Prince Harry displays British hypocracy to uneducated Colorado warmongers
Want to know where you can find Prince Harry on his war cheerleading US tour? Half of it is in Colorado. On Friday he’ll be at a UK Consul-General’s reception at the private Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia. Between Denver and Castle Rock, that’s the Castle Pines exit off of I-25. He’s staying overnight in Colorado Springs and leads the opening ceremonies of the Warrior Games at the US Olympic Training Center at Union and Uintah. He concludes his Colorado visit on Sunday at the Air Force Academy on Sunday before flying east for a polo match. How unseemly for American media to be fawning over a British royal, and what a slap in the face for Colorado Springs Tea Partiers, if they weren’t so uniformly stupid, to celebrate a monarch for which they claim so much credit for having expelled. Nathan Hale would have hung a second time and a third and forth presumably to have had the chance to show smug twits like Prince Harry the door. Harry pretends to continue the work of his mother Lady Diana, ridding the world of land mines, yet how much credit does he get when he advocates for their root cause, war?

James Steele, Pentagon organizer of Iraqi torture and death squads, again exposed in new documentary
— Why is the horrible sectarian violence still continuing in Iraq today? A new documentary exposes how the US-Pentagon organizer (James Steele) of Iraq’s death squads post overthrow of Saddam Hussein began his campaign of Pentagon made torture squads in Vietnam, carried it forward into organizing Central America’s militaries’ death and torture squads as well, and now most recently into US troop occupied Iraq where the US war makers used Shia against Sunni residents. James Steele’s job was to organize Shia torture and death squads. This Pentagon soldier/thug’s legacy lives on ’till this day.

US forces push women to front lines, canon fodder being traditional minority role
Pentagon lifts ban on women in combat. I guess US prisons have consumed the traditional canon fodder labor pool. What’s the upside to this news –a kinder gentler militarized empire? Fail. Our culture of violence doesn’t breed matriarchs. American women on the front lines is good news for insurgents in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, etc, etc, now Mali, who must welcome the chance to even the score, US forces having targeted so many of their women. And this retaliatory killing comes with no karmic debt, unlike our civilian casualties, because US female soldiers, like gay don’t-ask-don’t-tell turnstile jumpers, are gung-ho eager-for-carnage volunteers. Have at it ladies. Insurgents must be really encouraged by recruiting trends in US schools which promise the prospect of the US soon deploying kids. We owe our colonial victims so many children’s lives.

Gun Control for weapons makers not users, for war mongers not hillbillies
I’m really not big on this call for gun control, mostly because it means to further restrict individual liberties, and especially because the outcry is a media induced hysteria of disreputable provenance, aimed at America’s violence junkies instead of its dealers. Really? Is Going Postal the result of a citizenry not having laws enough to control itself? US prisons reflect a conflicting diagnosis.

The US Left doesn’t understand much about the current state of the Pentagon and the US military
Much of the US population has been told by US Left liberals that the US ‘lost’ the Vietnam War and that the US military is some sort of paper tiger, when in reality the US military continues to be a very capable US ruling class killing machine that has killed millions around the globe since post WW2. Here following, I will list 2 recent examples of how the liberals and Left mislabel the US military this way by claiming that it is weak, and some few of the many reasons why they often do such.

Nato and the US government continue their not so covert war against Syria
NATO says plans in place to defend Turkey from Syrian attacks so goes the corporate reporting of the US instigated war on the Syrian government. The phrasing of this report is all bullshit because Syria is not attacking Turkey but rather defending itself from attacks launched against itself from Turkish territory with the full complicity and aid of the US, Nato, and Turkey itself. But the US press knows that is readers are none too bright, so away flies the insipidly stupid formulation of this pro- more war for all of us, propaganda.

Prince Harry the Hedonist shows war for what it really, really should not be
A young prince who can do anything he wants, might go to war for some noble cause, if he hadn’t already exposed his and its deeply immoral character. After his Vegas binge, Prince Harry has returned to Afghanistan, his request this time to be a gunner on an Apache attack helicopter in the UK squad with the highest kill rate. It reminds me of the Hapsburg emperor who liked to shoot a peasant each day before breakfast –eventually his handlers had to enlist actors and load the old man’s rifle with blanks. We prefer to look back at old Franz Joseph as senile, but what is the truth about unrestricted inhuman whim?
A recent Taliban attack on Camp Bastion, Prince Harry’s base in the Helmund Province, may have been aimed at the bloodthirsty prince. Who can blame the Taliban for targeting a pro-war figurehead which the UK itself is exploiting? It could be however that Prince Harry’s secondary strategic benefit is not dissimilar to the American misuse of anti-Muhammad taunts to provoke insurgents. Drawing more Taliban fighters out of the shadows probably does not displease his royal trigger-happiness. Probably unarmed Austrians shared just as unfavorable odds as Afghans with AK-47s against Harry’s gunship. Let’s hope not.

US, Britain, France, and Germany versus Russia and China- Battle Zone Syria
Those Americans who tend to see the Syria battle out of its geo-politcal context are playing stupid and mainly fooling only themselves. Here from a news report… ‘Another item which the two leaders will most likely discuss is how Russia and China may protect themselves from a network of air defense facilities, which the US is now unveiling in Asia. China’s authorities are very concerned about the fact that the US is deploying missiles and air defense systems in Japan and on the Philippines, because this is obviously done as a reaction to China’s program of developing nuclear missiles.’ (from What Russian, Chinese leaders may discuss during APEC summit)

Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign slogan revealed at Colorado College: FOR WAR

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- After President Obama’s campaign stop at Colorado College, the crowd clears, a reporter files his story, while an indiscreetly placed tree obstructs just enough of the Obama 2012 campaign logo to restore truth to the election season doublespeak. Does “forward” mean much more than the ol’ bla-bla-bla? –to quote a friend who heard his speech. Without the D you have “FOR WAR” which makes a lot more sense, and that “D” stood for Democrat.

Mitt Romney trips upon brilliant foreign policy idea, gives Israel’s plan to attack Iran an idiot’s stamp of approval.
On the heels of making A TWIT of himself in London, self-caricaturized Romneyshambles, GOP presidential foil-candidate Mitt Romney traipsed over to Israel and depth-charged their bellicose policy of menacing Iran with continuous threats of preemptive attack by proclaiming his “respect” for it! Then he mistook the capitol of Israel for Jerusalem in the Palestinian occupied territories!
American billionaires aren’t underwriting Mitt Romney’s campaign because they think he can be president. They don’t need him. Pro- corporate Barack Obama is already their internationally-populist figurehead. The money the oligarchs are pouring into Election 2012 is to convince a post-hope public that voting still matters. To ease voter buy-in the electoral decision is being made easy: choose smart versus stupid. Barnum dictates you can’t underestimate the American public, but Romney’s lack of political sense may out-dumb common wisdom.
UPDATE: What did Romney do next? He praised the Israelis for being more economically successful than the Palestinian neighbors they’d dispossessed, crediting the stereotypical Jewish culture! He closed his standup tour by deliberately soliciting foreign campaign contributions.

Heads kept down in Colorado Springs as professional gunman, Army Ranger ‘Little Monster’, threatens rampage
COLO. SPRINGS– The CSGT morning headline described Aurora shooter: GUNMAN WAS LIKE ASSASSIN GOING TO WAR, but the next news cycle warned of a pro, this time an Army Ranger, cruising the city, who’d flown from Fort Lewis, Washington with the intention of killing his ex-fiance, her new boyfriend, then himself. The 5-foot-5 Sgt. Joshua Johnston Daner, a special forces soldier nicknamed “Little Monster”, has three guns, “violent tendencies” and possibly an injured hand from punching a wall. If you think having to look out for one Army Ranger is bad, imagine a city in a US war zone, Iraq or Afghanistan where Daner served for example, bracing for teams of “Little Monsters”, a death squad of Rangers, or brigades of regulars behaving with less discipline than special ops, with the authority to hit you as they would a wall.

Kofi Annan troops to Moscow on behalf of the Pentagon
Poor Kofi, it is not easy being the head of the ‘United Nations’ brigade of the US military. Here he is, trooping off to Moscow pleading with Putin to allow the Pentagon to continue to try to smash up the Assad government in Syria. Annan Finds Mild Response in Russia on Syria. ‘Russia, Help us out here!’ must have been Kofi’s plea.

Waldo Canyon Wildfire gives Colorado Springs a front range seat to war zone movie set, says Governor Hickenlooper

COLORADO SPRINGS- Governor Hickenlooper made the remark after touring the Waldo Canyon Fire by helicopter. After touching down on the grounds of Coronado High School, cleared mid-press-conference because it fell in the freshly designated evacuation area, the governor said the wildfire resembled the movie set of a military invasion. Predictably the media clipped his observation to just “movie set”, adding the fire chief’s “epic” and “historic”. President Obama is expected to visit the disaster zone on Friday. I wonder if he’ll match our governor’s candor. He is certainly in the position to say whether our present horror is any match for the devastation unleashed by our invasions. Perhaps he can tell us the fire’s equivalency in drone strikes. Is 100 homes a week’s worth? If President Obama wanted to be partisan about it (pretending his Democratic Party was the antiwar party) he might suggest that conservative war-mongering, race-baiting, climate-denying Colorado Springs had this front range seat coming. Unless sentimentally doused in prayer-sharing reverence, our local disaster, with Governor Hickenlooper’s unedited comment, could be an empathy-learning moment.

A harsh war continues in Libya though Western humanitarian liberals and Lefties no longer seem to care now that Gaddafi was removed from power by the US government
Poor Libya. Just months ago it was the cause célèbre of US and other Western Lefty humanitarian imperialists who rushed to support the Pentagon’s struggle against a dictator, Moammar Gadhafi, who was also a nationalist outside Washington D.C.’s direct control. How’s that going for the Libyan people? Answer- The counter revolutionary gangs who Washington organized now battle among themselves, or more commonly, simply act like gangs do when fighting over turf. The war continues… Recent tribal clashes in western Libya left 105 people dead and some 500 injured, the government has said. …though humanitarian imperialists no longer care. All is wonderful to them now that Gadhafi has been tortured to death.

War is the neo millennium Jobs Bill
To laud this tragic now banality, Fort Carson has a job fair today, but those most suffering under the neo liberal economy need not apply. To attend the event held on post, potential job applicants for the military industrial sector, need what voter disenfranchisement projects push for election restrictions, a federal or state ID, vehicle registration and proof of insurance, for entry level non-union contractor labor that will barely support that.

Doublespeak about US war against Syrian government continues from Obama White House
Just days after announcing that it was going to openly arm ‘Syrian rebels’ already armed by the US and its Middle Eastern allies, the Obama White House now claims that it is supposedly against fighting a war against Syria, even though it is already doing so more and more overtly. All this lying and dancing, skipping rope and singing ‘human rights’ love and yada yada is how the US government always begins its wars, is it not? Nothing new here with the Obama Democratic party crowd at all in this respect. Actually, they make the Bush and Cheney team even look like amateurs in this racket. Following massacre, White House maintains opposition to US military action in Syria. Is that young White House PR man pictured spouting the bullshit really named ‘Jay Carney’, Obama? How corny the guy seems for a carney! Really.

Why Are Americans in such a rush to treat People like Dogs?

Americans are always in a rush to go bomb countries, arrest people, torture people and treat its illegal immigrants like criminals and trash. Why are Americans so busy trying to jail innocent people rather than go against the real criminals? Is it because they are plain ignorant or because they don’t believe they can fight against such an oppressive gang of thugs. Maybe this type of quote is what Americans take to be sound advice: “If you can’t beat them. Join them” ― Jim Henson, Jim Henson’s Storyteller

Here’s another one for ANZAC Day…
So, it was on or just before ANZAC Day four years ago, the last veteran of Gallipoli died. And I truly do get a bit sad and angry, betimes, when these guys are held up as a reason FOR more wars, more militarism, more police state bullshit. Sometimes I choke when singing Eric Bogle’s song, “The Band Played Waltzing Matilda”. There were 2 sections of the song:
“I looked at the place, where me legs used to be” and “But as year follow year / More old men… disappear / Someday no one will march there at all.”

Just how doped up on medications are US soldiers now getting?
Pills, pills, pills! Just how doped up on medications are US soldiers now getting? The Los Angeles Times today has an article called A fog of drugs and war that mentions ‘more than 110,000 active-duty Army troops last year were taking prescribed antidepressants, narcotics, sedatives, antipsychotics and anti-anxiety drugs, according to figures recently disclosed to The Times by the U.S. Army surgeon general.’

Behind the UN’s messing over Somalia and Haiti, lies the US government
The UN, with the US behind them, just can’t stay out of the news completely about how the two together are royally screwing over the people of both Somalia and Haiti. In Haiti, the UN has had continually been involved in the sexual abuse of Haitians and also in bringing them a virulent strain of cholera from Nepal. See Peacekeepers in Haiti face sex attack inquiry, and Two peacekeepers sentenced to a year in prison with hard labour after a trial found them guilty of sexual abuse.

Despite the UN brokered ‘peace’ truce, the US and US Arab allies to continue war on Syria’s people
The New York Times today reports… ISTANBUL — ‘The United States and dozens of other countries moved closer on Sunday to direct intervention in the fighting in Syria, with Arab nations pledging $100 million to pay opposition fighters and the Obama administration agreeing to send communications equipment to help rebels organize and evade Syria’s military, according to participants gathered here.’ (Continue to NYT reporting… U.S. Joins Effort to Equip and Pay Rebels in Syria.) …One might add though that the US government is not ‘joining’ anything it hasn’t been behind organizing itself from the very beginning.

Obama’s lying claim to be for world nuclear disarmament
Only a slime ball like Obama with his Democratic Party-military-industrial complex behind him would be capable of pulling off the pretense of calling for world nuclear disarmament while stoking the flames for a new US Middle East war to be begun at one and the same time! How does he get away with such garbage? It’s because the liberals let him, that’s why?

Battle for Hearts & Minds of Afghan and Iraqi people has been lost by US troops
Does anybody in the US really believe that the American military has won over the Hearts and Minds of the people in Afghanistan and Iraq, let alone in other parts of the Middle East?
Our government’s military is a corporate modeled occupation army and not one fit to over Hearts and Minds of those whose lands they occupy. For example, read Just Plain Stupidity Or A Failure By Design? … Burning the Quran; Urinating On Dead Bodies … In that commentary the author talks about the ‘brainless’ behavior of the US occupation forces. But could it be any other way? Racist military men and women hardly are the best conduit for winning people over to supporting the US. They are just over there to do a ‘job’, make a ‘career’ for themselves in the US military, and then get back home and grab some of the extras that the military offers up to its hires.
