British Army say Native mutineer Talib Hussain “cowardly”

Because, you know, shooting at highly organized heavily armed groups of Known Killers is never the action of somebody with courage.
The Ministry of Defence propagandist disguised as a BBC writer also made clear that the invaders killing civilians, especially children, in no way equals the horrendous the crimes of “terrorist” brigands who resist the Noble Rule of the New World Imperial Order and actually shoot back….

“it is ridiculous to suggest that we are engaged in suicide attacks or are deliberately killing civilians.

“Insurgents and those who are against the coalition mission in Afghanistan routinely make false and exaggerated claims and so care must be taken not to accept their accounts at face value.”

Like the video evidence their coalition Partners are trying to suppress of the MURDER of 120 civilians, mostly children, in Granai, by those same Coalition Partners. Some exaggeration can only be expected from Imperialist Terrorists like the Defence Ministry and their Coalition Partners in the U.S. Military.

It’s also worthy of note that the two Officers (misidentified as “soldiers” in the report…) were from Britain and Northern Ireland (but with a distinctively English name) respectively, and the sole Native soldier, Cpl Arjun Purja Pun, actually from Nepal, all of them members of the Royal Gurkha Rifles, fighting under the banner of the British EMPIRE but allegedly, fighting for the “freedom” of the Afghan peoples to bow down and lick the boots of the Invad errr… “liberators”.

The Defence Ministry will of course LIE THROUGH their teeth at any opportunity, because they’re fighting a Murderous War of Conquest for such noble entities as British Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, and Halliburton. Wonderful fellows and their (Imperial) tradition of using the Gurkhas as paid assassins is still being upheld.

Ron Kovic, Private Nation and the mystique of the Token Cripple

Because I get the same kind of crap in lower doses than Kovic and Max Cleland did and still do. When you become disabled at work you’re supposed to be grateful for any crust of bread thrown your way, and condemned as a whiner if you point out the guilt of the parties who brought you to that state. With war veterans it’s worse.
Ron Kovic and Max Cleland were “just fine” in the eyes of the Pentagon, until they started opposing the war, then they were and still are demonized. The Pentagoons, while Cleland was fighting to survive, leaving 3 of his limbs on the cutting room floor, (mixed metaphor there, cutting room is about films) his commanders were filling out paperwork exonerating themselves from any blame for what they had done to him. Like Kovic, and Private Nation, and John Kerry, and Flight Lt Joseph “Country” MacDonald, he was treated with the military equivalent of Honor as long as he consented to be the Token. The Warrior returning and still supporting a lost war. Touching, Heartwarming, (heartburn) but once they chose to speak out, save for Private Nation, they were the darlings of every parade, supporting sending even MORE young people off to kill other people in other lands, other mother’s sons… except for Private Nation. Who was Private Nation, you ask?

He was one of my ancestors. He, too, fought for the losing side, a hundred years earlier. Late in the war, the Civil one… hence, he wasn’t fighting to kill and die in Foreign Lands… he took a Minie ball upside his temple, tore off a chunk of his skull. Surgeon told him, “Private, that’s going to kill you eventually” and sure enough, 80 years later, it did. But he was a Confederate. He was fighting for the “states’ rights” cause. You know the one, the States’ Right to deny Liberty or even the definition of Humanity to HUMAN BEINGS based solely on the shade of their skins, and to deny them that Liberty before they were even born. And to use State Funds and State Police Powers to ensure that they remained in Slavery. In short, he was fighting not for States’ Rights, but for States’ WRONGS.

In VietNam, and now Iraq and Afghanistan, the Slave Owners live off premises, but it’s still the same concept. Still sending in the Private Nation and the Ron Kovic of the modern age. And if you get pieces of you blown off, you’re supposed to accept it, be rolled around in the parades like a Good Little Cripple, patted on the head and sternly warned not to say anything at all against the regime.

If Gunnery Sgt Nick Popavitch, proudly supporting the military that cost his eye and, really, their honor and his… If he ever stands up and says it’s wrong he won’t be their Tame Token Cripple anymore, and can expect His Comrades will turn on him like a pack of starving wolves on a pork chop. That’s the “freedom” they’re fighting. For. Against.

Private Nation never repented of his service to the cause of Slavery. Many people in the South feel that his “sacrifice” should be honored, but, you’ll notice, only those American Southerners whose ancestors were the Slave Owners, not those who have the slaves for ancestors.

Does the magnitude of the loss of limb or capacity or eye make the Cause of Slavery RIGHT? Turn it around and look at it from the perspective of the arbitrarily chosen “enemy”.

Does a Taliban soldier with pieces blown off of him, make the cause of the Taliban right, or wrong? What about an Afghan or Iraqi Civilian with pieces blown off him/her?

Is the measure of the human suffering of the human being, from whichever side, the True Measure of righteousness? For the ones who exploit the Token Cripple mystique, even using the wounds and disabilities of the wounded as Recruitment.. (that’s the nature of Military Parades, by the way, not to honor the dead and wounded, but to get more kids sucked into “serving”) According to the assmunches with that philosophy, yeah.

But, gentle reader, you decide. Private Nation was paraded every Confederate Memorial Day. Yeah, they actually did that. There wasn’t an Official Confederate Army into which they were trying to recruit the younguns. But there was always the Klan.

I can’t be ashamed of that heritage. Because I didn’t do the crimes nor do I support them. God-Damn if I’ll be proud of it either.

One final thought. Hopefully to tie it together. You know how some Veterans who are still in Denial (Pvt Nation until he died) say that only those who went to the wars can criticize? Kind of like “Only Mafia Hitmen can sit on a jury in a murder trial” but… what of those who DID go to the wars and criticize? Why the sudden dumping of them into the trash bin of history? Especially when their former Masters told them and still tell us that they fought for “freedom” especially of speech. “Them Soldiers fought for YOUR freedom of speech, how DARE you use that freedom?”

What about George Bush, no, the OLDER one, GHW… who was simultaneously tearing down the names and reputations of Ellsberg, Kovic, Cleland, Kerry, Country Joe (and the Fish) MacDonald, every man-jack of the VVAW, while using his influence to keep his own Junior out of the war from which both were profiteering?

What of Junior, and the Other ChickenHawks? If we call the ChickenHawks by their proper title of ChickenHawk, highly paid Billionaire Professional Liars like Rush Limbaugh accuse us of Hate Speech. Just applying the same logic but with a better twist is all.
If only those who fought can criticize, then only those who fought can START wars, or support them for that matter.

Better yet, none of them should start or support the wars either.
Sherman said “War is Hell” but he was wrong. War is Murder. Pure and simple, and making war is a crime against everybody.
Protesting against it isn’t even Officially a crime, but they sure as Hell punish people for it. Even if the people they’re punishing actually fought in those wars. “Double Standard” doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Traumatic Brain Injuries and Statistical Manipulation

This has a two part trigger, for me, I saw a bus stop sign saying that 1 in 5 returning soldiers have TBI and a BBC headline about “stocks fall on manufacturing data”, the last being a poorly constructed sentence that can be read two ways, manufacturing as a noun or as a verb transformed to adjective. Either way it would be accurate, recent events on Wall Street show they’ve been manufacturing the data for a long long time.
But with the TBI example, we get some really complex thought-lines from the one sentence. Is that perhaps 20% of ALL returning military personnel? Even with that 20% being limited to Combat Infantry personnel that would be a shocker. And you KNOW the Army would make it minimal. They’ve been treating (and getting busted doing it) TBI as “underlying personality disorders with onset prior to service” which means the Pentagoons are Covering Their Collective Poopy Butt.

That gives them the opportunity to give the soldiers thus affected anywhere from an “Unfit for Service – Psychiatric” Honorable Discharge BUT, since it’s not officially service connected, they don’t have to pay a dime to the broken soldiers. Just throw them away and holler “NEXT!”… To Bad Conduct or Dishonorable discharges complete with Prison Time if their injuries, or battlefield-induced psychoses caused by an overdose of combined Conscience and Unconscionable Deeds they’re ordered to commit, cause them to commit “crimes” like telling their Commanding Officer to fuck himself and go kill the “enemy” civilians himself if he wants them dead so damn bad. That’s called “mutiny” and punishable by death at the highest level or “insubordination” and punishable as a Federal felony at the lowest.

By denying TBI and PTSD claims the Pentagoons can handle a lot of the symptoms of both as crimes, to be punished, rather than as symptoms of damages caused by the Pentagon Mission.

They can also punish the soldiers for “malingering” – faking illness to get out of performance of their duties… if they report the symptoms to Medical Personnel and Medical, who are under orders from their “superiors” (which would make themselves “inferiors”, something the military discourages you mentioning) and if those orders pointedly Exclude diagnosing PTSD or TBI, that means the Medical Personnel themselves would be required to report the soldier for “malingering”.

They did that crap with Agent Orange victims too, and still do. File an A.O. claim and they’ll investigate YOU as a criminal rather than Monsanto, Dow and Union Carbide…

That leads to the Other Interpretation of the statistic. If “Soldiers” is limited to the Army, possibly the Marines, that’s still the largest chunk of Military personnel and would mean possibly 37% of returning Army and Marine Corps being affected. That’s one in three instead of one in five.

Be All That You Can Be, as the lying ass recruiter slogan used to say.

Pentagoons arrest Army Spc Bradley Manning in Global War On Truth

For providing the footage of the “Suicide By Cop” Helicopter Murders of Reuters reporters and civilians in Iraq. The person who snitched him off for money ,a former high-profile hacker, Adrian Lamo, said he didn’t want to “obstruct justice” as in, actually have Murderers punished for their crimes. The BBC report also falsely claims that the group of CIVILIANS murdered by the Helicopter High-Tech Hit Men “contained some Armed Men” even though the Murderers and their accomplices didn’t bring forth any such evidence. Just when I thought I could count on the BBC to put out a report unbiased by the Pentagon Warmonger Thugs.

handed his name to US authorities because of concerns over US national security and because he did not want to be found to have been “obstructing justice” in the course of any investigation.

“National Security”? NONE of the victims provided a threat to the security of the United States.
God-Damned Lying Prick. So when does the PROOF of the FACTS that the U.S. Army is on an unregulated murder spree in Iraq and routinely murders CIVILIANS, then LIES about their murderous actions, become a “threat to National Security”?

The Army commits heinous War Crimes and dares the people to provide evidence of their crimes, then when somebody IS man enough to provide the evidence, they have their PIG comrades in the FBI and Homeland “security” arrest the man.

Bradley Manning is the hero of this affair, and those who MURDERED civilians, whose victims included CHILDREN, are Cowardly Skulks.

Some “Operation Enduring Freedom” they’ve got going there. Must pretend that we’re over defending America and liberating the people. Lying sack of putrid decadent bloodstained shit.

Teabag solution to AfPak gun shortage

TeaBags, Militia, Minutemen… get off your “Patriot” arse and donate your rifles to the Army. Uncle Sam needs YOU(r rifles)!
You silly bastards say you bought them, and keep buying more, for the “defense” of America, right? Against OTHER AMERICANS of course.
But the Army says it needs more high powered rifles, you know, the ones that you buy to make yourselves feel less pathetic and weak and victimierrr ummm.. “More Macho”.(strong hint: you can’t buy manhood… if you could George Bush and Karl Rove and Glenn Beck would have already bought up all the available supply.) My cousin Hank was assigned to a detail burning a warehouse filled with New, still-in-the-packing-grease AK47s in Iraq after GulfWarz One.

One of several. They put Willy Peter (W. P. = white phosphorous) which burns hot enough to melt concrete, throughout the warehouse.
For the longest time the Russians were practically giving them away, $50 to offset shipping and handling + a promise that you would use them to make trouble.

People sell them at gun shows starting at $200 apiece.
Usually, the Pentagon pays premium prices for essentially Garbage. Like the M16. I fired that one in the Air Force. Piece of Shit doesn’t do it justice. One reason was the M1 Garand and it’s derivatives, like the M14, could chamber and fire Russian ammunition. Which is a couple of microns shorter in the shell than the American .30 caliber. More or less. The shell is smaller, the slug isn’t. Bottom line, if a GI captured an AK in the many many many Non-Declared Wars like VietNam, Algeria,, Korea, etc.
It would be extra weight to carry around because once you popped off the remaining shells in the magazine, your Government Issue .30 cal rounds wouldn’t fit the chamber.

Russian ammo was a subscription-only service.

Part of the selling points for the M16 was that nobody else’s ammo fit it. You buy the rifles for an ungodly expensive price, then you sell the immortal souls of all your soldiers to Colt Arms for the Purina Gun Chow.

So, now, the Army in it’s Infinite let-us-buy-bullshit Financial Wisdom, discovers they need new guns. Those of you who bought Korean and Algerian era M1 and M14 rifles for cheap once the Army had Reduction In Force measures and dumped them onto the Surplus market, you know those rifles still worked and still DO work perfectly for their assigned tasks. Which is of course Killing People. There’s a bunch of Mausers, in the same caliber used by the AK, made for trade to the Spanish Civil War, you can buy for 25-40 bux apiece if you buy them by the hundred lot. Still work perfectly. The Afghans and the Pakistan traders had a field day with them using them against the Soviets. Probably about half the sniper rifles being used against the Invaders and Occupiers oops I mean “Liberators and Nation-builders” are of that grade.

Mauser, unlike Colt, NEVER made anything that was a cheap piece of shit.

The Army was paying (in 1979) $700 per each for M16 rifles new in the package.
Colt made a “killing” on them and by selling them to our “satellites” like VietNam and the Puppet Shah Mohamed Reza Pahlavi. The marketing line: You want Our Military Support, you buy Our Hardware.

Didn’t work for those WW2 mess kits, you know the ones? They were designed to fit on your web belt rather than any practical functionality. They’re an oblong almost ovoid shape instead of round, which would be an actually intelligent piece of engineering. The War Department also bought about 10 of them for each GI during the war. You can’t cook in the skillet portion of it, well, you can, but it will wind up making the GI chow taste even worse. Because of the shape, uneven heat distribution.

Soldiers in Algeria and VietNam would buy the French mess kits which are actually round. Thank God for a nation whose National Pastime is cooking.

The appropriate answer to “Who shit in YOUR mess-kit?” well, the War Department did. Before they were even made.
And the same with the rifles.

So, all you “Patriots”, do the Right (wing) thing. Give the Army your AK47s that you bought for cheap on the surplus market, and your M1 and M14 rifles you bought the same way. You got several Taxpayer Subsidized price breaks on them. Don’t forget to give them your shells. Purina Gun Chow is mighty expensive.

Otherwise the Army will do what they usually do and get Ripped Off by the “defense” contractors. Ripped off for OUR tax money.

You remember Taxes, right? The stuff you’re opposed to even though the Military you love so much is the main drain on Tax money? Yeah, THOSE taxes.

I plumb reckon, however, that you ain’t gonna also ENLIST or anything like that. How foolish of me to actually consider the notion that you ChickenHawk Losers would do something like that. You prefer to hang around in America, waving your machine guns and threatening American Liberals. Because your ChickenHawk Propaganda leaders at DumFox Noose Nutwerx assured you that Liberals are unarmed and also weaklings. Guess it’s easier trying to make war on people you think won’t shoot back, RIGHT?

Summation: You sorry bastards want a war, you want to kill, but you don’t want to give YOUR service or YOUR money over to the maintenance of the Wars of Conquest which benefit none but your Corporate Masters. So for the first time in your miserable misspent lives, do the Right Thing and send them your guns.

It’s the least you can do. Your kids will breathe easier knowing that Daddy isn’t going to get into one of his Screaming Fits about Liberals and accidentally (or perhaps not) shoot them.

It’s much easier to breathe when you don’t have bullets in your lungs.

Well well Military can’t find its copies of videos from helicopter-shooting of two Reuters reporters

Even though the videos would have been taken through the onboard computers of the helicopters involved. In order to erase that much data, one would have to “zero out” the drive on which the videos were stored. And, any other drives onto which the videos were copied.

“We had no reason to hold the video at (Central Command), nor did the higher headquarters in Iraq,”

Other than, perhaps, because it showed Army Helicopter Pilots deliberately targeting civilians…

Hanzlik said in an e-mailed statement. “We’re attempting to retrieve the video from the unit who did the investigation.”

They DID, however, show it to investigators from Reuters wanting to know what the hell happened to their reporters 3 years ago.

The good news is, the video has been leaked to at least two websites,

The July 12, 2007, attack has been reported before. But Web site Wikileaks.org on Monday posted the video shot from one of the Apache helicopters, putting it on “collateralmurder.com” site.

Now, when the Army showed Reuters the videos of their employees being summarily Executed it was done “off the record”. and they wouldn’t allow Reuters to have a copy of it, not even heavily Redacted.

gives whole new meaning to “blow ‘n’ go”. We kill you then split.

So now the Army is saying, according to the gentleman and scholar Officer quoted first, that out of all the copies they made, on various computers, including the copy shown to Reuters, they can’t find one to compare to the leaked video. Which is also according to the Army is probably authentic. Just, you know, they don’t want to CAN’T yeah that’s the ticket Can’t prove it.

Now, the Military Procurement rules forbid procuring anything for free. They have to contract the procurement for each item, at quantity, and show in triplicate how much they paid for it.
The practical upshot of that is they wouldn’t have a free operating system. For Pay Only. Windows probably. Also Mac, perhaps enterprise editions of Linux, UNIX the daddy of them all.
But probably microsux.

I’m reminded of that scene in South Park where the U.S. general is presenting the plans to the assembled troops for the coming war against Canada.
The 3D hologram starts up, sputters, dies. General yells “Goddam Windows 95! Bring me Bill Gates!” They bring in Gates, who starts to offer some bullshit explanation, general pulls out his service M1911A ACP and blows his head off.

Now, I know that they teach the soldiers some really BAD freakin’ computer habits, meaning Windoze from Microsux. Which would leave traces in three different directories, at least, two of them hidden so they can’t be easily erased. And that would be on each computer which hosted the video. Don’t believe me, because I could just as easily be bullshitting you, God knows a whole lot of people DO. Try it out. Spend a few bucks and get an “email washing” program, or just use DiskEdit from the Nortons (Symantec) utilities on every modern version of Winblows. Go online and read the user help instruction pages for any program that does that.

Or you could trust me. But it would be God-Damned impossible for the Army to simply LOSE that many files. They use a variation of this same Anti-Microsoft dissertation in every court case where they put computer files in evidence.

So as usual They Be Bullshittin’.

In other news, Penta-goner caught syphoning funds to his Blackwater Comrades.

Using Blackwater and other Private Contra Mercenary Babykillers to run a spy operation. I bet we’re not going to get many details of it but I also bet it involves Torture Centers. The Merc perverts enjoy inflicting pain on bound and helpless prisoners as much as they enjoy killing kids.. And when the prisoners ARE kids they get double the pleasure. Oh, what Noble and Great persons are these Contractors! Let us all join in the praise heaped upon the self-titled “New Templars”!

Cops feasting on the corpses of their fallen comrades.

The Pentagon shooter, and the shooter at a Nevada courthouse, had guns that were auctioned off by the Memphis Police Department.
Stupid Criminals! They can get really high quality guns at the crack-house down the street, and cheaply, because a lot of really stupid citizens believe that having expensive and easily traded stuff like Guns laying around their houses will deter crime rather than invite people who want the expensive goodies and know how to break into houses and are willing to do so.
But the Memphis cops, even after it gets their comrades shot, still insist that it’s a good idea. They say it saves taxpayers money.

“You can see them
out for dinner
with their piggy wives
clutching forks and knives
to Eat the Bacon”

You know, if guns aren’t outlawed, ALL the outlaws will have guns.

Oh, and the Memphis Police spokesman, the one who DEFENDS this as a money saving deal, How much of that money made its bloodstained way into HIS pockets?

How many of these “Police Auction” guns have managed to kill Citizens, you know, the ones the Police say they protect?

We only hear about two cop-shooting incidents, what about the others? How many of them are in the hands of dangerous Idiots like the Tea Party or the Minutemen? Could it be that the guns used to slaughter the AMERICAN Child Briseña Flores, age 9 of Arivaca AZ and her AMERICAN father…came from similar actions, rather than from the MinuteMurderers using stolen guns bought at the same Crack-house where they bought their dope?

The MinuteFreak leader who pulled the trigger on young Briseña Flores, age 9, DID in fact mention that their motive for invading the Flores Home and shooting the family, two of them (and especially Briseña Flores, age 9) Fatally, was they hoped to find large amounts of drugs, money and guns which they could take and use for their little old Anti-American Terror Spree.

That’s significant because, really, there’s not a lick of difference between that and what the Memphis Police are doing.

Again, just because it’s really damned important to note this, Are the Memphis Cop guns being used in anti-American Babykilling like the murder of Briseña Flores, age 9 of Arivaca AZ?

I like pointing out the disgusting hypocrisy of the Baby-Killing so-called “conservatives” especially since they object so strongly to being called “babykillers”. If they object to it so much they could, you know, just quit killing Kids.

Of course, and you Simply KNEW there would be an “of course”, that would mean ending their Baby-killing wars for profit and their Baby-killing opposition to Health Care.

Update: Person who shot Pentagoons (allegedly) Dead

AFTER it was reported that none of the three, either the PIGS or the shooter, suffered life threatening injuries. They’re probably hustling him off to a USMC or USAF or CIA Torture Center, where the Torture Freak PERVERTS can have their sick sadistic way with him indefinitely and without him ever having Habeus Corpus, a trial, anything like that.
The Sickest part of that is some of our Local Right Wing “Back the Badge” piglovers are going to say “so what? Anybody who rebels against the Empire DESERVES to be tortured!”
They’ll probably wrap it with Bible quotations so they can go to church Sunday and pretend to be Godly, too. Too bad the Pentagon PIGS didn’t die. They’d be in HELL where they belong.

I can easily see how somebody who has “enjoyed the hospitality” of the Police State Goon Squads would want to bust a cap through one of their Snouts. Something about being beaten and tasered while handcuffed could bring out that reaction in the most saintly of us.

Some of the sanctimonious Hypocrites will criticize me even mentioning that. “Give place, for we are holier than thou”.

Then the Smug “christian” bastards will turn their Pig Minions loose to commit further Hate Crimes, all without any kind of actual judicial review. The Pig Chaplains and the Army Chaplains will be the worst of the lot, they sell not only their own souls to the god of War in the name of “serving” the God who made us all, but the souls over whom the Antichrist Army gives them leadership.

It’s why I don’t attend Church. Because I know that the Churches in this town or any other will worship the Pigs as though they were angels from heaven instead of, as they actually are, Demons in human form.

The worst part of it would be after the service, when some PIG would want to shake my hand and pretend that he considers himself to be my Brother In Christ… when any other hour of the week he would cheerfully beat me down while I’m handcuffed. (I speak from experience here) and every Pious Hypocrite from the Pastor on down would back him up on it.

I’ll not match their hypocrisy with hypocrisy on my part. I’ll not pretend to believe that they have any kind of Christian love or brotherhood about them.
They devour the houses of widows and orphans, and for a pretense make long prayers.

(and want to shake your hand and pretend they love you as a brother)

G7 vow to cancel Haiti Debt…

30 years too late. Mighty white of them.
Swiss courts delayed announcing their decision, hours before the Earthquake, to reinstate the money stolen from Haiti by the Dvalier family, with the help of the CIA and Pentagon, and Swiss banks along with other multinational banking Corporations, to the Duvaliers. Not to Haiti. One Swiss official said that it’s customary to wait several weeks before announcing court decisions.

My take on it is that G7 and Credite Suisse and the IMF and World Bank would have been perfectly content keeping Haiti twisting in the wind forever or until the Haitian People collectively sold themselves back into odious hateful humiliating Slavery with the condition that they every morning en-masse they would have to issue a sincere apology for ever declaring themselves to be a free people.

American barbeque and Fox assholes like Scissor Bills’ O’Reilly

FOX News
Ex-soldier bragged about Iraqi rape, deaths then celebrated at a barbeque from Reuters. “Iraqis were horrified by the crime, one of a series of incidents involving U.S. soldiers that strained relations with the Iraqi government. But the onset of Green’s trial three years later is not resonating with most Iraqis, observers there say. The incident was portrayed in the 2007 movie “Redacted” by director Brian De Palma, who complained the film was censored by the studio. Its graphic images shocked many viewers.”

From wikipedia we read that…

‘Commentator Bill O’Reilly has called for protests of Redacted and against Mark Cuban. O’Reilly claims that the film demeans American soldiers and may incite violence against them, and he has called on ticketholders to bring signs to Dallas Mavericks games and all theaters showing the movie, stating ‘Support the Troops’.[18] Mark Cuban has responded, saying “The movie is fully pro-troops. The hero of the movie is a soldier who stands up for what is right in the face of adversity… I think that the concept that the enemy will see these films and use it as motivation is total nonsense. We have no plans of translating these movies to Arabic or other middle eastern languages…It’s really easy to hate, its really hard to think issues through on their own merits. Anything that makes people think about issues is a good thing.”‘

You can see the film Redacted online for free and it is well worth it. Don’t let these right Wing creeps like Bill O’Reilly get away with what you can see or not see. It never got a chance at your local cinema but most good films never do either. There are just far too many American idiots like O’Reilly out there and unfortunately, many of them get their marching orders from Fox and Murdoch, if not their actual salaries like Master Scissor Bill himself does.

DIME weaponry? Is this the Pentagon’s idea of a humanitarian weapon?

dimeDr. Mads Gilbert, a Norwegian doctor who gave medical treatment to the wounded in Gaza when this Palestinian concentration camp was assaulted by the Israeli military, has an excellent interview recorded on Grit TV. Of great interest is where he discusses the Israeli-Pentagon use of DIME weaponry during that conflict, within the first few moments of this video report. He posits the idea that DIME is somehow seen as being a ‘humanitarian’ weapon of choice by the Pentagon? Check it out and see why he believes that is what they actually think? Why not send the cornmeal in, instead of sending in the troops, setting up ‘no fly zones’, and spending money on ‘pirate control’? A.N.S.W.E.R.’s March 21 MARCH ON THE PENTAGON to mark the sixth year of the War in Iraq will be directed not only at the US Department of Defense, but at the war profiteers for whom 2007 was a record year, among them Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and KBR. In Colorado Springs the merchants of death can be visited on one corner.

On March 21, 2009,
March on the Pentagon and the Corporate War Profiteers

Department of the Defense HeadquartersThe March on the Pentagon on Saturday, March 21 is shaping up to be a dramatic and highly significant demonstration. Many thousands of people are coming to Washington, D.C. to make their voices heard.

March 21 will culminate in a dramatic direct action where hundreds of coffins—representing the multinational victims of militarism, Empire and corporate greed—will be carried and delivered to the headquarters of the Corporate War Profiteers and Merchants of Death.

From the Pentagon, we will march to the nearby giant corporate offices of Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin Corporation, General Dynamics and KBR (the former subsidiary of Halliburton).

The march will start close to the State Department in Washington, D.C. (assemble at 12 noon at 23rd St. and Constitution Ave. NW).

These are the Corporate War Profiteers and Merchants of Death. They are the vultures who profit off the death and suffering of the people of Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine, and off of the thousands of U.S. soldiers and marines who have died or been wounded in these wars of aggression. They are anti-worker and anti-union.

The march will be led by a large contingent of veterans and family members of veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and from earlier conflicts.

Militarism and Corporate Capitalism
We will march on their slick-and-shiny corporate offices that are located less than a mile from the Pentagon. Their location in the very shadow of the Pentagon speaks volumes about the intimate connection between militarism and corporate capitalism.

When the Pentagon brass retire, they rotate out of their Pentagon offices and directly into the Corporate boardrooms and office suites of the Death Merchants. It is a very cozy and very profitable relationship for the elites—in and out of uniform. They make the profits, others do the bleeding.

Last year was a great year for the Corporate War Profiteers and Merchants of Death. Profits soared even as the rest of the economy neared collapse. The CEOs of the four corporations that we will be visiting on March 21 received more than $319 million in compensation in 2007 alone (and remember, that’s just for four individuals). “We the People” paid the bill for the high tech weapons that were used against occupied people in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine. The Corporate Executives laughed all the way to the bank while grieving parents and children buried their loved ones from Baghdad to Kabul to Gaza to Detroit.

A quick examination shows that the CEOs of the Military-Industrial Complex contributed to both the Democratic and Republican Party candidates in almost equal amounts. They favor a system that ensures that politicians will come and go every four years but the military machine—that fusion of industry, banks and the Pentagon brass—will remain as is.

We Need Jobs & Schools – Not War!
The same banks that are being bailed out to the tune of trillions of dollars even while they foreclose families who can’t pay their mortgage debts are double-dipping from the national treasury by making huge profits in their investments in Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and KBR.

War is just good business for these corporate executives. Every F-16 bomber, attack helicopter, cruise missile and Drone bomber is a source of profit. If the wars stopped they would be out of business.

The people of this country are fed up with the status quo. They want decent-paying jobs, and affordable health care and housing for all. Students want to study rather than be driven out by soaring tuition rates. People want a complete—not partial—withdrawal of ALL troops from Iraq. They want the war in Afghanistan to end rather than escalate. They are increasingly opposed to sending $2.6 billion each year to Israel.

People are coming to Washington, D.C. on March 21 from college campuses, high schools, and cities and towns throughout the United States.

It is time for real change. Unless the movement for change stays in the streets, the powerful corporate and banking interests will certainly dominate the politics of this country. That is unacceptable. That is a path toward endless war and occupation abroad, and a massive transfer of wealth to the already rich at home.

All out for March 21! Jobs Not War! Schools Not War! Occupation is a Crime!

Meet the Corporate War Profiteers and Merchants of Death

James Mcnerney Jr BoeingW. James McNerney Jr.
CEO of Boeing.

2007 Total Compensation: $19 million. Value of Boeing Stock Owned: $25.7 million

Facts about Boeing:
Boeing currently produces numerous jets and bombers, including the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber and the F/A-22 Raptor, as well as multiple surface-to-air missiles and various bombs. Boeing also produces the bolt-on JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) that turns gravity bombs into “smart” munitions.

Boeing supplies Israel with various weapon systems, including the F-15 Eagle fighter jet and A-64 Apache attack helicopter, as well as numerous types of bombs and missiles. It was these weapons that helped to kill 1,017 Palestinians killed in the Israeli invasion of Gaza in December 2008 and January 2009.

In 2008, Boeing made $2,225,947 in campaign contributions. 58 percent of these contributions were to Democrats, and 42 percent were to Republicans. In 2008, they spent $16,610,000 on lobbying.

Despite massive profits, Boeing opposed raises for plant employees, and attempted to outsource union jobs so that the company could be “more flexible.”

Robert Stevens Lockheed MartinRobert J. Stevens
CEO of Lockheed Martin

2007 Total Compensation: $37 million. Value of Lockheed Martin Stock Owned: $33.8 million

Facts about Lockheed Martin:
Lockheed Martin currently produces the F-117 Stealth Fighter that was used in the brutal “Shock and Awe” bombings of Iraq, as well as the F/A-22 Raptor fighter jet. They also produces various missile systems, including the Hellfire and Javelin, and various nuclear weapon designs. Lockheed supplies fighter jets and other weapon systems to Israel.

Lockheed’s 2008 first-quarter revenue was $9.98 billion–an increase of $700 million from the year prior. By 2015, the F-35 program alone could represent more than $16 billion in annual revenue for the company.

Lockheed’s former vice-president, Bruce Jackson, headed the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq.

In 2005, Lockheed received $65 million every single day of the year from the U.S. government. That year, Lockheed garnered $228 in federal tax money from every household in the United States.

In 2008, Lockheed made $2.6 million in political contributions—49 percent to the Democrats and 51 percent to the Republicans.

In 2004, Lockheed spent nearly $10 million on more than 100 lobbyists. From 2001-2005, only Philip Morris and GE spent more money lobbying Congress. By 2008, that number was $15.8 million.

Nicholas Chabraja General DynamicsNicholas D. Chabraja
CEO of General Dynamics

2007 Total Compensation: $60 million. Value of GD Stock Owned: $154.2 million

Facts about General Dynamics:
General Dynamics currently produces dozens of weapon systems, which include the Stryker Armored Combat Vehicle and the M-1 Abrams Main Battle Tank series, as well as other highly devastating artillery systems and the Trident Nuclear Submarine.

General Dynamics has supplied Israel with various weapon systems, including the F-16 Falcon fighter jet.

In 2008, General Dynamics made $1,682,595 in campaign contributions—58 percent to the Democrats and 42 percent to the Republicans.

Also in 2008, General Dynamics spent $8,562,439 lobbying for government contracts.

Fueled by sales of business jets and military-combat equipment, General Dynamics reported a 32 percent jump in first-quarter profits for 2008, to $573 million. The backlog of work not completed far outpaced revenues, growing by 14 percent to nearly $50 billion.

Analysts think General Dynamics and Mr. Chabraja will do even better next year, noting the “upside potential” of the combat-systems group, which is benefiting from the U.S. Army’s restocking of equipment lost, damaged or worn by operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, in addition to a $12 billion backlog of orders for corporate jets.

William Utt KBRWilliam P. Utt
CEO of Kellogg Brown & Root.

2007 Total Compensation: $3.29 million. Value of KBR Stock Owned: $6.5 million

Facts about KBR:
There are roughly 14,000 KBR employees inside of Iraq that provide logistical support to the U.S. military. KBR has made billions off of “reconstruction” contracts within Iraq.

KBR is the largest non-union construction company in the United States. It has won many contracts with the U.S. government, including $100 million to build a U.S. embassy in Afghanistan, as well as $216 million for the construction of several base camps and training foreign troops from the Republic of Georgia.

Despite at least a dozen former employees alleging they had been raped by co-workers in Iraq and other employees saying co-workers regularly stole gold, artwork, and weapons, KBR remains in the Pentagon’s good graces. In mid-April, it received a 10-year, $150 billion contract to support the military overseas.

CEO William Utt called 2008 an “outstanding year,” saying KBR posted record profitability.

Despite many scandals and controversies, KBR reported that its first quarter net profits for 2008 more than tripled, from $28 million the previous year to $98 million.

ANSWER Coalition Responds to President Obama’s Iraq Speech of Friday, February 27

With his speech today, President Obama has essentially agreed to continue the criminal occupation of Iraq indefinitely. He announced that there will be an occupation force of 50,000 U.S. troops in Iraq for at least three more years. President Obama used carefully chosen words to avoid a firm commitment to remove the 50,000 occupation troops, even after 2011.

The war in Iraq was illegal. It was aggression. It was based on lies and false rationales. President Obama’s speech today made Bush’s invasion sound like a liberating act and congratulated the troops for “getting the job done.” More than a million Iraqis died and a cruel civil war was set into motion because of the foreign invasion. President Obama did not once criticize the invasion itself.

He has also requested an increase in war spending for Iraq and Afghanistan, and plans to double the number of U.S. troops sent to fight in Afghanistan.

President Obama has asked Congress to provide more than $200 billion for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars over the next two years, in addition to increasing the Pentagon budget by four percent.

Based on President Obama’s new budget, the Pentagon would rank as the world’s 17th largest economy—if it were a country. This new budget increases war spending. Total spending in 2010 would roughly equate to an average of $21,000 a second.

This is not the end of the occupation of Iraq, but rather the continuation of the occupation.

There is only one reason that tens of thousands of troops will remain in Iraq: It is because this is a colonial-type occupation of a strategically important and oil-rich country located in the Middle East where two-thirds of the world’s oil reserve can be found.

Obama’s speech was a major disappointment for anyone who was hoping that Obama would renounce the illegal occupation of Iraq. Today, the U.S. government spends $480 million per day to fund the occupation of Iraq. Even if 100,000 troops are drawn out by August 2010, that means the indefinite occupation of Iraq will cost more than $100 million each day. The continued occupation of Iraq for two years or three years or more makes a complete mockery out of the idea that the Iraqi people control their own destiny. It is a violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and independence.

It is no wonder that John McCain came out to support President Obama’s announced plan on Iraq. McCain was an supporter of former President Bush’s and Vice President Cheney’s war and occupation in Iraq.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld—the architects of regime change in Iraq—never had the goal of indefinitely keeping 150,000 U.S. troops in Iraq. They wanted to subdue the Iraqi people and exercise control with a smaller force. The Iraqi armed resistance prolonged the stationing of 150,000 U.S. troops.

Bush’s goal was domination over Iraq and its oil supplies, and domination over the region. This continues to be the goal of the U.S. political and economic establishment, including that of the new administration.

President Obama decided not to challenge the fundamental strategic orientation. That explains why he kept the Bush team—Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and Generals Petraeus and Odierno—on the job to oversee and manage the Iraq occupation. They will also manage the widening U.S. war in Afghanistan and the aerial assaults on Pakistan. There have been over 30 U.S. bombing attacks in Pakistan in the last two months.

We are marching on Saturday, March 21 because the people of this country are fed up with the status quo. They want decent-paying jobs, and affordable health care and housing for all. Students want to study rather than be driven out by soaring tuition rates. The majority of people want a complete—not partial—withdrawal of ALL troops from Iraq. They want the war in Afghanistan to end rather than escalate. They are increasingly opposed to sending $2.6 billion each year to Israel and want an end to the colonial occupation of Palestine.

The international campaign to deny Iran the use of nuclear reactors

Nuclear energy whether we like it or not is seen by many countries as their way of becoming ‘energy independent’. Those countries that have already developed this technology are seen as being the movers and shakers around the world… don’t laugh! But there is a giant campaign across the world (centered in the US), not to do away with construction of their own nuclear reactors by those countries already having them, but to deny less developed countries entry into the world of the Imperial Order of Countries with nuclear reactors online already producing energy. There, the movement (centered in the US once again) is actually to expand the use of nuclear reactor produced energy.

Key to the idea of not allowing other less developed countries the right to develop their own technology, is the idea that they will copy the Big Powers and develop nuclear bombs out of them. Certainly there might be the temptation to do such, though most of these impoverished countries also have a big temptation to limit costs and move away from the expense of doing so. It is not an industry that they can profit on by selling to other countries, as the US did so with their own nuclear industry. Military development of nuclear power in the US was run in conjunction with the US based military industrial complex and its constant need to sell their products elsewhere than in the host country of development. Such a profitability is dubious in the case of North Korea or other like countries looking for energy development at a seemingly reasonable cost.

It cannot be assume that all countries trying to development nuclear energy are just looking for trouble and wanting to initiate a nuclear war. That was the case with the US but not necessarily the case with other countries national nuclear industries. The US developed its nuclear energy first to have the bomb, and only second to produce energy. It has used that development to build itself up as the world’s biggest threat to ever obtaining a peaceful world, too.

Iran is trying to develop nuclear energy and Israel sees that as threat to its own illegal actions against others. However, even if Iran were trying to develop an atomic bomb arsenal, the situation would not be even as bad as both Pakistan and India both having nuclear weapons and having already threatened to use them against each other. For half a century the ex Soviet Union and the US threatened each other with nuclear weapons, too, so it is certainly the epitome of hypocrisy to actually deny Iran a nuclear weapon if it were to be developing one. There are no world disarmament programs currently in place, are there?

However, there is much evidence that Iran is actually telling the truth about its nuclear programs, and to argue that point I defer to the Monthly Review commentary by Muhammad Sahimi, a USC professor of chemical engineering, titled Who’s Telling the Truth About Iran’s Nuclear Program?

Check it out and take a look at the pro-war lies of the American military machine once again. Truth is simply not part of Pentagon operation.

A falling out once again between Colombian/ US D.C. rateros (rats)

Colombian hand ratsThese thugs that run the Colombia government in conjunction with the White House are always having problems with their internal squabbles between death squad leaders, government of the death squad leaders (Uribe), the Pentagon, the US government, and down to the level of their paid-for compadres. Colombian rebel turncoat claims betrayal …there simply is no honor among Rateros. That’s a picture of the Colombian military examining their paid-for sawed off hand.

America’s biggest entitlement program is the Pentagon and Obama will cut Social Security before he will ever cut the military budget down to size

Obama is primed to carry his con game forward. Obama turns to budget, health care, entitlements …Notice how the military is missing? Why is that? The Pentagon simply is America’s biggest entitlement program and the biggest welfare program in the history of the Universe.

Obama has shown no desire other than to initiate a few cosmetic changes of the For Profit Medical System, while giving hundreds of billions to the banks and financial ponzi operators. With Social Security, he cannot keep it even as it currently is which is a program shot full of holes, if he is going to send more troops off to war and allow the bloated Pentagon Welfare Scam to continue as always. Watch out Social Security which there is little of to begin with. Do you feel socially secure now? If not, then join hundreds of millions of other Americans.

Germany, the US, and the Pakistani government team up to slaughter Uzbek refugees in Pakistan

uzbek-children-in-pakistan‘US strike’ kills 27 in Pakistan There is absolutely no reason for this report to put US Strike in parentheses since it was a US Pentagon slaughter of the usual type, and it did occur under Barack Obama’s direction. In this, the Pentagon has the total complicity of the Pakistani government, which allows US slaughter of refugees living inside its borders. The Uzbek victims are the latest scapegoats and human sacrifices for D.C.’s ‘Global War on Terrorism’, and are just 27 dead numbers as far as Barack Obama is concerned. Sacrifices to the God GWOT.

But what are these Uzbeks doing in Pakistan? Are they ‘jihadists’, or is there another story behind their presence so far from Uzbekistan? Yes there is! That’s’ where the Germans come into the picture, too. See ABSOLUTISM IN UZBEKISTAN
Germany’s Favorite Despot
and Prison conditions worsen further in Uzbekistan 18 january, 2009 for some background info.

So what is Germany doing in Uzbekistan? German military ponders plans to build Afghan railway route You might not know about any of these matters but you can bet your bottom dollar that Vladimir Putin and the Russians do! Their country is being encircled by the Germans and the US and the God GWOT is the justification being used by people like… YES… like Barack Obama!

Well, the Russians, Germans, and the US are all jostling over the region right now, Russia allows transit of US military supplies By VLADIMIR ISACHENKOV -Feb 6, 2009 and human sacrifice is necessary say the 3 powers. What value do the latest 27 dead Uzbek refugees have other than propaganda in the US press to curry more support for the fight against ‘Muslim jihadists’? The military-industrial complex needs more US government contracts and more US wars ad infinitum! Bombs away Pakistan! (the children in the picture are Uzbek refugees in Pakistan)

Shell Oil’s Green shell game

shell gameShell Oil claims to be Green, Green, Green! Corporate Green is more like it though, yet that did not stop the oil company from running advertisements in recent years that included a picture of an oil refinery, with chimneys producing flowers and a headline that read “Don’t throw anything away — there is no away”.

See Shell Recycling Adverts “Misleading” -Watchdog about that nonsense.

But there is yet more to the Shell Oil Green Shell game it is playing with the public. Let’s visit Nigeria where Shell Oil is a big player in energy production there , shall we? There we find Shell Oil wasting billions upon billions of dollars of the world’s precious and declining energy supplies, all in a way that brings back personal memories of Mobil Exxon for me!

My dad worked for Mobil Oil and living in Texas as a kid, I remember all those gas flares from the refineries and oil fields. Nigeria’s gas profits ‘up in smoke’ Yep! In Nigeria Shell Oil has gas flares going big time, all without seemingly much of a care in the world about it, too. It’s a Hell of a way to be playing ‘Green’ company, is it not?

Shell Oil is almost as Green as the US military is! Hey, the two of them go together even! Shell Oil and the Pentagon both playing a shell game with the public about supposedly being Green! Don’t buy it. Don’t buy any of the corporate wave of pretending to be Green. They just simply or not and never will be either. And neither will the Pentagon ever be Green either…

Israel-USA use Hamas as shields to kill Palestinian children

wounded Palestinian childHere we go again with that typical Pentagon argument that the official enemy of the minute is supposedly hiding behind civilians. Israel shells near UN school, killing at least 30 This is what Israeli propagandists have to say about that…

‘The Israeli army said its soldiers came under fire from militants hiding in the school and responded. It accused Gaza’s Hamas rulers of “cynically” using civilians as human shields.’ What a threadbare argument for killing civilians with heavy fire, and the US government uses this excuse all the time for its Murder Incorporated policies around the globe.

How many times has the Pentagon dropped bombs on schools, mosques, and wedding parties, and then denied it or used the above excuse? More times than I can count. Israel-USA are a group of terrorists and most all of the citizens of both countries are apologists for their government’s continual use of terrorism on civilian populations.

That is what colonialism, ‘neo’ or not always leads to. We need to open our voices, increase our public visibility in our opposition to the latest US terrorism underway via a US government client state. We need to wake up and realize that we are not governed by a democracy, but rather by a corporate dictatorship that has become, Murder Incorporated. We live under the rule of State Terrorists. Barack Obama is merely a new gargoyle that heads this regime.
