What’s wrong with privatizing public resources? Quite a lot, actually…

(Editor’s note: Some Colorado Springs councilmen don’t see anything wrong with leasing public assets for private profit. Is there anything wrong with that?)
 
Well, let’s see. The City Council is so top heavy with Real Estate Brokers including Princess Barbie Czeladtko, and Tim Leigh, and if they get their Fascist way fellow Realtor Steve Bach as “strong mayor” who all ran on money donated by people who favor privatizing ALL public lands, from the BLM lands to the Indian Reservations to the National Parks, National Forests and… city and county parks. How would they do that without a conflict of interest? It seems they’re throwing City Funds straight to their own businesses. Then there’s an Issue Princess Barbie and a few of her friends (if self-absolbed Princesses HAVE “friends”) blaming the drastic fall of real estate value on the visibility of poverty.

Specifically the No-Camping ordinance which further punishes homeless PEOPLE for being poor. In a sense actually Demonizes them, the way Princess Lisa went on a screed about “The Homeless” PEOPLE participating in a church Pizza Party at a downtown park. one that’s about three miles as the crow flies and four as the dog trots from prospect lake.

She denounced one person for being in Her Most Learned Snap Diagnosis “schizophrenic”. Something even REAL Doctors can’t do without days of testing done by multi-disciplinary experts working as a team.

It’s simply wonderful that we have such arrogant bigots on City Council yes?

Would the Colorado Springs Gestapo Department step up their already dictatorial and arbitrary denial of non-wealthy citizens to have the same access to Parks, Libraries and other PUBLIC places as the Princes and Princesses of the city?

Have suggested without one word of protest from City Council, banning anybody who LOOKS homeless from City facilities.

Because, you see, “public” in their definition means only the Rich part of the “public” and the rest of us can simply eat their shit.

And they have this Capitalist Mythos which says that the Real Estate Crash was caused by the actions of people who cumulatively own a fraction of 1% of the wealth in this town or the nation or world as whole entities. Instead of by the actions of Greed-mongers such as those, like Real Estate Brokers, who bought and sold the idea that a finite resource, land, constantly rising in price, would bring THEM infinite wealth. Like Ponzi Schemes, Chain Letters and Pyramid businesses, it fell apart and took America down with them.

And now, many, including some on City Council, like Leigh and Princess Barbie, are blaming the poorest of the poor for causing it by being seen in public.

There’s already a FAILED restaurant directly across the street from Prospect Lake. Wouldn’t it make more sense to use facilities which already have, unlike a storage area,

Such things as a working Restaurant layout inside? And on their patio dining area as well.

What, the people who believe in the Power of Private Ownership don’t want to purchase that restaurant?

Then there’s, again, the Urban Renewal GentriFascists like Leigh and Czeladtko and Bach will persecute the working class people in this city for “getting too close to THEIR restaurant” by using other park facilities?

Because when your restaurant business idea falls on it’s face, as MOST restaurants do, the non-elite Elitist Pigs like Patchsi, Heuberger, Princess Lisa, etc, will blame the presense of Visible Poverty for THEIR failure. It’s a hallmark of the infantile Narcissist that they’ll blame their failure on the most convenient and most defenseless target available.

They’ll have the CSPig Department doing sweeps to remove “undesirables” from Our Own Property to protect the Delicate Sensibilities of all those Wealthy Captains of Capital and their sows and Piglets. Mustn’t actually SEE the blight the acquisition of their Wealth imposes on others. It might, as Princess Lisa pointed out about the pizza party at Acacia Park, cause some vague and undefined danger to the Children.

But only, of course, the Children of the Wealthy, our own kids can, like us, line up and receive a ration of Rich Folks Shit to eat.

What, are the Rich upset that a scion of Poverty can offer back an equal and, really, much more deserved, ration of scorn upon their Greedy Nasty Ways as the scions of Wealth heap upon US?

I bet you or any other member of the council would never work at minimum Wage and haven’t since the time you were teenagers and your Minimum wage was supplemented by assistance from your parents. You would cite that it’s impossible to maintain your lifestyle on Minimum Wage. But the people who are POOR, we don’t deserve your lifestyle, because we’re not born to wealth like you and OUR kids don’t deserve the same opportunities as YOUR fat snot-nose Piglets because they were also not born to Wealth. Wealth accumulated from OUR labor into YOUR Rich pockets.

The “people” you’re going to draw, don’t you mean Rich Bitches like yourself? Oh, sure, we really NEED more Rich People pushing us out of the only homes we have and sneering at us that YOUR money, stolen from OUR labor, somehow makes US inferior to you.
