The UN calling for war crimes investigatons against Israel–This is predictable. I call for war crime investigations on Hamas for firing rockets at Israeli civilians and for using Palestinians as human shields. I won’t hold my breath on the latter investigation.
David, under international law, a blockade is an ACT OF WAR, and as such, the Palestinian people – under international law – have every right to fight back!
Israel has had 60 years to do right by the Palestinian people, but instead has turned to war crimes at every possible moment.
And do you know why? Because Israel cannot exist without the tens of BILLIONS of dollars the US sends their way every year in foreign and military aid. If peace were to ever break out, that aid would end, and so would Israel.
Just today the Palestinians had to pull 95 bodies out of the rubble of a row of buildings, where the IDF ordered the Palestinians to go before shelling those buildings until they collapsed – after the “cease fire”. This is absolutely NO different from Hitler’s army locking Jews in synagogues and burning them to the ground.
So don’t give me any crap about how it is Hamas’ fault for firing what are barely more than bottle rockets in protest of the actions of the NAZI State of Israel!
The problem is Israel has given the Palestinians land and the right of self-determination predicated on peaceful coexistence. After disengaging from Gaza, the rocket fire into Insrael did not cease as had been agreed upon. As for Israel not wanting peace because of a need for foreign aid, this is pure rubbish which doesn’t deserve comment.

My primary objection to Israel’s blockades in Gaza involve the interference of humanitarian aid coming into Gaza. Do keep in mind, however, that the blockades to the north and east are Israel’s own borders. Every country has border guards and Israel has every right to protect her borders. A key reason for the blockade was Hamas sending suicide bombers into Israel and the unending rockets fired into civilian areas of Israel. You don’t hear about any problems with the West Bank and Israel because Fatah has agreed to live in peace with Israel.
Anti-Zionism is the new method of expressing anti-Semitism in a more socially acceptable manner, so go ahead and show everyone what you are all about. You don’t hate Jews, you merely hate Zionists. LOL.

Israel’s blockade of Gaza consists of the northern and eastern borders, which are the borders into Israel. Every nation has a right to do whatever they wish with their own borders, especially when those on the other side of the borders are sending in suicide bombers and trying to smuggle in rockets to then fire into Israel. Indeed, Israel would be INSANE not to take special precautions in guarding her borders under the circumstances. I understand the blockades make life difficult for the Palestinians and nobody wants to see them suffer, however, what other choices does Israel have when they handed Gaza over to the Palestinians with the understanding they would live peaceably with Israel and then suicide bombers and rockets are sent into Israel from the very land Israel just evacuated. It’s a vicious cycle, I know, but, the Palestinians had a chance to start with a clean slate and co-exist with Israel, but, evidently, they do not have the desire to do so.

First, the Jews never “stole” the Palestinians’ land since it wasn’t under their ownership for it to be stolen. Palestine was never a legal entity and, furthermore, Jordan and Egypt “occupied” the West Bank and Gaza from ’47 to ’67 and there wasn’t a peep from the “Palestinians” about wanting “their” land back. Second, my point was that you are quite the hypocritical one living comfortably on land that is clearly dispossessed land. For this reason, I would like to collect money from my friends to pay for a one-way trip for you out of the US, which will enable you to sleep better. Let me know which country you wish to move to. Maybe Iran or Saudi Arabia. LOL

And the US government is enabling their cruelty to others??? What has America itself been turned into? How much destruction does Israel have to accomplish before Americans as a whole begin to take notice?
