In Iraq, “willful killing, torture and enforced disappearance” is a crime

Former Iraq Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz has been sentenced to death by the US Iraqi puppet regime. Pending an automatic appeal, the internationally popular diplomat will hang with other henchmen/assistants of Saddam Hussein for the crimes of "willful killing, torture and enforced disappearance of persons." Do they have the wrong man? Men? Nation? Expeditionary Force? How many consecutive sentences of hangings must the Bush-Obama Team America Junta receive, justice being proportional?

Rekindling Hiroshima: Shock and Awe

The 65th anniversary of dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima marks the first time the US will send an emissary to Japan for the commemoration. Will it be to reconsider remorse for committing history's most time-compressed crime against humanity, or as part of the fear-nukes campaign being waged against Iran? While anti-nuclear activists forever protest against arms buildups and proliferation, the US government is pleased enough to rekindle the specter of the bomb. Witness the Zionist crockumentary COUNTDOWN TO ZERO, this year's anti-Islamic OBSESSION, focused not on who has too many WMDs, but on the axis of evil smoking gun mushroom cloud.

Wikileaks spills “Afganistan War Logs” detail Task Force 373, US death squad

You thought death squads were only for banana republics? Meet covert US Task Force 373 which circulates in Afghanistan with a 2,058 name "Kill or Capture List" killing all witnesses, even policemen, who get in their way. The sudden transparency is due the AFGHANISTAN WAR LOGS, courtesy at last from Wikileaks. While dodging US DHS agents, Wikileak's Julian Assange was able to coordinate a clever self-checking joint release of the documents via the Guardian UK, Der Spiegel, and the New York Times. The events reported aren't accusations, they're the soldiers' own records. This leak of over 90,000 files represents the US military's account of the Afghanistan conflict virtually in its entirety. The news outlets have attempted the present the data in manageable articles, while also providing the raw material for download. The Guardian even offers a tutorial. The coordinated release ensures that no one can alter the information, and Assange's choice of outlets was also clever: all three of them are/were pro-war. There will be lots of revelations from these leaked document, including underestimates of civilian casualties, and acknowledgment of casualties not admitted to the media, CIA hits, and another Black Ops SF squad called Scorpion 26, but let's get back to the death squad. We don't have to allege that TF 373 is an extrajudicial, fully-illegal assassination team, we have their own logs. Who they killed, tried to kill, killed instead, killed trying to get there, killed covering their tracks. Men, women and children. The logs cover up to November 2009, but we have no reason to think they're not killing still. Task Force 373 operates out of Kabul, Kandahar and Khost, comprised of soldiers of the 7th Special Forces Group of Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. They are transported by Chinook and Cobra helicopters flown by 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, of Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Special Forces Airborne death squads. Or is America inured by our armed drones which assassinate from up high. Whether the trigger man wears a mask in Afghanistan, or sits at a console in Nevada, the hit is a war crime. Outside of a field of battle, it's simply murder. And lookey here, the 7th Special Forces have a patch for their record in El Salvador in 1984... Addressed by their commander in 2001: "From Fort Bragg to Colombia to Venezuela to Peru to Ecuador to Bolivia to Nicaragua to Argentina, you have been instrumental in forging deeper bonds with the democracies of Latin America," So before I let the banana republic slur go. Let's recall that Latin American death squads were often trained at the US School of the Americas, when they or their governments weren't being directed by Americans outright. Or the 7th, the "Devil's Brigade."

“Tie a Yellow Ribbon ‘Round the Old Oak Tree” is welcome home for felons

There's a new yellow ribbon on our block. Anymore, yellow ribbon stickers on cars designate wives of servicemen, or realtors sucking up to the military because the only real estate sales here come from Fort Carson's ever expanding war training. Actually, vehicles of military families are now often festooned wildly with ribbons designating service, regiment and very specific distinctions. Their tailgates mimic the colorful macaroni worn by soldiers on parade. Fine time too, to abandon the old yellow ribbon and the specialization it stood for. "I'm coming home, I've done my time." You remember the lyric. He's about to be released from prison, after three long years, so it wasn't for littering. What has his homecoming to do with US killers overseas except the obvious? Our soldiers at war are serving their time, and there's an argument to be made that they too are war's victims. Hasn't it become fitting that the yellow ribbon of pop music lore forgave a felon? But the song forgave a felon for the crime he'd done, a changed man, now repentant, returning to make a humble appeal for forgiveness. American soldiers coming home offer no sign they are rehabilitated, nor even that they have an inkling of crimes commited, nor certainly that they bear any of the responsibility. Our soldiers coming home probably mirror a real life parolee's likelihood to be a recidivist.

Accounting for IDF missing intelligence

The results of Israel's self-investigation of the Mavi Marmara Massacre are in: surprise, the IDF commandos did no wrong, but were set back by a deficiency of intelligence. It's what many of us were already thinking, but there's another punchline which Israel invites by pairing the deadly raid with IDF "intelligence" assets gone missing. Six passengers of the humanitarian convoy are still unaccounted for. Rumors spread they may have been tossed off the ship, or languish in Israeli detention, but the trouble is, the six are also lacking for anyone missing them. Without friends or families registering concern, the convoy organizers can now deduce that the six were agents of Israel, who elected obviously to stay behind in Israel. Might this be because they were the principal provocateurs brandishing the pipes to give the IDF boarders pretext to fire upon the activists? That would be a "pretext" in hindsight of course, because the record is emerging that the Israeli commandos were firing on the ship well in advance of attempting a boarding party. One of the objectives Israel had in detaining the activists was to prevent their account of the raid from reaching public eyes before the IDF could inundate Youtube with clips of what it planned to pretend had happened. From the video spread round by the IDF, one gets the impression the Israeli soldiers were pummeled to within an inch of their lives. But in reality the soldiers emerged nearly unscathed. Is it possible the pipe-wielders were striking against the deck and serving also to keep the genuine activists at bay? In fact the video footage which the activists succeeded in spiriting past their IDF jailers show the same scene devoid of what Israel described as a "lynch." What may have looked like beatings, from Israel's thermal camera aimed from beside the Marmara, did not register at all from up close. Curiously stealthy choreography. While we look for the incriminating names, here are the US senators and congressmen who've signed on to letters drafted by AIPAC to show their support for Israel's raid on the humanitarian convoy, and to urge President Obama to use the Security Council veto power to block any effort to investigate the killings. Speaking of books… Tim LaHaye.

Tim LaHaye. OK, so that says a LOT in just two words. I know what the Non-Christian opinion is, now for a Christian voice. The dude is selling a Study Bible with a fold out graphical timetable from the start of the tribulation to the Rapture to Armageddon, $49.99 on your credit card. The credit cards that many believe to be a form of The Mark of The Beast. Now, I've heard from somebody, oh, who was it, oh yeah, Solomon, hmmm... "Naked came I into this world, and naked shall I depart, I brought nothing in my hand, and shall take nothing away". "you can't take it with you" So, how does Mr LaHaye plan to transfer those funds to the Bank of Heaven? I'm pretty certain that his Visa is going to be rejected for insufficient funds. That and Visa will probably deny it anyway because they have a clause in the contract that you're not allowed to use your card once you're dead. And there's a list of allowed countries where they'll transfer funds, and I'm certain that Heaven isn't on the list. Once there's a Rapture, if we do get taken out before everything starts getting scary, then all his money would be left to whom, exactly? All The Believers Will Be GONE. Who is going to collect the unclaimed funds? Hmm... The Government, perhaps? The one that's to be headed by Beel-ze-bub in person? (they have to skip around in three separate books of the Bible to piece together the Rapture anyhow, it's not in the Revelation.) If there's no Easy-Way-Out Free pass and we all have to face the tribulation full on, then any money we gave to Mr LaHaye is like, Gonzo, dude. And for the exact same reason. One thing definitely going to be Left Behind is my money. And it's more than the Left Behind series, and a King James Bible that costs less than 5 bucks to print up (I know because there's a bunch of them on the market for $5) and no need to pay royalties for the contents either. He's got a bunch of books and the starting price seems to be $24.99. That means 20 of them would set me back a half grand. There's not much chance Rich Folks are the intended audience. So who does that leave (behind) to fork over the bread? Speaking as a Poor Person or at least Not Leisure Class person, I can confidently state that a half grand is not pocket change for quite a huge percentage of the intended audience. If he was pushing them onto people who DO consider a short stack of Benjamins to be Pocket Change then he's leaving behind substantially more than 80% of the people of the world. There's a recognized sin in every church called Simony. Named for a person in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles named Simon Magus, and is the buying and selling of the Holy Ghost or trying to. Perhaps Mr LaHaye

US inhumanity maxed at Azimuth Limit

"Light 'em all up. Come on, fire!" Watching the leaked combat footage of the helicopter gunships killing unarmed Iraqi civilians in 2007, I'm troubled by my own desensitized response. When I saw earlier leaked videos of an AH-64 vaporizing Iraqi farmers and a C-130 wreaking mayhem in Afghanistan, I remember my real shock at seeing a human life extinguished. This time not even flinch. "Just fuckin', once you get on 'em just open 'em up." Not at the brutality, nor the callousness of the play by play --even as the pilots targeted rescuers trying to help the wounded. I fault the Rules of Engagement that allowed the massacre, not the soldiers' laughing swagger --as I hope they will not begrudge my unguarded satisfaction when eventually spectators will be treated to leaked footage of American soldiers taking some fire. If you watched the video, perhaps you too were wishing that July 12, 2007 had recorded a massive setback for US troops in Iraq, at the height of the "surge" where a whole shitload of "dismounts" had been ambushed by IED explosions in a Baghdad square in the aftermath of a civilian massacre. Those who watched the 39-minute extended version I know were hoping to see a resolution like that, instead of an additional war crime of disproportional force and the targeting of civilians, a Hellfire missile attack on a building into which armed and unarmed men had entered, surrounded by passing innocents and rescuers scrambling to help. There it goes! Look at that bitch go! Patoosh! Ah, sweet! Need a little more room. Nice missile. Does it look good? Sweet! The Army has declared that no further inquiry will be made into the 2007 killing of the two Reuters journalists. Its FOIA requests long thwarted, even Reuters is not expressing outrage at this footage. The corporate media is hoping to let this story fade on the fringe. Does this mean that more pilots and gunners might become emboldened to leak other trophy reels? It doesn't take Nelson Ratings for news outlets to see that viewers are already clamoring for more combat snuff films. We could grant amnesty in exchange for those who turn in the most degenerate sequences. And pretend they'll remain anonymous. Ultimately friends and relatives will be able to place identities with the radio voices. Speaking on one of the clearest channels is the young voiced HOTEL-26, who reported taking fire from the photographers and ID'd the "RPG" with started the whole engagement. Likewise the gunner on CRAZY HORSE-18 who responded "Alright, hahaha, I hit 'em...." is addressed "God damn it, Kyle." And then there's the poor 30mm gunner in CRAZY HORSE-19 who assessed his work thus: Oh yeah, look at that. Right through the windshield! Ha ha! While chomping at the bit to fire upon the improvised ambulance, he was momentarily thwarted by a puzzling "Azimuth Limit" which prevented his shooting. Bloggers are now abuzz to decode the Azimuth Limit which slowed the turkey shoot when none of the gunners were showing restraint. Azimuth is the angular measurement of an object's

Ignoble WWII bombing of Coventry commemorated with coined slur, ours

Here's a bit of WWII distortion the History Channel is passing off as, um, history. Did you know that those dirty Krauts leveled the English city of Coventry so completely that they coined a word to celebrate it? Apparently that term was "Coventrated." Oh, it's a real verb alright -- trouble is, it's English. The British intelligence office seized upon the conjugated Coventriert to mean: subjected to heavy bombardment, and pretended the Huns were such bastards they commemorated the atrocity by mocking their victims in the Teutonic dictionary. Also problematic, the barbaric Teutons failed to "coventrate" with equal efficacy anywhere else. But the Allies sure did. By night and by day, the UK and US bombers respectively "coventrated" the German and Hungarian homelands, with all the more ferocity because they were dishing the Nazis, haha, a taste of their own medicine. The bombing of Coventry was tragedy enough, and might have been ameliorated had Churchill responded to the intelligence forewarning but risk betraying that the Brits were intercepting Germany's secret ciphers. Allowing Coventry to fall victim was one of the high prices of keeping ULTRA a secret, but Hitler's choice to bomb the historic city and its famed Cathedral was to provoke much enmity with the English public. Britain's propaganda ministry was able to compound the resentment against the Germans for the devastation of Coventry by portraying the enemy as not just Philistine, but Bombast. Of course more German cities suffered under the 24-hour US-UK tag-team bombing raids, many incurring orders of magnitude greater casualties than the 600 dead of Coventry. Notable among the Axis cities was the medieval capital of Dresden which possessed not one legitimate military target. No mention of those victims in the History Channel's records of military misdeeds, meanwhile propagandist Newscorp property HarperCollins is weaving the coventriert detail for revisionist Dresden-deniers. The stories of America's firebombing of Japanese cities have already been suppressed. Apologists have long been at work justifying the use of atomic weapons against civilians in Hiroshima and Nagazaki. Where were the propagandists to conjugate Hiroshima? America's other unique bombing method would later be described minus geographical references, as simple carpet bombing. The History Channel is part of the A&E network, co-owed by warmongers Disney, Hearst and NBC/GE. Their mention of "coventrate" came in a program about Lao Tsu's Art of War, as his military edicts might have predicted, Nostradamus-like, the outcome of the Viet Nam War. Here's an example of the program's perspective: The Vietcong lost the public support of many Vietnamese when they executed thousands of South Vietnamese under the employ of the US. Meanwhile the American cause lost its public support when the US public caught sight of photographs of US war casualties. Sound like a fair comparison? The Vietnamese weren't demoralized by the millions killed in their midst, while the antiwar movement was not galvanized by the revelations of US atrocities? Right.

Close the schools to fund the Drones.. Kansas City Schools face massive cuts

Public Education? We don need no steenkeeng public Education! Hitler said that Universal Public Education was the most corrosive poison that Liberalism could inflict on itself, that the youth need only be "sufficiently educated to be efficient coolies in our industries" and that the Military Service should be the primary focus of Education. While looking up the precise quote (from a book written by one of Hitler's spiritual advisers, never spoken publicly but a private conversation with him) I ran into Google Page after Google Page of Right Wing Freaks who want to dismantle access to Education for the poor, just like their Confederate ancestors hanged people for teaching Black people to read and write, and even had Slave Code laws forbidding Blacks from learning to read. After all, why would anybody need a quality education in order to succeed as a soldier? And, as Herr Schicklgrueber pointed out (for non-students, that's Hitler's paternal grandfathers name, his daddy was born out of wedlock, unlike the Self Made bastards who worship his philosophy.) Meanwhile, the Rogue State is deploying more Drones. Drones where the only skill you need to operate them is playing video games. And of course the Human drones who are "just following orders" and for whom an education that stresses logic would not only be superfluous, but counter to the whole mission. "You will kill these people because you're told to do so". SAY WHUT? "We say there are WMDs in Iraq, therefore you will go and slaughter anybody in Iraq who does not bow before the emperor". (The babies are just "bonus") You see, if the "troops" were educated in things that relate to decision making, like, for instance, questioning assertions, using logic, employing Empirical Logic (which counters Imperial Dogma) they would have asked a few questions, such as: According to the Penta-Goons, the Iraqi Army was composed of mostly poorly educated, fed, trained, paid Teenage Conscripts who were in really bad physical shape and had really low morale. That's logical, many Puppet Dictatorships who were either overtly or covertly supported by the Reagan Crime Cartel actually have exactly those issues. Next according to Bush, the nerve gas, a million pounds of it in 55 gallon containers, was moved at an hours notice ahead of the U.N. inspectors. Nerve gas which is volatile, or would be if it even existed and requires special training to handle, special storage facilities, and even with those conditions met, has a nasty habit of leaking and causing civilian casualties even in the United States Armories, which are usually miles away from towns. 55 gallon drums which would weigh 450 pounds apiece. 2400 of them. Moved quickly by skinny, underfed teenage boys who did not and could not POSSIBLY have the level of training necessary to handle Nerve Gas. With a HUGE LIE like that as the very basis for every other statement, a person trained in logic and the Scientific Method of analysis (Empirical) would then judge each consecutive statement and any concurrent statements as being very likely untrue. So

Karl Rove admits error in Iraq strategy

ERROR? wtf? Since when, exactly, does a long string of bald-faced Lies work out as being mistakes? Saying something is orange when it's actually red is a "mistake". Losing count of how many beers you drank before getting behind the wheel is a "mistake". Voting for Bush once would be a "mistake" and twice would be unspeakable stupidity, (or Complicity).   Underestimating the strength of the will of Human Beings to not be conquered, murdered and robbed might be a very large and stupid mistake, but once it's been pointed out that it never works and has historically FAILED every damn time, then it becomes Sheer Arrogance to push on with it. Not a "mistake". After being warned, calling everybody who warned you "Traitors, Idiots, Moonbats, Bleeding Hearts, Deluded, Crazy, Terrorist Sympathizers" and so forth, then having your collective nose rubbed in the big steaming pile of your own "mistake"... and then pushing on... that's not a "mistake". That's, in the case of sending Americans to kill and die for your money and your arrogance, Treason. And Murder. Thousands of counts of Capital Murder just for the American Soldiers, made airtight Capital Murder by the Patriot Act and several Executive Orders that Karl Rove wrote. Any one count of a serviceman murdered by their treasonous actions would get the entire Bush Administration including Rove and their Ministry of Propaganda Fox News HANGED. Much as I'm opposed to Capital Punishment, I believe I'd buy tickets to the event. Then there are the murders of Iraqi and Afghan and Somali and Sudanese and Pakistani and Uighur and Filipino and the list goes on Civilians and Prisoners of War, Each one of them an act of Capital Murder by reason of it being Terrorism. And again, through the definitions provided by Rove and Jeb Bush and Condi Rice and their fellow PNAC Imperialists. Which one would be a Mistake?

But here in this graveyard, it’s still no man’s land…

The countless white crosses in mute witness stand To man's blind indiff'rence to his fellow man And to a whole generation That were butchered, and Damned. Sacrifice is something that makes holy. Not "something that makes dead". The last surviving Canadian veteran of World War One died last night. He was 15 when he enlisted, and when the Canuckistan Army found out they didn't send him into the meat grinder. That's good. There were millions of others not so lucky, many of them recruited using false ID and the Armies "unofficially" consented. Wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean, Ay? Make a (dead) man out of the lad. Then the segue into the REAL meat of the story, the "shared sacrifice" of Canucks and Yanks to "make a better (Superior Culture) world for the Afghans" Lyin' sacks of shit, those propagandists. Building a nation wasn't the goal and they know it. Making revenge against a Boogie-Man phantom who might not be alive even. A Goldberg for our Big Brother to stand nobly against. Give us your freedoms and your servitude and your service or Le Tonton Osama will get you and blow up your buildings. So they "baptize" sanctify this "sacrifice" that is really just another murder in the ongoing Mass Murder Spree by the Modern Great Powers, by equating a Canadian Soldier getting blown away by an IED in Afghanistan with the Millions who were caused to die in most unpleasant ways in "The Great War". In America, where the Bigger is Always Better advertizing has smitten our land with its vile plague for a century now, "That's Great!" has come to mean "Very Good" instead of "Very Large". While the Recruiters, here, in Britain, Canada, France, Germany, ... they use the senseless slaughter of the "Great War", a war which resolved absolutely NOTHING, besides getting rid of the Tsar, big deal, one ROYAL pain in the ass out of many... A war which nobody won. And we're quite obviously still fighting... to justify throwing people at each other to smite each other with the sword, that they might die... The only beneficiaries of it are the Profiteers, as usual. Not the Afghan people, not the Canadian people, not the American people.. But we're told, again, that this is a "Noble Sacrifice". Screw that. Throw the Vanderbilts and the Bushes, the Rockefellers, the Filthy rich bastards, into a stadium, fill it with knee deep mud, and take their money, throw it into the mud, all the Krupp heirs and heiresses, the Scions of the Royal Houses, throw in some truly barbaric weapons, and have them kill Each Other for their foul bloodstained gold. Lock all the doors and build a steel and concrete wall around it so nobody has to see them doing it to Each Other for a pleasant change. Then never let the survivors out. Force them to eat their gold. See how long they last. That's a fantasy though. So is the fantasy they sell to us at the cost of our blood. The fantasy that it's

Colorado reps support Israel war crimes

All 7 of Colorado's US representatives voted to put their congressional stamp of approval on Israel's war crimes in Gaza, joining 337 more yeas for House Resolution 867, Calling on the President and the Secretary of State to oppose unequivocally any endorsement or further consideration of the “Report of the United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict.” What are US Congressmen doing standing between Israel and every other nation (except for the US and its territories) united in wishing to enforce international law? Did you elect your representative to brownshirt for Zionism? Below are lists of the 344 yeas (179 of the Dems), and the 36 nays. WHO VOTED TO SUPPRESS THE GOLDSTONE REPORT: To recommend that the US use its veto in the UN Security Council to reject the will of the UN General Assembly: (At best these legislators are bowing to the tremendous pressures imposed by AIPAC and other Jewish community lobbies. Army offers Mental Resiliency Training to harden the conscience against PTSD

What do you make of the VA study indicating that more stateside military drone operators suffer higher Post Traumatic Stress Disorder than soldiers in actual combat? It may point to the obvious, that PTSD comes less from being shell-shocked under fire and more from committing deeds to haunt the conscience. If our troops weren't being asked to act inhumanely, perhaps we'd see fewer suicides, or homeless and maladapted vets. Instead the Army has announced it will give all its soldiers "mental resiliency training." This might inoculate their fear of coming home to face their loved ones, but will it steel them against redemption?

Krav Maga is martial art of war crime

I recently overheard a karate instructor mention an Israeli hand-to-hand fighting technique called Krav Maga being adopted by paramilitary forces worldwide, which of course excites the youngsters. So I looked it up. Speaking for social justice bloggers everywhere, I have to admit, Israel is just a gift that keeps on giving!   Exhibit 1: online images of Krav Maga fighters are color coded to show which is the attacker. Perhaps because this fighting style is a reality based training method. Exhibit 2: Krav Maga teaches discipline like the Asian martial art traditions, but does not assume a pretense of honorable conduct. Its rules are: no rules and no restraint. Doesn't that sound familiar? From descriptions of its ethics, I found it hard to distinguish Krav Maga from bar brawling. To judge by some online disclaimers appended to the principles of Krav Maga, of few webmasters may have become uncomfortable with the similarity they bore with the IDF's code of conduct in Gaza. Here, for example, are its basic principles:         * You're not going to care how much damage you're going to cause.         * Cause as much damage as possible and run.         * Do not try to prolong a fight. Do what needs to be done and escape. Expressed in more formal terms:         * Do not get hurt         * Neutralize your attacker as fast as possible         * Go from defending to attacking as quickly as possible         * Use the body's natural reflexes         * Strike at any vulnerable point         * Use any tool or object available to you Of course applied to military strategy, this could mean the disproportionate application of force, and using weapons that might have been banned by international treaty. A survey of Krav Maga training websites reveal it's based on Israel's history of fighting for its survival in the Middle East, and by the way, it is not a sport. Krav Maga is an evolving art that adapts to an ever changing world, both locally and globally. As a result, Krav Maga is the ideal self-defense system for use on the street -- a place where no rules exist.

Atomic’s one handed coders rebrand Fallujah game as Six Hours in My Lai

NMT has obtained screenshots from Atomic Games 'Six Days in Fallujah,' traded p2p and remarketed as Six Hours in My Lai. There was no budget to modify the OIF coalition uniforms to resemble the Vietnam GIs, but who's looking at the clothing? Nostalgic vets will find the rape reenactments unremarkably familar. In reality the mayhem of My Lai and My Khe lasted 28 hours, not six, but industry research indicates that cyber ejaculators rarely have more than a six hour window before a landlady looks in on them. Gaming studies remain inconclusive about whether virtual sex stimulation augments with cumulative scorekeeping. It will require a scientific leap before computer health levels can fortify a real-world refractory period. Otherwise virtual serial binges cannot build on themselves like the longer pyramid games of Civilization or World Of Warcraft. Japanese game publisher Konami, forced by civilian outcry to drop a distribution deal for Atomic's Fallujah first person shooter, is pleased that the salient gangbang modules will find their way to end-user Marine Corps wannabes. Konami already has a bestselling Raper II title, an Okinawa schoolgirl adventure for American servicemen. Konami's own one-handed programmers are set to adapt the Atomic code for the Japanese market. The human trafficking of Iraqi orphans into US contractor Army brothels becomes Korean Comfort Women; US combat depravity becomes The Rape of Nanking. Deprived of being able to cash in on the Fallujah atrocity allure, Atomic Games is looking for sympathy from the Support the Troops crowd. Atomic laid off the soldiers on its staff, issuing this statement: "We wish to assure the dozens of Marine veterans who have collectively invested hundreds of hours in this project that, while we have been badly wounded, we will fight on. The stories of your brothers' courage and sacrifice in Fallujah must be shared with the world." By historical accounts, are they referring to the virtual sequences between the levels of action which act like silent movie inter-titles to link the running and jumping to a bigger story? Where the plot points are inviolate can be the only teaching moments in an otherwise chose-your-adventure killing spree. Where will there be opportunity for gamers to show courage and sacrifice with only a menu of rape and murder? Let's be clear. The Fallujah video game was not about soldiering. It did not mean to replicate the experience of 99.9% of the American soldiers who served in the battle for Fallujah. A first person shooter is not about following orders, falling in, or self-sacrifice. An FPS is about four wheeling a personal path of personal destruction. Atomic's Six Days in Fallujah was a spring break for Grand Theft Auto sex tourists. NMT is equally concerned about the lost Fallujah stories which may have been the narrative of the gameplay. The world should hear of the turning back all male refugees, of the White Phosphorous and sniper Free Fire Zones. The lost Fallujah action sequences no doubt exploited the armored vehicles crushing the Iraqi wounded, and

US extrajudicial reach extends to assassination of spouses and progeny

In a demonstration that they are closing in on Pakistani Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud, the US military is claiming success with a drone attack on his father-in-law's Waziristan home, where a missile killed Mehsud's second wife, three unidentified civilians, and wounded four children. The US has posted a $5 million bounty on the head of Mehsud, based on charges he bore responsibility in Benazir Bhutto's 2007 assassination, and for other suicide bombings. All charges he denies, but the Taliban leader won't face his accusers long enough for unmanned drones to launch a missile his way. Zanghra village had been targeted by US drones before, but no bounty had yet been announced for Mehsud's extended family members. That proved to be no indication that US drone pilots in Nevada would not be carving notches for them. While American warriors, by doing their missile targeting from the continental US, have made legitimate military targets of Air Force bases in Nevada, California and Colorado. Now they expand the battlefield to include combatant wives, relatives and progeny. As it should be. (Imagine the relatives and cronies of our economic-war combatants, of our war criminal leaders, and our war industry profiteers; their folks at home contemplating their own culpability and vulnerability to suffer for the crimes by which their benefactors were able to enrich them. You don't have to be remote piloting the Predators or Reapers, nor raining the Hellfire missiles upon America's civilian adversaries to merit responsibility -- it's enough to be hollering along to "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue.") And, as in the case of Baitullah Mehsud, the extra-judicial assassinations are acceptable for even non-combatants, suspected-of-crimes-only, and their family and extended family.

If others can kill, Israel wants permit too

June 6th is the 42nd anniversary of Israel's seizure of Gaza. At right is a UK newspaper ad placed by the Anti-Defamation League, one of Israel's myriad damage control engines, when UK students were calling to boycott Israel over its attacks in Gaza. 400,000 killed in Sudan, so Israel should get a pass on its 1,300 victims in Gaza? It sounds like the IDF expects allowances to be made for its periodic ethnic cleansing, permits maybe, like polluters trade carbon credits. The US Humane Society euthanizes 5.4 million dogs every year, no doubt it's just a double standard to demonize Israel for bagging their 1,300 in Gaza. Where there are fingers pointing at Sudan, there are Zionists diverting attention from their final Palestinian solution. No one's crying GENOCIDE in Darfur, calling for military intervention against the Muslim regime but Israel, the US and George Clooney. I just read an eyewitness recollection of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, published on this 20th anniversary, by a reporter who went on to fault China less for its human rights transgressions than for Chinese investments in Sudan and Iran. Sudan? IRAN? What was an evocative historical account began to smell of Zionist agitation... Of course the WSJ columnist turned out to be a "conservative" who also labels those who stand up for Palestinian rights as anti-Semites.

Israeli soldiers admit targeting civilians

“That’s the beauty of Gaza. You see a man walking, he doesn’t have to have a weapon, and you can shoot him.” --One of the testimonies collected by the Rabin pre-military institute, surveying IDF soldiers about war crimes reported to have been committed in Gaza, in the Times Online article Israeli soldiers admit to deliberate killing of Gaza civilians. Another: "When we entered a house, we were supposed to bust down the door and start shooting inside and just go up storey by storey… I call that murder. Each storey, if we identify a person, we shoot them." There were also reports of military rabbis who distributed pamphlets which described the Gaza incursion as part of a greater religious war. Said one IDF soldier: “All these articles had a clear message: we are the Jewish people, we have come to the land by miraculous means, and now we have to fight to remove the Gentiles who are getting in our way and preventing us from occupying the Holy Land… a great many soldiers had a feeling throughout this operation of a religious war.”

STOP ISRAEL Sunday, January 18, 1PM

WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO JOLT THE CONSCIENCE OF ISRAEL?! IDF killings continue. Soldiers are being given "free-fire-zone" license!   Meet this weekend, SUN, Jan 18 at 1PM, Acacia Park, at the torii gate, a traditional site for antiwar protest.   The Shinto arch at Nevada Ave and Bijou Street commemorates our sister city of Fuji-yoshida, Japan. The plaque reads: "the purpose of the sister city relationship is to promote understanding between the people of our two countries and cities"

Iraqi POW sentenced for resisting US

Hold your fucking horses of the Apocalypse! Can you believe this red, white, our colors don't smell, shit? An Iraqi fighter is sentenced to hang for killing three US soldiers? We're condemning normal acts of war because they make American crimes look bombastic in comparison? The crime committed in this case, is a military injustice. Why charge this Iraqi? For killing his US adversaries in 2006, or for showing unsportsmanlike behavior in how he killed them? Do we hold the same standard for our killers in uniform? Do we overlook the conduct of US predator/reaper drone virtual-pilots sniping at foreign civilians from video consoles stateside? The world has been shown that US soldiers can kill, rape, burn, torture, go on homicidal rampages, on duty or off, and pass go, and collect $200. Our private mercenaries are allowed to do worse apparently, and not even the Iraqi people can object. In fact, negotiations on the US lease agreement of occupied Iraq have stalled over the Iraqi demands to be able to hold US soldiers accountable for crimes they commit at least while not on official duty. Forget on. Those are war crimes. Those crimes will be accountable one day to a world court, and there's no statute of limitations. Speaking of which, prosecuting an enemy for his right to defend himself and his homeland is in itself a war crime. The Iraqi insurgent resistance fighters and the Iraqi people are protected by the laws of war. Iraq is an occupied country, trying to fend off its invaders. To execute this Iraqi will be a further war crime, but what care we? In for a penny, in for 1.2 million Iraqis. Sue us.

US War Crimes on trial this weekend

The War Crimes Conference begins in Andover Massachusetts this weekend. Gallows have yet to be erected but the proceedings will be televised.

Will the bear ever break its pact with the Devil?

The Russian bear has made some pretty stupid political deals in recent modern times. Almost all of us know about the Stalin-Hitler Pact and the horrible price Russia paid for the stupidity of Joseph Stalin, but few of us have thought much about the stupid pact the Russians now have had with our own US Government Devil. Since the US dropped the former Soviet Union out of existence the new Russian capitalist regime has pretty much let the Devil have its own way all around the planet, but is that about to end? Maybe, and if so how would that be done? Russia's UN draft condemning the US murder of dozens of innocent civilian kids in Afghanistan is one indication of how the bear will move through the forest to confound The Devil. One is tempted to forget and have out of mind how Russia has passively allowed the US to rampage across Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan while supporting this Devil diplomatically? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Without the Russian bear on board the United Nations is left exposed as a total fraud. NATO then also becomes naked in the wind. n What has the bear been thinking by being so quiet for so long? Did it really think that once again a modern day version of the Stalin Hitler Pact was the way to go forth and prosper? Then what a dumb bear it has been! The bear doesn't want to break its pact with Our Devil, and without China at its side feels all alone. But it really has no choice at this point. It has to begin to oppose the US and its European cohorts as they commit genocide against Iraq and threaten to do so elsewhere, too. It's time to pull the rug from out underneath of Our Devil before its too late.

American barbarians at work in Afghanistan

....An operation by international forces in western Afghanistan on Friday killed 76 civilians, including 50 children and 19 women, the Afghan interior ministry said. Many of the cowardly American barbarians that bomb civilians from way up on high received their military 'combat' training right here in Colorado Springs. I shouldn't really call this training to slaughter children from high up in the air combat training though. Coalition air strikes kill 76 Afghan civilians: Govt Where's the combat in this? These people who train to fly for the Pentagon are merely cowardly careerists who don't give a damn about people at all.

Air National Guardsmen are aiming Preditor and Reaper Drones from home

Bush has brought the Global War On Terrorism to American shores! Air National Guardsmen deployed at stateside bases are piloting and aiming the Predator and Reaper drones against peoples in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and victims yet unreported. Do you doubt they might be Filipinos, Colombians, Bolivians and South Georgians? If any of those aforementioned want to defend themselves, they could only attack those shooting at them from Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas. Residents of those states should know they are living in war zones if they live adjacent these installations. Do you know any of these soldiers? The specialists who guide and track the munitions directly to their target's alarmed faces are called "Sensor Operators" and have been experiencing PTSD right at home! 214th Reconnaissance Group Tucson, Arizona 163rd Reconnaissance Wing & 196th Reconnaissance Squadron March Air Reserve Base, California 432nd Reconnaissance Wing Creech Air Force Base, Nevada 14th Reconnaissance Wing Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, Houston, Texas In case the CBS article is removed, we'll mirror it here: The Air National Guardsmen who operate Predator drones over Iraq via remote control, launching deadly missile attacks from the safety of Southern California 7,000 miles away, are suffering some of the same psychological stresses as their comrades on the battlefield. Working in air-conditioned trailers, Predator pilots observe the field of battle through a bank of video screens and kill enemy fighters with a few computer keystrokes. Then, after their shifts are over, they get to drive home and sleep in their own beds. But that whiplash transition is taking a toll on some of them mentally, and so is the way the unmanned aircraft's cameras enable them to see people getting killed in high-resolution detail, some officers say. "When you come in (with a fighter jet) at 500-600 mph, drop a 500-pound bomb and then fly away, you don't see what happens," said Col. Albert K. Aimar, who is commander of the 163rd Reconnaissance Wing here and has a bachelor's degree in psychology. "Now you watch it all the way to impact, and I mean it's very vivid, it's right there and personal. So it does stay in people's minds for a long time." He said the stresses are "causing some family issues, some relationship issues." He and other Predator officers would not elaborate. But the 163rd has called in a full-time chaplain and enlisted the services of psychologists and psychiatrists to help ease the mental strain on these remote-control warriors, Aimar said. Similarly, chaplains have been brought in at Predator bases in Texas, Arizona and Nevada. In interviews with five of the dozens of pilots and sensor operators at the various bases, none said they had been particularly troubled by their mission, but they acknowledged it comes with unique challenges, and sometimes makes for a strange existence. "It's bizarre, I guess," said Lt. Col. Michael Lenahan, a Predator pilot and operations director for the 196th Reconnaissance Squadron here. "It is quite different, going from potentially shooting a missile, then going to your kid's soccer game." Among the stresses cited by the operators and their commanders: the

Time for Iraq to Pay the Bill? YHGTBFKM

The NYT editorial pages decry "Time for Iraq to Pay the Bill." Oh, really? Sign that editor up for charges, and every single US politician on that bandwagon. It was indeed part of the pitch to convince the public that America could pay for this war. Iraq reconstruction would be financed using Iraq's oil revenues. Sounds like a great business plan. Except it's robbery. In war-making terms: pillage. It must simply sting, that America expend so much money to "liberate" Iraq, to restart its oil production, to position our oil companies to collect their cut, only to see Iraq accumulate oil monies while the US public is saddled with the cost or Iraq's reconstruction. But we destroyed Iraq. It's our responsibility to rebuild. Shouldn't this go without saying? Instead our talking heads are saying it's the exact inverse. Do you suppose you could interest rapists to collect fees from their victims for services rendered? Was the sexual attention wanted or unwanted? Arguable, in a rapist's mind. It don't work that way, do it? It's the same in rape and war. The Geneva Conventions spell out the ethic for military peanut brains who need it explained. You are not permitted to finance your war with the spoils of your invasion. There are no spoils of war. That's pillage. Reconstruction-wise, Colin Powell famously put this concept in layman terms for us consumers: You break it, you fix it. You don't charge the Pottery barn for a contract to have you fix it. It's there in the laws of war. Do they teach anything in military school? In law school? The rhetorical answer is yes they do. Ergo, these jackasses, brutes, cheerleaders and their investors, are criminals. Make 'em pay for their scaffolds.
