An Other Quake in Haiti…

nearly an hour ago, 8:03 AM their time. Not nearly as big, and of course every building that would be torn down by earthquake has already been torn down.
I wonder how the Pat Robertson-Rush Limbaugh Hate-crime cartel is going to spin this one. Maybe all the Americans and Christian aid workers are hated by God as well. (I’ll focus on the Churches because I’m Christian, and because I purely despise jackass reporting by Right Wing Freaks who believe that they, and they alone, have the blessings of God… with their “proof” being that He hasn’t struck them dead for their Thefts, murders, whoremorngering and blasphemy…. YET)
By Robertsons mathematical formula, the Aid Workers must be Extremely Evil. Enough of that for now.

Keep tuned in and keep caring. They say WW2 was “The Greatest Hour” for Warmongers. If so, this is shaping up to be a call to duty, real duty, of Peacemongers.

I as well am a Christian, brother Jonah. I do not believe it is man’s responsibilty or right to interpret a catastrophe as an act of God. Only the One Who did or did not send the natural disaster knows. It is not our place to say.

However, the book of Revelations does tell of things to come and natural disasters are a part of it. Jesus also said that we will not know when the end will come. Once again, we simply don’t have enough information to criticize and make inferences. I do feel sorry for all those victimized by these earthquakes and whether or not God sent this catastrophy, it remains my/our job to love and help those in need and to go where we are called for the work of His kingdom.

If you’ll remember Job, you’ll see that bad things can happen to good people as well. Catastrophy is not isolated to God’s enemies. It is upon how one reacts and treats his situation that he will be judged.

All this being said, I can not believe that even though He could and has every right to bring such disaster on a people, that this event has anything to do with divine intervention. I preserve the right to be wrong though, and I along with everyone else will know someday if I am.
