Traitor, war criminal, Karl Rove still at large, lurking this weekend in Colorado

Courage and ConsequenceMost people would be surprised to learn that Karl Rove is out of prison. You’d think the unceasing attempts to make citizen’s arrests might have prompted a new attorney general to investigate the man known as “Bush’s Brain,” behind the curtains of Dubya’s stolen elections, 9/11, Iraq, the GWOT thru the Wall Street Bailout, ad nauseam. No. Comically, Rove has a major media pulpit and is promoting a book about apparently, the “Courage” to defy US and international law, and “Consequences” he and his cabal have still avoided. Unless he means the courage too few of his critics have shown, and the consequences the world has suffered. Well this Saturday and Sunday Rove visits Colorado. Do you want to see another book signing interrupted? I’d be curious to see how many secret service agents still protect Rove, but frankly, I can’t think that I want anything to do with him. Whatever I could muster, I can just envision his smug face. He wins.

I know it feels embarrassingly pointless, but where better to remind the media that the public awaits an accounting of the past administration’s crimes. I love that Code Pink activists tie Rove to our illegal wars. In prosecuting Bushco, the Obama team would have to charge themselves next. Hence, no arrests yet. At least in this respect Obama is being consistent.

Need an arrest complaint? Code Pink suggests this boilerplate for making a citizen’s arrest, adjusted for the Colorado statute:

Arrest Complaint
In the matter concerning:

?United States of America, plaintiff

US Code, Title 18, Chapter 51, FELONY MURDER

Further, you may also be indicted for other violations of federal code not listed in this complaint.

Any United States Marshall or any authorized U.S. Law Enforcement Officer present is obligated under the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes Title 16-3-201 to take you into custody and bring you forthwith before the nearest magistrate to answer these charges and to advise you of your rights with include:

  1. He’s trying to pump that book. In today’s New Economy, especially as regards new books, all one has to do to get on the best seller list is to sell maybe a couple thousand books.

So we get idiots like Beck and Palin and Hannity and now, Rove, hitting the Best Seller list… which makes for instant propaganda fodder for them. They get their picture and the title of whatever crap they wrote right there at the checkout lines of King Sooper and similarly laid-out stores across the nation. Doesn’t matter that people ain’t buying the books.

Just has to stay on the “bestseller” rack for a week or two or until the Next Big Obscenity hits the racks.

Beck’s book stayed up for almost a month, Hannity did a book just after Rove’s, displaced it in fact. (“courage” only hit number 10 anyway, guess even notoriety can’t get him a starring role…) and Hannity is already off the Top Ten list.

Probably has a lot to do with their intended audience and the way they shun such “Intellekshul” pursuits as reading.

What would be almost as much fun as Perp-walking him, would be to get his book, go to the signing, only beforehand hollow out the pages, and put a dead rat in it…

Or write in the flyleaf “I hired a wino to spit on this page”.

But, yeah, arresting him would be more appropriate.

Maybe publicizing the fact that he’s got publicly (taxpayer) paid bodyguards even though he left his staff position at BushCorp a year before the de-lection.

I mean, he’s got that Ideological Albatross hanging around his neck about privatize this and that and the other thing.

Not that his supporters are all that amenable to actually looking upon hypocrisy and recoiling from it. Shame is a function of Pride, and Honor, and they have d) none of the above.

  2. Yeah, there was a joke about that, the shaman was asked to make George’s head the size of a walnut, Doctor says, “hey, buddy, you got it wrong, I SHRINK heads!”

Cursing that lot is kind of redundant though.
If Purgatory exists, they’ll be getting out about 5 minutes before the end of Eternity.

  3. Let’s get this right:

Karl Rove is NOT, as many have named him, a ‘brilliant political strategist.’

Karl Rove is a CRIMINAL MASTERMIND… and should be addressed and treated as such.

  4. I’ve got a few names for him, starting with Pillsbury Dough Boy, not to be confused with any kind of soldier, then ChickenHawk and murderer by proxy, and the list devolves from there.

It’s hard to adequately describe their crowd without sounding like a poster-child for Tourettes. Far less their actions.
