is a lot more going on here than Syria just shooting down a Turkish military jet, which is now being used as an excuse to support OVERT US allied military intervention against the Syrian government. In fact, the key COVERT war has been taking place along the Syrian-Turkish border for months with the Syrian city of Idlib being the focal point of that Western attack on the Bashar Assad led Syrian government. Because Idlib is only 10 miles from Turkey,it is where the so-called US/ Nato supplied 'Syrian rebels' have started the war at. (check the location out on google maps) 34987

The Puppet-Masters and their pet Turkey, double-dealing.

They condemn those of us in America who rebel against their fascist Corporate leadership and presumption of ownership of every aspect of our lives, calling it "Freedom" while their Pig-Slaves break our heads with clubs and plastic bullets. And in the case of Oscar Grant, lead and copper bullets. While cheering rebellions in countries which have denied "deprived" the Poor Little Rich Boys like Halliburton, Exxon-Mobil, British Petroleum, Royal Dutch, Shell, "stolen" their claim to have Corporate Control over their ports and their oil. And they actually finance and organize the so-called "spontaneous" rebellions like in Libya and now, Syria. Never mind they're also paying Other Peoples Money And Lives to put down REAL grass roots movements in Iraq and Afghanistan and Yemen... And Turkey. Turkey is now paying back their Corporate Overlords for the U.S. and NATO PUBLICLY FUNDED Terror War against the Kurds and Albania. The Slave-Caliph Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemns Syria for responding violently to violent attacks while continuing to suppress, with the help of his Puppet Masters in London and Washington, the Kurdish People actually having a right to life. Lick them Pentagon Boots, "caliph" Erdogan. They're your masters and you are their dog. Just like the New

Remember the Maine, the Alamo, Pearl Harbor or the day they found WMDs in Iraq?

I remember the day they pretended to have found WMDs. On CNN and FOX there were were reports that an oil refinery outside Baghdad had been liberated by U.S. Marines with WMDs inside. So they brought cameras in... embedded and therefore non-truthful reporters. A dank, dirty place. Oil refineries are like that. A huge stack of bent, rusted and otherwise unsafe 55 gallon drums. They would have been stacked that way to make the trip to the recycling plant. Nobody in his right mind would use one to store even the NORMAL toxic petrochemicals. Then about 30 barrels, unstained by the pollution, the smoke or smog or haze of burnt or vaporized oils, the soot that was caked onto every OTHER surface. Powder Blue paint on them, looked just like they had come directly from wherever they were manufactured. Not like, say, they were a decade old, hidden and moved since 1991. You might ask, "Jonah, how the Hell would you be able to tell that?" to which Jonah might well reply, "Because I worked in steel mills, solvent and glue plants, and oil refineries". They were stacked, actually. Not on pallets and lifted up by crane or forklift. No,

Iran had ‘preconditions’ for nuclear talks, Great Powers miffed..

Actually Baroness Ashton and other "diplomats" said they were "disappointed". Baroness Ashton led a delegation from France, Germany, Russia, the UK, US and China, at the two-day talks. The international team had proposed a new version of a plan to keep Iranian enrichment within civilian-grade levels by having it send uranium abroad to be processed. But Western diplomatic sources have spoken of anger and frustration over Iran's behavior at the talks. But of course... Arrogantly demanding that one's own nation be accorded the same Sovereign Rights as any other is a privilege accorded to the Great Powers. "Simply EVERYBODY knows THAT, Dah-link" 22399

Accounting for IDF missing intelligence

The results of Israel's self-investigation of the Mavi Marmara Massacre are in: surprise, the IDF commandos did no wrong, but were set back by a deficiency of intelligence. It's what many of us were already thinking, but there's another punchline which Israel invites by pairing the deadly raid with IDF "intelligence" assets gone missing. Six passengers of the humanitarian convoy are still unaccounted for. Rumors spread they may have been tossed off the ship, or languish in Israeli detention, but the trouble is, the six are also lacking for anyone missing them. Without friends or families registering concern, the convoy organizers can now deduce that the six were agents of Israel, who elected obviously to stay behind in Israel. Might this be because they were the principal provocateurs brandishing the pipes to give the IDF boarders pretext to fire upon the activists? 18116

Christian on Christian Crime Spree, ongoing…

The nationalities of those identified as the hijackers on 9/11... 15 Saudis, 2 UAE, one Lebanese and one Egyptian, all of them U.S. allies in the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan. U.S. and Allied Casualties on D-Day, D-Day, 2499 Verified American dead, 10,000 ALLIED soldiers. Fox (Ministry of Propaganda) puts total at 4000 and as high as 9000. Killed by the "Christian" cultures of Italy and Germany. That doesnt count the French Civilians killed by actions of both sides, nor the Christian Italians and Germans killed by the Christian British, French, Canadian, U.S., Polish, Dutch, Norwegian, Danish, Belgian, just to name the major players. None of the 9/11 hijackers were either Iraqi or Afghan. 15018

It’s a picture worth a thousand ships

At first the story read like diplomatic sensitivities ruffled by no more than your typical office power feng shui: the Turkish ambassador to Israel was not seated at a height commensurate with his host, the flag of his nation was not displayed, the Israeli deputy minister would not shake his hand. Rather it was Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon himself who called the reporters' attentions to the intentional affronts, lest it was not obvious enough from the photograph. To what do the Turks owe Israel's displeasure? Turkey's PM has been criticizing Israel's crimes in Gaza, to no greater degree than has been confirmed by the UN Goldstone Report. Here's to hoping that Turkish pride will answer appropriately. 13632

a respectable bird

"For my own part I wish the Bald Eagle had not been chosen the Representative of our Country. He is a Bird of bad moral Character. He does not get his Living honestly. You may have seen him perched on some dead Tree near the River, where, too lazy to fish for himself, he watches the Labour of the Fishing Hawk; and when that diligent Bird has at length taken a Fish, and is bearing it to his Nest for the Support of his Mate and young Ones, the Bald Eagle pursues him and takes it from him. 11953

Top Gun was feeling “sheepish”

Because he was having a Baaaaaaaad day.  That's the "Humorous" anecdote related to me by two Air Force sergeants who were laughing it up over the Air Force murdering at least one Kurdish civilian in 2000. Ha ha, really damn funny. This goes along with the claims made by the Air Force Murderers who unleash the Predator drones that their weapons don't actually target Civilians. They LIE as well as murder. 11642

Holding Iraq down for others to kick it

It's been repeated we cannot pull US forces out of Iraq before we have established an Iraq military with which the Iraqis can defend themselves. Not a police force, not a constabulary or carabinieri, but a veritable army to defend Iraq against its neighbors. Unless we're talking about Turkey. 2743

Mini AIPAC- The American Turkish Council and its connections with Lockheed

The story begins with Sibel Edmonds, a Turkish translator fired from the FBI after one year of work. She is now being defended by the American Civil Liberties Union as a whistle blower who was unjustly retaliated against for doing her job. An interesting case for sure. But even more interesting is the peephole that her case has opened into the shady doings of The American Turkish Council which has been termed the 'Mini AIPAC' due to its similarities with AIPAC, the Israeli 'lobbying' machine. 1103
