Cheney ordered CIA to conceal operation from Congress.

Not from the People, that part would be a “gimme”, but from the People’s Representation. Now the Right Wing is trying to spin it that the operations in question were “The (miserably FAILED) Hunt for Osama bin Hidin’ ” and thus it’s not Patriotic to call it into question.
HOWEVER, the investigation that uncovered it was one probing the Spying on Americans programs. That they would feel the need to LIE about even that much shows a distinct pattern of Domestic State-sponsored Terrorism in action.

Add in that the Bu’ush Regime hired people specifically for their ability to Lie effectively.

Then there’s the revelation that some top CIA officials threatened to quit over the scope and nature of the operation.
These guys aren’t exactly Freedom Mongers of any stripe, don’t give three shits about the Constitution or Rights or anything like that.

If it was bad enough to make THOSE pigs rebel it must be something truly horrendous.

  1. I was working for one of his companies when I took the fall that ended my construction career.

Before that I had gotten to know a lot of his and Mr Bush’s business associates.

As vile a pack of thieves as ever haunted our nation.

I’ve got a new name for their brand of take-no prisoners armed robbery, a “rape-off”, substantially more than just a Rip-off.

Giving them even the slightest variance on constitutional powers was beyond a mere “mistake”.

  2. CopyCat,
To paraphrase Happy Gilmore: You spit wet rats?

BTW, is there some bathroom stall in the blogosphere that advertises “For a good time, visit NMT with your pedantic comments”?

First NMT suffered blood-mongering Zionists, now we’re being tag-teamed by an inadequately home-schooled Fundie?

Why do you feel the need to insult people?

Unless you like, or trust, Cheney, then we actually AGREE on this article.

p.s. I was not home schooled, but home schooled students tend to score higher than their publicly indocrtinat… erm, I mean educated peers. I also disagree with the uS policy of sucking up to Israel, so, I don’t think you could consider me a Zionist, either.
