Oh dear, is this really the best antiwar argument we’ve got? The share of federal spending which goes to war-making IS astounding, and should give the common citizen pause, but how does it speak to the average weapons industrialist attending the 2011 Space Symposium? They’re trickle-down folks! The more money going to science and skilled labor the better. High tech would be happier if 100% of government spending went through them. Plus the only thing worse than antiwar arguments lamenting OUR OWN casualties, IMO worse too than NIMBY, is making it all about how we can’t AFFORD it.

The Myth of Middle Ground
True, the bigpigs already know. They also had their kids with them. The kids to whom they’ve been LYING all this time about several related issues:
Poverty
Poor people being inferior
Black people being inferior
Black or Brown Nations being inferior
Black or Brown Cultures being inferior.
Poverty being caused by “inferiority”
War being for “Freedom”
Freedom “Given to the black/brown/poor folks”

Kids have ears, and eyes, and brains. Now, they have the Internet and a lot more access to people like us who point out to them that Daddy Pig and Mommy Sow are straight up LYING to them.
Remind them every time and every chance we can get.
Questions like: “If your wealth means you’re superior to ME, and I’m obligated to serve YOU, then wouldn’t that mean that YOU are inferior to anybody who has even one more penny than YOU?”
Because people who are taught from infancy that they’re better than others, based on a really arbitrary factor like Daddy being well paid to Kill Other Human Children, tend to loathe and despise the idea that anybody would be better than THEM.
“Is Daddy REALLY better than the fathers of the children he’s being paid to Murder?”
hmmmmm… well, Daddy DID lie to you, didn’t he? Mommy too, and that nice preacher fellow you go to see every Sunday and all your teachers and other “authority” figures, they’ve all been LYING.
“How would Mommy and Daddy and Pastor GoodFellow and Officer Friendly and your Teacher and Scoutmaster LYING to you, STEALING from and even KILLING the poor make them BETTER?”
Make the problem better by standing it on its ear, and seeing how the problem is actually a weapon?
They DID declare an “Information War” where they insist that words like mine are an actual physical attack, right? So that means THEIR words are an actual physical War against American Freedom.
