Stiglitz made a point not too long ago that resonated with me, that the last bull market preceding the crash was largely fueled by the run-up in the real estate market. That turned out to be fool’s gold. Stiglitz asked, rhetorically, what will replace housing to drive the next bull market? I don’t have an answer, either.
