The Gaza Zoo massacre- a look at Israeli military propagandist version of events?

gaza zooIsrael blew up a lot of schools in Gaza and destroyed the Gaza Zoo killing many of the animals there with gratuitous gunfire and not just gratuitous bombs. Here is what the Israeli military told the Jewish State back home about why they did this. See Hamas Booby Trapped School and Zoo …As one can see, it is essentially a variation of the old time worn out excuse by both the US and Israeli militaries, that the opposition forces were cowardly and hiding themselves behind children, and in this case of the Israeli Gaza Zoo rampage hiding themselves behind even zoo animals!

In the Vietnam War, the US government used this as its excuse for why they bombed villagers in Vietnamese held areas with napalm. They didn’t mean to hurt anyone that was innocent they always said, but the bad guys were hiding themselves behind women and children and using poor folk as screens! In Iraq, the excuse for destroying places like Fallujah was much the same and now the Israeli military is using the same rationale behind its recent rampages of destruction through Lebanon and Gaza. Same lies, just new uses for them in new places.

Here is another video about this wanton destruction by the Israeli military. IDF kills Gaza Zoo animals ~ destroys children’s theatre… Whose video explanation do you buy? Perhaps the Israeli military version of the Zoo massacre? It certainly has been seen by a lot more people than has the video of the Palestinian zoo keeper.

But let’s go back and think about the Israeli version of events some, shall we? What did the military spokesman tell and show us in the beginning of the video? He showed us a detonator (in the zoo) and started walking alongside some wires. He mentioned that each and every animal in the zoo was booby trapped to kill Israeli soldiers, as the camera pointed to some birds! He claimed that the detonator led out of the zoo and across to a school, one only of 67 destroyed by Israel in Gaza. He didn’t show us the wires leading to the other 66 schools but I guess that was certainly implied as to why it was also so seemingly necessary to destroy all those other 66 schools, too. Soldier safety issues! Good ol’ Israel. They don’t want to do it, but they have to!

But look again! Those wires are just lying out in the open, aren’t they? So is the detonator! How convenient that must be for the Israeli soldiers! Certainly convenient for the Israeli propagandist, that is.

Those stupid idiotic Hamas! They forgot to hide the detonator and wiring away from camera view! Amazing! I thought it was a booby trap, didn’t you? But it’s just sitting there underneath a picnic table in full view!

Check that video out again! Maybe the wires and detonator are NOW out in the open simply because they were uncovered by some strenuous digging by alert Israeli military men? See anything there? No? No digging? No rubble? All out in the open and no obvious areas from where these wires and detonator were dug out? Remarkable!

The Hamas people are evidently soo, soo stupid, that they forgot to hide away their booby trap, their detonator and the wires that led away from it from under the picnic table going down some totally clear passageways all undisturbed by any shovel, and now seen by our so vigilant and alert IDF soldier propaganda guy in uniform! They left all this in plain view for us all now to discover? How nice of them!

So why does the Israeli propaganda team make up such an easy to see fiction? ANSWER- They were selling it merely to a group of fans for the Home Team, that’s why. They know that these folk are not going to question it, and not going to question even such an obvious fiction and pretense by the Israeli military. So they just laid out heir own detonator fully in the open, laid out their own wires lying fully in the open, and began to talk away! No need for anybody to excavate any earth to make it seem plausible to all of us. We’re True believers We Are! We’re for the Home Team, The Jewish State! Who’s amongst us is going to question ‘our troops’? Nobody!

Well, here we are actually questioning this video right now? It just does not add up all that well, does it?

‘Honey, have another falafel with the kids, and I’ll just lay my detonator down underneath the picnic table in case??? Oh, and let me walk down through the wild bird section with the wire and over to the school. I’ll be back in a second. Insha’Allah’ Those dumb Hamas people! Or is it actually the other way around? You decide? Can it just be another Jewish State lie to help hide their meaningful and wanton destruction of other people’s lives? The military lies a lot, you know? I hope so by now….

    Oh this is priceless!! They should get an oscar for thier fictional movie on the zoo. Im sure the animals were hamas terrorist animals as well. And,I suppose all the cement trucks at the main cement factory in Gaza were also booby trapped, along with the cement mixers and equipment Gazans would use to start re-building thir sity ONCE again!

    MEMRI, whose video you posted, ‘cook’, is a notorious Zionist organization that specializes in bad translations, selective translations, and secrecy about its operations. In short, it is part of the Israeli propaganda brigade and I place absolutely no faith in the translation of a brief portion of this speech having been an honest one.

    I am not a Hamas supporter anyway, plus Hamas has little to do with the Israeli foreign policies which are entirely based on hatred of Palestinians no matter who their leadership might be.

    I might also add, that Israel’s efforts to bomb the free speech rights of Hamas literally off the face of the map hardly gives credence to the Zionist idea that Hamas is the only hate movement around in the world. Israel did the same assassination hits on Hezbollah’s TV in Lebanon , too. What if Hamas or Hezbollah were to do the same thing to Tel Aviv communications and media? It would be considered terrorism, right? No answer from ‘ IDF cook’ will be forth coming I do not doubt.

Since you evidently aresuffering from a comprehension problem, allow me to spoon-feed to you, once again, that it is Hamas, not Israel, with a covenant that vows genocide against Israel. Genocide=hate. Israel withdrew from Gaza in order to uphold their end of the land for peace agreement. Shortly after departing Gaza, leaving behind state of the art hospitals and greenhouses,Hamas started shelling Israel with rockets. Rockets=hate. Perhaps the drugs, alcohol and whatever other toxic substances you have ingested have affected your ability to understand basic facts, but, I hope to have been of assistance. What can I say, I’m a giver. 🙂

    Wrong! Israel completely left Gaza. It was a good-faith effort on the part of Israel, ostensibly exchanging land for peace. It would have been pointless and unnecessarily costly and distracting to uproot every Israeli in Gaza and resituate them in Israel only to then maintain a “seige” (sic) on Gaza. The “seige” is a direct consequence of Hamas shooting missiles into Israel the moment the disengagement was completed. 8,000 rockets have been fired into Israel since the withdrawal in 2005. Gaza has become, in effect, a terror base and internatonal law permits Israel to take necessary measures to insure its national security against such a terror enclave. The US has had a similar “seige” on Cuba and Cuba has not been shelling Florida. The UN also supported a similar “seige” on Iraq during the Saddam Hussein regime. Israel has no less right to protect itself. Food, water, medicine is regularly shipped into Gaza, so much so, the UN halted trucks because of any overflow of shipments.

    Wrong, Mr Israeli Military ‘Dan’, it is Israel that is in effect a terror base. That is the whole point of Israel’s invasions of Lebanon and Gaza, which was to make clear that Israel intends to out-terrorize all others.

    The only ‘protection’ that Israel engages in against the Palestinians is to protect the Jewish State from the right of return to the lands the Palestinians were illegally expelled from. It is to ‘protect’ their own criminality that the Jewish State engages in.

Gaza is governed by a terrorist regime that reneged on a land-for-peace deal with Israel when Israel gave up Gaza, territory that Israel is legally and historically linked to, and Hamas started shelling Israel with missiles. International law permits Israel to protect itself against security threats and those measures will be reconsidered when Gaza ceases to be a security threat.

It’s well-documented with Arab corroboration that the vast majority of refugees fled Israel, and were not expelled, out of fear of the impending war, much of that fear stirred up by Arab leaders exhorting them to flee Israel in order to allow the Arab military to defeat Israel, after which they would be able to return to the vanquished land. Didn’t turn out as planned as Israel defeated the Arabs. Israel is a legally established sovereign State, the only nation established in the 20th century that has been approved BOTH by the League of Nations and the UN.

    What a line of total crap. Israel has never had any historical claim to Gaza at all, and the Gaza government of Hamas is less terrorist than the Israeli government itself.

    Jews have a biblical, historical and legal connection with Palestine, including Gaza and the West Bank. This connection was the basis for the League of Nations mandate allocating ALL of Palestine, including Gaza and the WB, for the specific intent of reestablishing Palestine as a Jewish homeland. The League created separate mandates for Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq to accommodate the Arab population.

    Hamas is a totalitarian organization classified as terrorists by the US State Dep’t as well as the EU, England, Australia, Canada, Japan and Israel. Hamas’s charter calls for the destruction of Israel and genocide of Jews. Hamas is descended from the Muslim Brotherhood, which had an alliance with the Nazis.

    International law is not governed by world opinion. The right to self-defense is a fundamental tenet. Since Israel’s founding in 1948, Arab aggression against Israel has forced Israel into military responses.

    I’m for a two-state solution, as are most Israelis and several Israeli governmental administrations. There is nothing good in war and Israel has been in several defensive wars. The Palestinian Arabs have been offered statehood more than 15 times since the Peel Commission’s offer for self-rule back in 1937, each one either rejected outright or ignored. The question is not whether the Israelis want a solution, the question is whether the Arabs want a solution.

On one hand you are claiming that Israel is a secular democracy rather than the Jewish State you always actually defend, and then you use the Bible/ Torah to justify your argument about democracy being the foundation! The Bible has never been a good book to use in defending democracy, Dude. Remember the OLD South and how the Bible was used to defend slavery?

    Israel is both a democracy and a Jewish state. There’s nothing unique nor nothing to defend in this regard. Israel’s population encompasses roughly 100 different nationalities and each citizen is free to practice their religion.

    Every one of the 51 nations comprising the League of Nations at the time voted in favor of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Their Palestine Mandate is legally binding and when the LON was dissolved, the Mandate was transferred to the UN and Article 80 of the UN Charter maintains the legally binding validity of the Palestine Mandate to this day. The UN has, in effect, reaffirmed a Jewish homeland in Palestine with UN Res. 181.

    The preamble of the League of Nations mandate declared:

    Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have also agreed that the Mandatory should be responsible for putting into effect the declaration originally made on November 2nd, 1917, by the Government of His Britannic Majesty, and adopted by the said Powers, in favor of the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, it being clearly understood that nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.

    The British and Jewish settlers did not abide by that ‘mandate’, and eventually Jewish settlers broke that ‘mandate’ altogether by simply terrorizing eh Palestinians off of their own lands.

    Further, the League of Nations was done away with because of its support for European imperialism which this is a primary example of. What gave the League of Nations the right to declare rules for the Palestinians concerning their own Homeland?

    Let’s face it, this so-called ‘mandate’ was nothing more nor less than a British Empire made statement of its time. The “League’ merely rubber stamped it.

    The British did not abide by the Palestine Mandate by arbitrarily and wrongfully cutting off nearly 80% of Palestine and giving it to the Hussein family of Saudi Arabia as a “gift” for their support in WW I. That land today is known as Jordan, whose population is primarily Palestinian. The nearly 1.5 million Arabs living in Israel today include many of those Arabs/Palestinians who lived in the area when Israel was being reconstituted. Additionally, Palestinian Arabs living in the area pre-Israel were offered another homeland, in addition to Jordan, by the UN in 1947, which they rejected. As for Jews “terrorizing” Arabs, this is historically counterfactual. Jews had been the victims of Arab and Muslim terror dating back to the Moslem invasion of Palestine through the Hebron Massacres of 1929 and Jewish pogroms of 1936-1939. David Ben-Gurion and other Israeli officials implored the Arabs to join them in Israel and help contribute to its growth and success.

    The precise opposite led to the League of Nations’ demise. It was powerless to stop Italian, German and Japanese expansionism leading to World War II.     WW1 was a very big imperialist crisis by itself, and the League of Nations merely supported the imperial powers that won that war. That got the League into quick trouble.

    World War 2 was yet another war caused as imperialist nations fought among themselves over control over the rest of the world.
