Unfortunately, many if not most of these same Americans would easily buy into the US going to war with Iran if the new war was presented by the US propaganda machine to them all nice and properly…. More than half of Americans back Obama's Koran apology. …An apology is not near enough though. The US has spent decades destroying Afghanistan, and it’s not just about some few burnt Qurans anymore. Plus, you cannot be planning for a war with Iran and expect anybody to take your ‘apology’ seriously, Barack. Bring ALL the troops home now!

Tony you confuse me….you hold up signs that says troops kill kids then you tell me you associate with troops…also you put up that you want the troops home….you say ptsd is fake…but tony i suffer from it and ill be honest ive never shot at anyone…yes ive been in firefights but i never saw the people…i understand being anti-war im anti-war trust me…it may not seem like it but i am…i dont wanna leave my wife and daughter behind to fight another war for no reason…i believed in this when i was younger…and i saw what were trying to do there…were trying to build a nation up…tony the taliban over there kills the kids…they kill em and blame us…have you ever spoken to afgahnes over there….i have…if the kids call which they do when the taliban place a bomb by there house the taliban blow it up on the kids or they go murder the family latter and blame us..tony ive seen it…the people over there are fighting the taliban…yes a lot of them join…but its either join and make money to feed your family…or die and have your whole family die…so tony be honest with yourself and all the people…what is your stance on the average day soldier whos trying to make a better world for his family and protect his country and fellow citizens
PTSD is not fake, Jeremy, and I never said that it was a fake diagnosis in my opinion. So how did you get that I supposedly think that, I don’t know? What I do think about PTSD is something entirely different than that.
IMO, many people in fact can suffer ongoing chronic mental problems after encountering stressful situations in their life, and it is something that effects many different people in many different walks of life and not just soldiers. However, it is a diagnosis most given out to soldeirs, and often times given to those who do not in fact really suffer from PTSD so much as that they just have ordinary emotional and mental problems that are somewhat exacerbated by military life and unrelated to what they underwent in any combat zones.
‘so tony be honest with yourself and all the people…what is your stance on the average day soldier whos trying to make a better world for his family and protect his country and fellow citizens’
I respect that. I think that is what most probably is your strongest desire.
the ptsd is from one of the stories you wrote on here…i agree some soldiers get it that shouldnt like ptsd from basic…..http://notmytribe.com/2012/who-in-the-world-eally-suffers-from-ptsd-830451.html
Jeremy, you seem to have a real hard time coming to any grips with the basic reality that the US military and the US soldiers in that military cause a whole Hell of a lot more PTSD in others than they themselves ever will suffer from. And you are in their country, not them in ours. So YES, antiwar activists are going to be able to understand about who actually most has PTSD and who doesn’t so much have it. Do you have a problem with that?
