Things to do on the last day of Spring.

The sun rises in a few minutes, so I’ve got a short series of songs on my playlist, which I’ll accompany with my recorder (flute) Moonshadow and “Morning Has Broken” of course, Question and Wildest Dream by the Moody Blues, Elusive Butterfly by Bob Lind, Sunday Mornin’, Comin’ Down by Kris Kristoffersen, songs of hope with a hard edge, reflection with a back door that leads to a future…
Neither bubbly optimism nor dank melancholia. One of our tomato plants is (apparently, I’ll check) getting its first flower today, by the middle of the week our first Fried Green Tomato… a “heritage” breed too, not the Monsanto recombinant one with a DNA sequence from cod-fish, that’s supposed to keep them from crystalizing at 0 degrees Celsius thus they can ship them at technically freezing.
