Those statues they’re taking down honored REBELS. Let that sink in.

If we're really aiming to discredit historic personages who faught for slavery we've got a lot more statues to take down. The Alamo first responders come to mind. Boone, Crockett, and gang delivered the Texas territories from Mexico which had abolished slavery there. Gringo Texas land grabbers needed slaves for their intended plantations. And we can go back to the colonial declarers of independance, who resented taxation without representation. What was England trying to foist on America without representation? ABOLITION OF SLAVERY. The statues being taken down in New Orleans are no doubt going to rich collectors to decorate vast private gardens. There the statues wil definitely be appreciated for overt racist and segregationist themes. In the historic town centers where those monuments belong, those statues celebrate REBELS. Let that sink in. 50191

Whose flag opposes the anti-slavery stipulations in the TPP trade treaty?

We're demonizing the Civil War era Confederate Battleflag for defending slavery while the victorious DC regime profits by slavery and protects it still. Team Stars and Stripes opposes amendments to the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement that would prohibit signatory nations from exploiting slave labor. The Rebel flag stood for slavery, the US flag stands for it.

The New Slave Ships Have Arrived

The year was 1960, and there was only one mens prison in Colorado at that time, located at Canon City. There was a womens prison that sat next to the mens prison. There were three small satellites off the main prison: the ranch, dairy farm and garden. And there was the young mens reformatory at Buena Vista, for a total of three prisons. In 1960 the population figures for Colorado was nearly two million people, in 2010 it was a little over five million; In a span of fifty years Colorado gained three million people. In 1960, it took 3 prisons to confine the convicts of two million people living in Colorado. By 2006 there were 30 prisons in Colorado, while adding only three million people to the population. Hold on here a minute; something doesn't add up: 2 million people needed 3 prisons, now 5 million people need 30 prisons?! 44123

John Kerry tells Africa its greatest resource was & will always be slavery

With the developed empire still wildly exploiting Africa's vast natural resources and pillaging the wealth of its peoples, US Secretary of State John Kerry had the temerity to pretend that the dark continent's most precious resource is its untapped labor. Globalization means Western Civ doesn't have to ship slaves to labor intensive ventures across oceans. Now debt slaves can serve world bank masters in sweatshops and maquiadores and plantations situated in their own prison states.

Fast Food Forward!

A working wage for those working in the fast food industry is a righteous cause to struggle to get! There is now a strike of fast food workers underway being led by Fast Food Forward that is seeking a change to this modern day fast food factory slavery that has come to symbolize all that's wrong with the US. Support them. See Fast-food workers in NYC flex their muscle for better pay for more about their strike.

Collaborators, rats and pigs

I found this unsigned flier in Denver, a collage of the American eagle, globe in mouth, and Stars & Stripes over US misdeeds, clockwise from top left: race lynching, branding slaves, blindfolded Iraqi detainees, combatant corpse desecration, Hiroshima, torture of Viet Cong, My Lai, Columbus' mass burning of Tano Indians, Filipino insurgents executed in trenches, the gruesome trophy pic, etc, framing this succinct condemnation: "The US military, intelligence operatives, and police are traitors to humanity. Those who work with them, those who friend them, and those who sleep with them are collaborators. They are rats and pigs."

The Puppet-Masters and their pet Turkey, double-dealing.

They condemn those of us in America who rebel against their fascist Corporate leadership and presumption of ownership of every aspect of our lives, calling it "Freedom" while their Pig-Slaves break our heads with clubs and plastic bullets. And in the case of Oscar Grant, lead and copper bullets. While cheering rebellions in countries which have denied "deprived" the Poor Little Rich Boys like Halliburton, Exxon-Mobil, British Petroleum, Royal Dutch, Shell, "stolen" their claim to have Corporate Control over their ports and their oil. And they actually finance and organize the so-called "spontaneous" rebellions like in Libya and now, Syria. Never mind they're also paying Other Peoples Money And Lives to put down REAL grass roots movements in Iraq and Afghanistan and Yemen... And Turkey. Turkey is now paying back their Corporate Overlords for the U.S. and NATO PUBLICLY FUNDED Terror War against the Kurds and Albania. The Slave-Caliph Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemns Syria for responding violently to violent attacks while continuing to suppress, with the help of his Puppet Masters in London and Washington, the Kurdish People actually having a right to life. Lick them Pentagon Boots, "caliph" Erdogan. They're your masters and you are their dog. Just like the New

Cain being charged on sex, but not the Murder and Robbery and Slavery

He's paid to support War, it's the base of Capital. Now they've got some sex accusations brought to bring him down. As heinous as rape is, or the statutory rape of an employee or job candidate as a condition of being hired... There's the literally countless murders of civilians including children done to support the lavish lifestyle of the Corporate Class. It would pale in comparison to even one such wanton murder. It's drinking from the same fount, though, War, Slavery, Prostitution, Rape... but so far there's a thunderous silence booming from the Right over any and all of those issues. To raise the issue that War is equivalent to any of the other crimes, or even a solid foundation to mask and enable them, has been political suicide since the time of the Athenians. The beating of War drums awakens and energizes people who only vote on emotion, and Capital is subsidized by War. It cannot survive without war, it's not a self-sustaining system as the "Invisible Hand Free Market" proponents claim. 29070

Niemand ist hoffnungsloser versklavt als jene, die flschlicherweise glauben, frei zu sein. – Uh, it’s Goethe

You might as well quote Goethe in the original German, so tentatively does his meaning translate to the common conformist. For the lower brow: without the red pill, how can you know it will deliver you? This message was spotted among this weekend's Wall Street Occupiers: "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."

An 83% Payroll Tax, on the Workers and paid directly to the Corporations

That's what I paid and, everybody who works for a "Slave Market" minimum wage Labor Contractor Service such as Labor Ready, Apprentice, Manpower, Kelly... The "tax" is paid to a Non-Governmental Organization, and is paid before the Worker gets his check. I base the 83% figure on the fact that the workers are paid only 1/6th of what the Parasite Corporation gets for his "product". Under the various manifestations of the "Right To Get Screwed At Work" law, the workers aren't allowed to negotiate wages, working conditions, pensions or Insurance through the use of Collective Bargaining. We're supposed, instead, to go hat-in-hand and beg the employer for a slight fraction more of what is actually owed us. On an individual basis and, under the RTW law, the employer can cut your wages just as quickly as he "gives" them to you. They can take 5 times what we get, producing absolutely NOTHING themselves. We're not allowed to do what the Corporate Masters do, insist on a profit for our product. Nor, according to the laws as interpreted by their Tame Supreme Court, are we even allowed to break even. You can't go to King Soopers or Safeway and buy a $3

The Wondrous Tale of Brer Lamborn, Brer FOX & Obama the Tar Baby. Uncle Remus and Racism in Colorado Springs.

COLORADO SPRINGS- If US Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) remembered one thing from the Uncle Remus stories, it was not to touch that Tar Baby! You know, the one Brer Rabbit mistook for a cute black infant who would not tip his hat to his better. Or was that a Porch-Monkey? Colorado's 5th District is unclear about the distinction if the local media and Fox News are to be believed. Either term refers to a poor person whose sticky problems become your "quagmire" if you ignore your natural prejudice to their skin color and you let them touch you. Can a representative of bigots be bothered to know if a racial slur is offensive? According to Lamborn, he can't. More important, the congressman reiterates --as he professes his apology to people taking umbrage at racism he hadn't intended to express-- is: NOT TO TOUCH THAT OBAMA!   To be clear, Doug Lamborn hasn't apologized to his constituents, he's only claimed to have sent President Obama a letter, assuring all that Obama, the black untouchable, will have the grace to forgive him as "a man of character".   And so this Uncle Remus tale simply goes on... 26243

Jim Bowie’s Noble Gesture of freeing his servant Sam

At the Alamo during the Texas Land Grab Disguised As A Revolution while he was waiting to be overrun and killed.   Mighty "white" of him but, hey, the manumission papers were a useless formality. One of the excuses used for stirring up the revolution was "deprivation of property rights" meaning that General Antonio Jose y Maria Lopez de Santa Ana had, through the enforcement of the Guerrero Proclamation, emancipation papers for anybody in Mexico (including, legally, San Antonio) who was held as a slave. This wasn't done as a slap in the face for the white Anglo colonists, who hadn't (yet) become quite the pestilence they would later be. 26438

Wikileaks- US State Dept ties Haitian aid to acceptance of wage slavery

When the outgoing Haitian Govt insisted on the whopping huge $5 a DAY minimum wage instead of the three dollars a day being offered by the Corporate-owned U.S.A.I.D., their pet sellouts at State Dept, which has been trying to put a stranglehold on who does or does not do business with Haiti since, like, Forever, endorsed a U.S.A.I.D. report that Haiti wasn't as badly harmed by the earthquake and thus, the Haitian people owe the aid money back. Welcome to the Global Plantation. I wonders, yes I does, how much Gov Scott Walker, Rep Paul Ryan, Gov LePage of Maine, Rick GoodHair of Texas, The Chambers of Commerce, and their Local Anti-worker ToolsTrained Monkeys like Paige, Patchsi, Janis Heuberger, Jeff Crank, Malkin, Tancredo, and the entire City Council, the Mayor and County Commissioners have in their own personal stock portfolios on this? Slavery by low wage and high debt IS their main way of doing business. How about it, anti-Union anti-Working Class PUNKS? Sound off on how morally superior and righteous you are in defense of Slavery.

Shit I learned in school

...because, really, I DO believe there's a deliberate sabotage of Public Education being done simply by handing a "liberal" program over to be administered by "conservatives". In 7th grade in Texas you're taught Texas History. Some of it would be almost unrecognizable from a Yankee point of view. For instance, we were taught that the Civil War wasn't about slavery, it was about State's Rights. State's Rights to spend civic money and exercise military and police powers to enforce slavery. We were also told, and I have reason to believe that it's gotten worse, we were told that the Slaves were well treated, given decent food and housing, and Medical Care. Happy Days on de ol' Plantation wif all de Darkies singin' and happy and de Massa jes' lubbin all of dem! O, de sun shines bright on my old Kentucky home it's summer and the darkies are gay... You smile and laugh and sing because the Massah would beat you and maybe have you killed if you indicated any dissatisfaction with the arrangement. It's that simple. The Slaves were all Happy and Content and Well Treated... so why do the Corporate Slaveholders of the Modern Plantation, the ones who advance this bald-face lie about how good

Ms Czeladtko, temper temper…

Threatening people with police action for making fun of you? That's not the actions of somebody who isn't Fascist. Especially when the most pointed barbs were about your sneering condemnation of people you consider inferior because of their economic status. Apparently, making the arbitrary decision that people who are so desperately poor that they're actually not able to find housing... are "insane".. That's a little over the top, don't you see? Saying further that anybody who even LOOKS homeless should be banned from parks and other publicly funded places and services, "to protect the children" was really just God-damned stupid. Also hateful. Vicious. And displays the attitude that PikesPeakOcean and JCP1800 lampooned so thoroughly. 22795

Tripoli and the Original Intent of the Founding Great White Fathers.

You know the first line of the Marine Corps Hymn, ends with "to the shores of Tripoli" So, why, exactly, was Tripoli so important? Well, since American Capitalism was and still is heavily dependent on goods and services produced by Slavery, an important slave-shipping region like the Barbary Coast (North Africa from western Egypt to the Gibraltar Straits) was the "Raw Material" source for American, British and French Capitalism. Slaves. Human cargo. The Bush family and the Harvard trust and the Yale trust got simultaneously Fantastically Wealthy through the 'necessary evil'.   Capital can only work if the Richest make other HUMAN BEINGS poorer. The "rising tide lifts all boats" bullshit is simply that. In a system of finite resources, and there is no resource which isn't... the Rich can only gain and maintain their wealth at the expense of everybody else. 22091

To the so called “Conservatives”: Merry God-Damn Free Market!

You know how the Adam Smith/Reagan/Ayn Rand brainwashed disciples preach that "A rising tide lifts all boats". What they don't mention is the Rich have it rigged so their Wage Slaves can't afford a God-Damn boat. They'll also get some Really Stupid Morons like the TeaBags and any other non-wealthy person Retarded enough to do their bidding, tell the rest of the working class that there actually IS opportunity if only we save enough money from our slave-wage jobs to invest, we'll get a whole $50 a week from our 401k if we work ourselves to death putting millions of times that much in the pockets of the Rich Bitches. All y'all who say otherwise, boy Howdy! The professional liars who work for the Filthy Rich Pigs sure got YOU! Problem is you bastards are too God-Damn DUMB to know it. You'll even voluntarily go to other countries and kill other working class people so your Rich Masters can rob them the same way they rob YOUR dumb asses. They'll even tell you you're fighting for "freedom" and that you're giving the people you're slaughtering an "opportunity" and "civilization" Yeah, you're giving them the opportunity and freedom to be good little Civilized

So-called Free Market Capitalism doesn’t pay its bills

It instead leeches off Tax-supported Publicly paid enterprises like the Army and Police agencies, not coincidentally the only agencies they want to be continued to have Public Funding...Allow the wealthiest to not pay taxes on money they obtained through blatantly aggressive Government Interventions in the so-called "free" markets by using publicly funded Soldiers to take over any of the competing trade partnerships aka "Sovereign Nations" by extreme violence or the threat thereof. 20222

The Census and Original Intent of the Founding Aristocrats

Since we have a lot of loudmouth Know-it-all know-nothings running their collective head, in chorus, paid by the richest men in America to cement the notion of an American Aristocracy based on personal wealth, Who tell us every hour of every day that they, and ONLY They, know the original intent of a group of arbitrarily assigned White Aristocrats they call the "Founding Fathers", a group which includes up to ... actually less than, 100 of the richest men in America. Out of the 3,929,326 MEN and only MEN counted in the first census in 1790. Never mind that even the very tiny INSIGNIFICANT representative sample they define as the "Founding Fathers" never unanimously agreed on any single issue, and that John Adams, one of the Richest of the bunch, granted himself arbitrary powers in a definition of the Sedition Acts to jail people who disagreed with his personal agenda. Or that there wasn't a Majority Consensus on the Bill of Rights, which wasn't included in the Original Constitution. Or that of those 3,929,326 MEN more than half weren't allowed to VOTE for who got to represent them... No Taxation without representation? How about "No REPRESENTATIVE DICTATORSHIP without Representation"? Their "original

Celebrity Leaders of the Anti-Peasant Crusade

Why is Lou Dobbs considered an "expert" on Immigration, but not Colbert? Now they're barking because Colbert testified in Congress as an "expert witness". And say that his only expertise was that he's a "Celebrity" Say whut? The problem they're having with his expertise isn't the shock to the senses that your first day of Field Labor is to ANYBODY. (It's why the Founding Fathers "hired" slaves to do it for them, because let's face it, if George Washington or Madison or Jefferson had to go out and cut their own damn tobacco and sugar cane (cotton wasn't a cash crop until later) they would have starved. Labor built the fortunes of the "Founding Fathers" the same way Labor builds the fortunes of the Capitalists today.) But they're claiming that his "expert" status was somehow due to his status as a Celebrity. So, what now, do they stop listening to that stupid John Wayne Record about how honorable it is to join the Army, travel to exotic places, meet interesting people, and Kill Them? 20078

Ron Kovic, Private Nation and the mystique of the Token Cripple

Because I get the same kind of crap in lower doses than Kovic and Max Cleland did and still do. When you become disabled at work you're supposed to be grateful for any crust of bread thrown your way, and condemned as a whiner if you point out the guilt of the parties who brought you to that state. With war veterans it's worse. Ron Kovic and Max Cleland were "just fine" in the eyes of the Pentagon, until they started opposing the war, then they were and still are demonized. The Pentagoons, while Cleland was fighting to survive, leaving 3 of his limbs on the cutting room floor, (mixed metaphor there, cutting room is about films) his commanders were filling out paperwork exonerating themselves from any blame for what they had done to him. Like Kovic, and Private Nation, and John Kerry, and Flight Lt Joseph "Country" MacDonald, he was treated with the military equivalent of Honor as long as he consented to be the Token. The Warrior returning and still supporting a lost war. Touching, Heartwarming, (heartburn) but once they chose to speak out, save for Private Nation, they were the darlings of every parade, supporting sending even MORE

Between Iraq and a Hard Place, Slave Labor + Corporate Welfare = Warfare

Since all available national resources are being called in to fight what's the worst unnatural disaster and getting worse, to smite us in a long while, it pays to recognize one huge fact. The equally Corporate Welfare To The Oil Industry wars against Afghan and Iraqi people (for Corporate Profit-not "freedom") and the beneficiaries of this hastily pulled in Public Largesse, an Oil Corporation, BP, which presumably has more corporate money available than the entire U.S. Government does, is "big-assing" us on the subject of actually having to eventually repay the U.S. and State governments... 16375

Obama breaks truth to widows: Miners died as Corporate Slaves, get used to it

Not really. He said they died in pursuit of a better life. But since the Coal Companies and other Corporate owners of West Virginia aren't going to actually invest anything in developing some other way for the people who live there to survive, and the people have not nearly enough opportunity to build their own enterprises, it IS a cycle of corporate slavery. 16258

Hysterical Revisionist Virginia Tea Party attempts another test of Anti-Smart Bomb Strategy, EPIC FAIL!

As we approach the Sesquicentennial (150 years) of the Civil War (massive contradiction in terms) the Commonwealth of Virginia attempted to pass off a "Confederate History Month" with no mention whatsodamnever of slavery. Even with decades of attempting to show that display of the Confederate Southern Cross battle flag (not an official confederate national flag, incidentally) is somehow not a symbol of Racism.   (These colors don't run... A God-Damn thing.) 15829
