What message is the media conveying by sensationalizing threatening phone calls and letters being received by US legislators in the wake of passing the health care bill? A chief element of the story is strangely missing, namely, WHO is making them. Death threats and inciting violence are criminal acts. News reports about crime usually don’t conclude without reassurances that law enforcement is pursuing the perpetrators. In this case, the media seems satisfied to blame right wing extremists, as if such acts is unpreventable, for Democrats to dodge like flaming arrows from an enraged populace –so called. This is fearmongering by a corporate media complicit in trying to block health reform.

It’s like when somebody is called an “intellectual” and usually in a condescending way. It’s an adjective that means “of the mind” and is almost synonymous with “mental”. A downtown bar has been closed today because of continuous Substance Abuse (alchohol and tobacco being the most abused drugs there are) and criminal behavior by HomeFull Individuals.
So here’s my proposal, since City Hall was so quick to pass judgment on the Tent City inhabitants, maybe they should go to every HomeFull Encampment, starting with the Gated Communities, and start dragging the HomeFull Residents out of their dwellings, force them into Rehabilitation programs and take all their possessions and their houses and destroy them, and of course, take all their pets to the “humane” society to be immediately slaughtered, just like they’re doing with the Tent City residents.
Since, you know, there’s far and away more evidence that the HomeFull are criminals, substance abusers and have some serious anger control and other mental health issues.
You wouldn’t catch the Gag-Zette or other Pro-Business Propaganda Profiteers mentioning the FACT that the HomeFull are implicated in the Vast Majority of crimes in this city or any other.
