“Psychic Tip” is enough to get a No-Knock Search Warrant…WTF?

So the AP headline was "Texas farmhouse searched on Psychic Tip, no bodies found". WHAT? I'm not in the least concerned that there wasn't any evidence found, I myself can "psycho-ly" predict that particular outcome. Not one single Scientifically Empirically Verified psychic prediction of ANY of the major news-generating Historic events has ever been brought forth. Not Pearl Harbor, not the death of any political leader, not any major natural disaster, not 9/11, the whereabouts of Usama bin Laden, two space shuttle disasters, the surprise launch of Sputnik, NOTHING. Psychic phenomena is about the most documented to be least accurate form of Evidence. So what comes next? Do the cops, prosecutors, judges and other Tools of the Police State actually get to maybe Convict somebody based on some jackass who claims a Direct Link To God saying that he's convinced the defendant is guilty? I mean, a Search Warrant supposedly has stringent rules of evidence just to obtain one, It's like an actual conversation I overheard between a police officer and somebody else, the cop complaining because he wasn't allowed to shake somebody down even though he "knew" the person was in possession of contraband. Asked HOW he "knew" he said "my gut tells me, OK?" NO, Officer, NOT OK. Your gut was probably telling you it was time to take a 10-100 at Dunkin' Donuts. The Constitutional prohibitions against Irrational Hunches being used to obtain search warrants or arrest warrants are there for a reason. It leads to a situation where any cop can search, arrest or kill any person just because he says so. It's purest Lynch Law mentality, on the hoof. And this particular case was in TEXAS? WTF Revisited? Texas whose political options involve voting for somebody endorsed by the General Baptist Convention or one endorsed by the Southern Baptist Convention. Where you'd be loudly condemned to the Everlasting Fire of Hell for wearing an astrological pendant or asking a potential breeding partner "So, babe, what's your sign?" And at least one court is issuing warrants based on "Minority Report" without any of the (shaky) Scientific trappings.

Could it be, Olbermann fired by FOX?

Since the following chain of logic is true, very possible and knowing the "ethical" standards of the American CorporaFascist Empire therefore very probable. Quote:November 05, 2010 12:14 PM What Role Did Comcast Play in Keith Olbermann's Suspension?--UPDATED By karoli There is a double standard at work with regard to Keith Olbermann's suspension, not only between other personalities appearing on MSNBC as commentators, but also at the very top level of the food chain. Comcast now owns MSNBC after their acquisition was completed earlier this year, despite protestations from many of us. A look at campaign finance disclosures for several organizations shows that Phil Anschutz, chairman of Comcast major shareholder and content partner with Comcast, donated large sums of money to the First Amendment Alliance, (How very Orwellian, have we wound back the clock to "1984"? Does the Legal Staff for the "First Amendment Alliance work only for the Rich? What a foolish question, of course they won't defend anybody else's freedom of speech -Jonah) one of the largest outside groups targeting Democrats in the 2010 midterm elections. The Anschutz Corporation, wholly owned by Phil Anschutz, gave $50,000 on 9/24/2010 to the First Amendment Alliance. The two candidates targeted by the First Amendment Alliance? Jack Conway and Michael Bennet. Keith Olbermann gave to Jack Conway's campaign along with Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. In addition, the Anschutz family donated $169,900 to Republican candidates and committees during the 2010 election cycle, according to Open Secrets. Additionally, Comcast Corporation has contributed $125,000 to the Republican Governors' Association in the 2010 cycle (as of 9/30/2010). There's been a lot of chatter about MSNBC policy, and whether Olbermann should have gotten advance approval for his donations to Jack Conway, Raul Grijalva(Targeted, literally, by the Neo-Nazi group "the Minutemen" for taking a stand against their Racist anti-Immigrant policies, they fired shots at his office and have repeatedly threatened him, along with Murdering the American Child Briseña Flores in her home because her surname is Spanish) and Gabrielle Giffords on October 28th. The policy I've seen reads like this: NBC and MSNBC TV require permission of the president of NBC News. (MSNBC.com is a joint venture of NBC Universal and Microsoft.) "Anyone working for NBC News who takes part in civic or other outside activities may find that these activities jeopardize his or her standing as an impartial journalist As opposed to an "entertainer" edit by Jonah because they may create the appearance of a conflict of interest. But not Corporate donations nor the contributions from the Elitist Scum who effectively ARE the corporation- Jonah Such activities may include participation in or contributions to political campaigns or groups that espouse controversial positions. (even though Mr Olbermann made huge sums of Profits for MSNBC by celebrating or opposing very controversial positions) You should (but not "Must" -Jonah) report any such potential conflicts in advance to, and obtain prior approval of, the President of NBC News or his designee." (who insist they have no such moral obligations, far less legal -Jonah) That language clearly says "should" and not "must". Further, anyone

The Census and Original Intent of the Founding Aristocrats

Since we have a lot of loudmouth Know-it-all know-nothings running their collective head, in chorus, paid by the richest men in America to cement the notion of an American Aristocracy based on personal wealth, Who tell us every hour of every day that they, and ONLY They, know the original intent of a group of arbitrarily assigned White Aristocrats they call the "Founding Fathers", a group which includes up to ... actually less than, 100 of the richest men in America. Out of the 3,929,326 MEN and only MEN counted in the first census in 1790. Never mind that even the very tiny INSIGNIFICANT representative sample they define as the "Founding Fathers" never unanimously agreed on any single issue, and that John Adams, one of the Richest of the bunch, granted himself arbitrary powers in a definition of the Sedition Acts to jail people who disagreed with his personal agenda. Or that there wasn't a Majority Consensus on the Bill of Rights, which wasn't included in the Original Constitution. Or that of those 3,929,326 MEN more than half weren't allowed to VOTE for who got to represent them... No Taxation without representation? How about "No REPRESENTATIVE DICTATORSHIP without Representation"? Their "original intent" is considered irrelevant by the Pompous Ass Pseudo-Intellectuals who are trying to force their Elitist (just not actually "elite") agenda on the rest of us. What of the OTHERS who had to bear the burdens of the conflicted and contradictory mandates from the Tiny Minority Even Of The Landed Aristocracy who are arbitrarily assigned the title "Founding Fathers" but not only weren't given the Vote, they weren't even COUNTED. Women, Children, Bonded (slavery through debt) and people Born Slaves weren't counted. Nor were the Native Americans in the territories claimed by the White Aristocratic Tiny Minority. Actually, slaves were counted as "Property" not as human population. Wonderful group of Role Models you Right Wing Extremists have there. In 1860 American Indians were counted, but only those who had "renounced" tribal affiliations, and of course, the sovereignty CONSTITUTIONALLY defined by Treaty (Article VI) which was recognized on paper but virtually never at gunpoint. Nor were these Americans who had given up their tribal rights accorded any citizenship rights until 1911, more than a half century later. The United States in 1790 consisted of the 13 original states and the territories that later became the states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Maine, Vermont, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama. Notice that save for Maine and Vermont, (two French words actually) the other territories have American Indian names. There's a reason for that. Actually "Indiana" was designated as an entirely Indian territory, hence the name. Then number of American Indians IN WHAT WAS THE UNITED STATES at the time was far greater than the number of those Americans counted as "citizens" and a HUGE difference between their population and the fewer than 100 Rich Bitches who are said to be the Last and Only deciders of American Law. So, are we to join their Rush to turn

Wall Street Journal in Anti-Mosque Rant.

Saying that moderate Islam doesn't exist, that al Qa'eda and Taliban operatives would kill anybody who expressed in the Arab Countries any non-extremist position. What a Fat Load Of Shit. Again painting Islam as a monolithic entity, no differences between nations or even PEOPLE. Let's put that in Christian Western Moderate terms yes? Since the Crusades pitted Christian against Christian more often that Christian against Muslim, and every war since then, German chaplains instructing their soldiers in Both World Wars to go into battle screaming "Gott Mit Uns" meaning, God is on OUR side, and the British Chaplains same way instructing their Cannon Fodder to scream "God and King!" as they marched in an orderly fashion through the portals of Hell... There must not be any such thing as a Moderate Christian because the Radicals, like for instance Michelle Malkin, and Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck, would have us all killed if we expressed any form of moderation. Although that IS the ultimate logical end of their truly screwed up mindset. There's an internet rule that nobody is supposed to be compared to the Nazi regime no matter how much their plans for a New World Regime goose-steps right along with the Nazi philosophy. That's a huge benefit for Sarah and Glenn and Michelle and Pam Geller and similar Nazi-think-alikes. Do they consider the import of their making war against ANY religious belief? Especially in the name of what many other churches would consider Fringe Elements in for instance Sarah Palin's AOG church or Glenn Beck's LDS church, or Hannity's Catholic Church. The reason they're writing Slave Owner Thomas Jefferson as being not really a Founding Father is because he actually wrote a treatise on Separation of Church and State. Something they deny was the Holy and Unquestionable "original intent" of the Holy, Saintly and of Course Unanimously Christian (even though the first four presidents and Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams were Deists, not Christian) They're writing off Jefferson not because of his slaves, a position of which they approve, National Burn the Confederate Flag Day 9/12 but because of his position on Religious Freedom implicitly and explicitly being dependent on No National Religion. He lived in Virginia, which before and even after the Revolution exchanged shots with the Catholic contingent in Maryland. Not a coincidence, but the very names Virginia and Maryland reflect the ongoing war in England at the time over Catholic-versus-Protestant. Neither name has anything to do with the Virgin Mary. It's Mary Stewart, Catholic, and Elizabeth Tudor the Virgin Queen of England who never married and officially never had sex, Their bloody little Christian-on-Christian Crime Spree was just one corner of a Vast anti-Christian Christian Crusade which still goes on. Both Virginia and Maryland not only each banned the other's Major Denomination but also Jews, Quakers and Native American religions. Thomas Jefferson opposed that. If the Muslim Countries had even HALF that kind of track record of Militancy there would be probably only two Muslim fellows left in the entire world, playing

How to discuss the “mosque rule” at the Powwow… Suggestions?

The Powwow will be September 25 at Rock Ledge Ranch, "technically" according to the West Side Pioneer, local newsletter, a part of the Garden of the Gods. Which is a sacred site for American Indians. The same people who put this really offensive sign up at Bancroft Park that Old Colorado City was the first "permanent settlement" in the region. Meaning, the First Permanent WHITE Settlement. By the way, there's a town bordering Ft Worth called White Settlement. Name says it all, too. You can get arrested for the crime of "Being, while Black or Brown" but I digress. Neglects the fact that even the Anasazi had settlements throughout the region, most within 300 miles of here. People in our International audience might not think that's close, but in the Western United States, that's known as "right around the corner". Even the migrant tribes had their regular spots that they "migrated" to every year. Much like Rich Folks who have a summer home in the Hamptons and a winter play-house in Vail or Aspen and the beach house in Nassau, and the long term lease on that chateau in Monte Carlo. Only not exactly on a "at whim" basis. But the Garden of the Gods, and the Medicine Wheel at Standing Bear Butte, indeed the entire Black Hills, and Hueco Tanks, and The Iowa Bluffs, all have gotten the status of being places where people can worship freely in the past 32 years. The American Indian Religious Freedom Act was passed in 1978. What Custer was trying to break up at Little Bighorn was a RELIGIOUS GATHERING. A "punitive" expedition because several of the Tribes met on grounds the U.S. Government flatly refused to recognize as neutral. They assigned each tribe a reservation and told them to stay on those reservations. The gathering at Little Bighorn was to make medicine against a white folks encroachment on not only Reservation Land, but holy ground, at Deadwood. By the way, if you buy "Black Hills Gold" you're buying into the murder of the Black Hills, which are regarded as the Heart of the World. It goes beyond the example of the Mount Rushmore statues being like breaking into the Vatican and carving your name on all the walls. There was a Colorado Statute that forbade, on pain of DEATH, practicing the American Indian rituals. The Garden of the Gods is ringed by interloping "private" properties which were built in defiance of the treaties establishing it as a religious site. One of them built by General William Jackson Palmer, Real Estate Thief and Corporate Welfare Recipient Extraordinaire. His idolatrous statue is parked in the middle of the intersection of Platte and Nevada right by Acacia Park. The "good christian" City Leaders who considered and still consider the Indian rituals to be satanic have no problem at all with breaking the commandment about Graven Images and Idolatry when it comes to worship of Murderous Thieves like Palmer and Custer. What's that you said, Jonah? STILL oppose the Religious Freedom of

Swiss refuse to hand over Polanski, US upset, still haven’t handed over Bush

Not trying to minimalize or trivialize date-rape or child molesting, but that's ONE count against Mr Polanski and (at least) Hundreds of Thousands of counts of Murder, including and especially children, against Messieurs Bush, Cheney, Rove, Petraeus, McChrystal, Rumsfeld, Prince, McCain, Kristol, "scooter" Libby, Murdoch, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Dobbs, Mesdames Rice, Malkin, Palin, Bachmann, Coulter and any other Accomplices in the Wars started with, enabled by and continued under the auspices of, blatant acts of Perjury. The charges of War Crimes against these "leaders" and propagandists are consistent with United States policies as expressed during the Nunrberg Trials against officials of the nation of Deutschland and the Vichy Government of France (which had been diplomatically recognized by the U.S.) and "collaborators" including and especially Propagandists, such as Axis Annie, Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw-Haw. Also recognized precedent, in U.S. RECENT history, every single person detained under the vague charge of "unlawful combatant" including those "arrested" in nations with which the United States has no formal extradition treaties nor, indeed, official recognition of their governments as being legitimate. Messieurs Bush and Cheney identified (vaguely) 60 foreign governments who they felt obliged to subject to the same levels of "regime change" imposed on the People of Iraq and Afghanistan. Tit for Tat. What goes around comes back around. When the U.S. "justice" department extradites War Criminals to the Hague, which unlike the Guantanamo Military Kangaroo Tribunals, does NOT have the Death Penalty, then and only then would they even begin to have a legitimate cause for their Crybaby-ass Whining about those bad ol' Europeans not extraditing to the U.S. Concentration Camp/Slave Labor "justice" System. Nationalism explicitly grants sovereignty equally to ALL nations, excluding ANY other nation from that right is not Nationalism, but Imperialism. Under quite a few treaties signed and ratified by the United States Congress and several Presidents, including the U.N. Charter, the Hague Conventions and Geneva Conventions, THIS IS ESPECIALLY AIMED TOWARD THE REPUBLICAN, TEABAG, DOMINIONIST, STATE'S RIGHTS AND OTHER DOUCHEBAG PARTIES who believe they and they alone can interpret the Constitution of the United States, or impose their so-called authority onto other Citizens of the United States or especially onto citizens in Other Nations Article 6 of the Constitution states in the second sentence: This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding. Bet Glenn Beck University never told you punks THAT, did he? Or Limbaugh or Michael "the savage" Weiner or Hannity... Did they? Pat Robertson, maybe? No?

Illinois legislators urge National Guard to patrol Chicago, Constitution says no

Things you learn while cleaning out your spam folder. Get bigger breasts. Get a bigger penis, get a scholarship to the Police Academy. (???) cash in on your GI bill, join the Army, get compensation from the Nigerian Government for being a victim of a Nigerian scam, just give them all your identification and a valid bank account they can Clean out errr.. transfer the funds to... Classic Viagra, not just regular Viagra, no SIR! It's CLASSIC and of course goes well with whatever dope makes your breasts bigger. AND... The Chicago Police have been offered from two Illinois Legislators assistance in the form of National Guard troops. OK so that was on the way to the mail folder on Yahoo. But the story is legit. Now, neither the Chicago Police nor the Illinois National Guard are especially warm to the idea. Mostly because it's a really stupid idea and sounds a whole lot like political grandstanding.. The Klan often make such offers. Just not to the South Side of Chicago (the baddest part of town and if you go down there you better just beware of a man name of Leroy Brown..) because they themselves knew better and though they're given to grandstanding stunts they ain't that crazy. Don't get me wrong, they ARE nut-jobs, just even insanity has an upward limit. One thing the Chicago Superintendent of Police said rings a huge bell, honks a big horn and in general makes a grab for your attention. The police, says the Super, have to function within the Constitution of the United States and have to recognize human rights, like to a fair trial and actual proof of guilt before arresting somebody. Or at least after arresting somebody.

Whose “Original Intent?” The T. Potty?

According to the Beck fundamentalists, "The Original intent of the Founding Fathers" trumps all arguments. But, who exactly are they quoting? So here's a simple how-to on interpreting right wing statements on this. It's the Original Intent of people who were A very small group of very wealthy White Men. Many of them Slaveholders, all of them property "owners." That would be "property taken away from the original owners, at gunpoint and at Public Expense." And any of the Original Owners who objected slaughtered. Also any people who didn't exactly voice an objection to this Corporate Welfare giveaway of their tribal lands would be slaughtered as well, just because it made the killers feel good to do it. Those would be the ones who were not yet able to speak because they were babies. The Elite Group didn't even agree with each other, not one single facet of the Revolution or the formation of the U.S. government and laws was unanimous. NOT ONE. Even the right to free speech, opposed by such "Freedom loving libertarians" as John Adams, who had people jailed for any criticism of his Regime. He threatened to jail his fellow Revolutionaries like Hamilton and Jefferson as well. Not that Hamilton and Jefferson agreed much on anything. The Bill of Rights, in fact, voted down by the majority at the Constitutional Convention. The constitution sans a declaration of Rights was rejected by the People. That's why they're the first ten Amendments. People who were not property owners, not white or not male, even if they had Fought In The Revolution, actually, unlike the Adams family or Revere or Jefferson, who didn't go to the battles and take arms against the British soldiers, forbidden to vote. There was a big ol' stinky issue over Freedom of Religion, to be sure. The Original Intent crowd say that the Very Narrowly Defined Small Group of Rich White Non-Combatants "founding fathers" (Praise Founding Fathers from whom all wisdom flows, praise them all creatures here below, praise them above ye heav'nly host, Praise Washington, Adams and all their ghosts) had quite a lot of Deists in their midst. As in, Not Christian. That would raise the ire of many of Today's Worshippers of the Founding Fathers Myth. In fact it does. We hold these truths to be self evident, that All Men except for debtors, tenants, Indians, blacks, apprentices or bondservants, and of course excluding the WOmen Are created Equal but some are more Equal than others and endowed by their Creator who half of the signatories to this document wouldn't say was Jehovah or that He had anything to do with Christ with certain inalienable rights unless the Founding Fathers held them as slaves, or had liens on outstanding debts owed, which pretty much worked out to be "slavery" and among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness unless, of course, the Almighty Founding Fathers or their anointed replacements over the century decided otherwise. In which case you can F.O.A.D. For those

More people who do not muchly good speak the English tongue…

ren·e·gade ?/?r?n??ge?d/ [ren-i-geyd] –noun 1. a person who deserts a party or cause for another. 2. an apostate from a religious faith. –adjective 3. of or like a renegade; traitorous. Synonyms: Traitor, Snake, Turncoat, Oath-breaker, Treaty Breaker.   John McCain on Press the Meat this morning, sponsored by a Wall Street Powerhouse, Edward Jones Investments. Lying his arse off about how he's bipartisan on the Health Care bill when he joined every single one of his (R) Comrades in voting against it. Apparently in Renegade Republicanspeak, "Bipartisan" means the Democrats have to suck much Republican Ass. Ran as a "Maverick" which doesn't mean anything like "not one of the herd", it means steers claimed by a notoriously lazy Texas free-range rancher named John Maverick. Who didn't bother to brand or earmark any of his steers, just the lead cows. Any Steer or cow following them would be just a part of "His" herd. The Wall Street Bankers who sponsored today's Lie-Fest, their advertisement "If you believe in the Renegade idea of face-to-face with your broker" If you believe your Brokerage is "Renegade" and still deal with them, you really need to deal with the fact that they're going to rob you blind given any chance. McCain's running mate was an idiot from Alaska who also didn't speak English, and didn't know the duties of the job, told a group of schoolkids that it was to "help the senate make laws". Yeah, right. People who don't know the basis of American Law, the Constitution, shouldn't presume to MAKE Law. She also runs with a group of Straight Up Racist Pukes who insist that English be not only the official language of the United States (we don't have an official language, by the way) but that it be the ONLY language spoken. They wish to bring the days back, when Immigrant kids, or Native American Kids, or Native-American-Kids-Whose-Names-And-Primary tongue are Spanish and whose families were not only here during the Spanish territorial days but Many Centuries Before an Italian Mapmaker who had never been to America, Amerigo Vespucci, put his name to two continents and a bunch of offshore islands (Actually the islands FIRST)... These kids, even in the 60s when I was first going to school, would be Punished for speaking their non-english languages on school grounds or even the school bus. The more radical members of "English First" would have it that people not be allowed to speak their own languages even in their own homes. They say that not having English as your first tongue hinders your development in school. Where they get that tainted statistic is beyond my ken. The largest population who don't graduate High School and more importantly don't graduate Primary School are people who don't speak ANY language other than English, and that very poorly. This kind of outright Jingoistic Stupid Racism would give that freak on the bus (and there's always one at least) who demands that two Spanish speaking or Polish speaking or Navajo speaking kids (actually it's a dialect of Athabascan, and

Death of a Democracy

The domestic news is bleak across the board. Brother Jonah has already weighed in on the government's latest post-9/11 power grab. Here's a little more on the subject.   From the Army Times: Beginning Oct. 1 for 12 months, the 1st BCT will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command, as an on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks. IT STARTS NEXT WEEK ...this new mission marks the first time an active unit has been given a dedicated assignment to NorthCom, a joint command established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense efforts and coordinate defense support of civil authorities. IT'S UNPRECEDENTED After 1st BCT finishes its dwell-time mission, expectations are that another, as yet unnamed, active-duty brigade will take over and that the mission will be a permanent one. IT'S PERMANENT They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack. THE POWERS WILL BE UNLIMITED The 1st BCT’s soldiers also will learn how to use “the first ever nonlethal package that the Army has fielded,” 1st BCT commander Col. Roger Cloutier said, referring to crowd and traffic control equipment and nonlethal weapons designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals without killing them. AND AIMED DIRECTLY AT US “If we go in, we’re going in to help American citizens on American soil, to save lives, provide critical life support, help clear debris, restore normalcy and support whatever local agencies need us to do, so it’s kind of a different role,” said 1st BCT Commander, Roger Cloutier. IT'S POWERED BY THE PROPAGANDA MACHINE For the past 130 years, the Posse Comitatus Act, along with the Insurrection Act, has prohibited the government from using the U.S. military for domestic law enforcement. However, the 2007 Defense Authorization Bill allows the federal government to deploy the military here at home basically whenever they feel like it. This new "federal freedom" will most likely be used to limit our Constitutional liberties and suppress dissent. Who's minding the store? How are these bills -- including one that throws out more than 100 years of American history with a single pocket veto -- passing without a whimper? Why don't we know? And why don't we care? In the words of Willy Loman, "Attention must be paid!"

Kucinich reads Articles of Impeachment!

Democrats.com is reporting that Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, is on the floor of the House reading 35 Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush. Finally! Watch it live on C-SPAN right now.   Any one Article would be sufficient grounds to impeach Bush and remove him from office; taken together, the case for impeachment is undeniable.   Even if our gutless leaders never vote to impeach Bush, and I'm too discouraged and jaded to believe they will, it's still fun to hear the charges neatly laid out by an adorable and very earnest Dennis Kucinich!
