There is no existing image of Mohammed, nor of Jesus nor of Moses. Any images purporting to be such are depictions created much much later than the times they walked our earth.
And some of those are equally opposed by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the made-up controversy over the image of Mohammed. Mohammed was a man and not God, and said so clearly.
I know from Christian experience that many Christians feel just as strongly about actors like Charlton Heston portraying Moses and many more actors portraying Jesus in films that these controversies are still hot, still not ever going away.
