Had the Dallas County Sheriffs department SWAT team making sure all protesters, including many members (unlike Bush) of the United Methodist Church who (unlike Bush) actually have claim to the property, were kept a safe distance from the Mainstream Media Acolytes who were fawning over the New Messiah Bush and his equally blasphemous entourage, including “DUCK!” Cheney and Condescending “I am NOT a token!” Rice. The SMU Board of Regents, who approved giving Church Property over to somebody who is building an Idolatrous Temple to his Imperial Majesty, over-rode the authority of the Bishops of and most importantly the congregations of the United Methodist Church in doing so.
The Moneychangers, not content to make merchandise of souls in the Courts of the Temple, bought the Temple and drove Christ from it.
The Church will be expected to maintain the library, especially security therein, the same way the Dallas Police will be expected to do so, (The ‘cities” of University Park and Highland Park are the wealthiest neighborhood, de facto, in the City of Dallas, depend on Dallas city services especially police, and are “independent municipalities” as part of a Tax Dodge where the Rich Bitches who live there don’t have to pay for any of those services) to insure that no dissenting opinion defiles his Unholy Altar or the graven images he is making unto himself.
