A thuggish murder of Queen’s English

Christine O'Donnell is being audited on her campaign spending, as well she should. She made a devil's deal, sold the remaining fragments of her soul on a bet that she could become a Congress-critter. The Korporate Kampaign-fund Kartel fronted her undisclosed amounts of bread. But she didn't follow their rules. There's a quotation from Shakespeare, from the funeral of Falstaff "this huge hill of flesh, this breaker of horses backs, ... he was never, yet, a breaker of promises, he will give the devil his due." She's not given the devil his due. Devil says, look, all you have to do is occasionally chant "9-11!" or "Tax and Spend Liberals" and we'll do the rest, for lack-of-gods-sake don't try to write your own speeches or ad lib anything, because you're a moron." Did she listen? No, she did NOT listen. There's another quotation from a drill sergeant, "it's impossible for the ears and the mouth to work at the same time, you're either listening or running your head." 21158

Massey orphan, suddenly fatherless, says Coal equals Freedom

AFTER the Massey Company took her daddy's life with their Union-Busting activities, AFTER they got rich off her Daddy's work and her Daddy didn't... (edit: the comment following was sloppy editing on the part of the "news" service, she blurts out that Fascist Anti-Earth Propaganda about working in the coal mine being the key to economic recovery and compared her Daddy dying to "fighting for freedom." The rest of it is Gospel.) The Massey company, their only concern is that the mine is out of production for a while so they don't get Richer off the sweat and blood and toil and deaths of "their" workers. They continuously refused to provide safety upgrades, "Too expensive." Miners are cheaper than safety equipment. 15807

Treesit halts W. Va mountaintop removal

Mountain Justice activists Laura Steepleton and Nick Stocks continue to occupy trees adjacent Massey Energy's West Virginia coal mine, preventing further blasting of the Edwight mountaintop removal site. Assistants at the base of the trees were arrested for trespassing, but called back, expected to help the police communicate with the sitters. Earth First! spokesman Mike Roselle has been visited by State troopers, demanding he command the Coal River Valley treesitters to climb down. Check Climate Ground Zero for updates, where you can leave messages of encouragement. 8504
