Oxford is owned by the Episcopal church, technically property of the Monarchy, but when the Royals (often) brought forth really stupid offspring, if little Prince whichever was NOT going to go to Oxford. They have standards.
But that’s as clear a difference as between a draft dodger and a draft resister. The resister takes a stand, something none of the top investors of DAPL ever would. They lack the Courage. George W, after flushing out of college, got a champagne post with the Texas National Guard, which he promptly deserted. Desertion itself isn’t bad. Deserting and having your 1.Rich Bitch Daddy and 2.Grandpa (CIA Director for #1 and U.S. Senator #2 who each bought their way into government, like Trump) made his court martial disappear.
Other people who deserted as a matter of conscience got long sentences if they were captured.
