Tag Archives: Shock and Awe

You know, when people get shot at, they tend to shoot back…

Out of all the emotions one could feel or as a herd, millions of someones could feel, “shock” at the return fire offered unto a Chinook helicopter would be about the least appropriate. Or that the return fire being somehow unprovoked, since the flying can of SEALS were being sent in as reinforcements for an assassination mission. Certainly the description of it being an attack on the SEALS rather than the defense of “the other way round” was more than slightly uncalled for.
What, are we to describe it as a War or more like a one-sided organized slaughter? How much Shock and Awe, Might Makes Right, Oderint dum Metuant propaganda are we supposed to take? We get to slaughter They with high tech superior firepower by the dozens and scores but if They fight back They are Terrorists?

That we need do naught but flex our Mighty Muscles and they should bow down before us, bowing and cringing and apologizing for daring to believe they are our equals or we, theirs?

In the Graveyard of Empires, being held as their equals would be an high historic honor.

Fourth of July fireworks: an unseemly American insensitivity to shock & awe?

I forget, do Americans celebrate The 4th of July because America can kick everyone’s ass, or because we can kick anyone’s ass, be they unarmed, civilian, or collateral; and by remote, and with impunity? Americans celebrate our independence, yet we are not free, while we actively attack others to ensure they’re not either. Do you wonder if the American appetite for fireworks owes quite a bit to our never having suffered a home front war? I can’t look at these pyrotechnics without thinking that this is what the other end of the gun looks like. We sit protected, watching non-lethal Shock ‘N’ Wow demos, while for many parts of the world, such explosions terrify, re-fire PTSD, and at the least, remind millions of how they lost their loved ones.

Generals say “we’ll only resume combat operations in Iraq if..

..the Iraqi people reject our Puppet Dictatorship. Meanwhile we’ll keep our bases there to intimidate them into not developing a rebellious attitude, like thinking they’re good enough to rule themselves without our intereference. And of course make sure the Iraqi government lives up to the agreement we forced them to sign to give all their oil to Our Great And Noble Oil Corporation Masters. Alle Sieg Heil am das Oil Corporations! HEIL! HEIL! HEIL!”
So, if the Iraqi people use that Freedom To Obey and vote for people the Oil Company Pentagon Puppets have forbidden them to elect, the Army is going to go back in and “liberate” them again.
And the Corporate Death Squads like Blackwater will continue to patrol without any possibility of ever being prosecuted in U.S. Courts for the murders, tortures and other crimes they commit.
And them there Sand N——s better not try to prosecute any Blackwater “employees” either, because that “freedom” America The Corporate Puppet Army gave them doesn’t extend to actual, you know, Freedom. Alle Sieg Heil am Prince Erik von Blackwater!

Interesting wording: Taliban blamed for Afghan civilian deaths

First the generic word Taliban. Which translates, if I’ve got the wording right, according to the State Department, “soldier”. More or less. Then “blamed for”. Is that a tacit admission that they’re catching the rap but not in fair measure?
Then there’s the notion that the “Taliban” in general and al Qa’eda in particular have been driven far from civilian population centers. So that’s two conflicting if not Mutually Exclusive stories being told by the same party, the Koalition of the Killing.
At its most blunt, its an admission that they’re losing, in the first part, and that they were covering it up with a blanket of lies about having the Taliban driven far away from the civilians.

Then there are the Wikileaks files. Which tell a third tale, by the Same Party, Koalition of the Killing, in what they thought were Secret communications.
By the way, Free the Hero Bradley Manning!!
Aside from that, there’s an old Baptist adage provided by some Old Baptists who i happen to know.
If you don’t want people to find out what you’re doing, don’t tell anybody.

There’s a really sad story you hear a lot from people convicted of felonies. “My accomplice snitched me off to get a good deal from the DA.”

The more serious the crime, like say, War Crimes, and the more often it’s committed, and the more accomplices you have… then the more people will want to find out who is responsible for those crimes, and will be snooping around. Usually armed with subpoenas and warrants but ALWAYS armed with well, Arms.

Cases that involve human deaths and especially the deaths of Children tend to draw a LOT more attention.

Now, the way the Army and Co. set up their communications and storage of those communications is critical to their relative success at doing their crimes.
The bigger the Army, the more records, the more copies of Accomplices ratting each other out, only, in a system where they’re ratting each other out to each other and the evidence stored by their own Criminal Organization to help figure out what happened when their Criminal Organization loses its collective rosie-red Arse.

Such as what’s happening now in Greater VietRaqiStan. I can’t help but believe that quite a few people in the Pentagoons actually DID know right from wrong, they KNEW that the tactic of Might Makes Right ALWAYS has backfired, they KNEW they were telling lies… because other than them having this certain knowledge of what they were doing, and why it is WRONG, you would have to have a couple of million complete Airheads running the Weapons storage and utilizations system known as the Military, and… the largest one on the face of the Earth.

Dumb, or lying. Not much of a choice, is it?
