2 AM, time to piss off the Navy.

So this is the USN “crackerjack” work uniform blouse, from behind. Notice the two stars on a broad field of blue. That’s, according to my brother the Sailor, symbolic. The stars stand for the two times the USN fought the Royal Navy, and won. The extra large field is to make room for more stars as needed. A wonderful imperial gesture, yes? “We are mighty, you shall obey us!”

Then there’s BP. Which was founded as an adjunct to the Royal Navy and had the Royal Navy and even the U.S. Navy fight to secure their supply sources, which, surprise surprise surprise, none of which are actually in England. The propaganda bit they put out when they helped launch World War One, “That small nations might have the same rights as the Great Powers…” purest bullshit. Then as now, it was all about the Rich getting richer and using the blood and labor of the poor to do it. The kicker of it came down this past spring… when British Petroleum, that ol’ devilish offshoot of the British Royal Navy, Bitch-slapped the U.S. Navy in American territorial waters. Guess you kids in Uncle Sams Canoe Club should take those stars off?

May God have mercy on the next nation who is so unfortunate to discover that they, too, have United States and British oil buried under their sands.

They’ll be reduced to puppet dictatorships like Iraq and Kuwait and Nigeria and Ghana and Texas and Colorado have. There will be a top social layer of Kiss-Ass Experts like al Maliki and a vast underclass who will either be slaves to the Korporatisch Imperium or hunted, and their children as well, for the “crime” of being insurgents and resisting the Mighty United States and British Military.
They’ll be “free” do obey, conform, comply.

Who decided Ghurkas make good peacekeepers?

So the Haitian cholera outbreak is being investigated by the U.N. and the suspect so far is a Nepalese “peacekeeping” base with sewage issues, in a blunt and literal sense.
This is the device they’re most famous for perfecting and using.
It’s a machete, really, with the bent-forward blade, which can cut through bamboo, Mother Nature’s own Structural Tubing. Modify the use without modifying the tool and you have an efficient slash knife that can take off a human head with one slash. No mean feat there.

They’ve a reputation for fierceness in battle. Very warlike when they feel the need and really PEACE anything doesn’t leap to mind when thinking about these dudes. But, they’re part of the U.N. mission.
Which is only a side issue, the U.N. itself is supposedly in charge of facility maintenance and that would include the plumbing. So the shit gets dumped, really, back into the U.N.s front parlor. They own the shit.

Meanwhile, back at Southeast Asia, there was yet another volcanic eruption and tsunami. There’s of course no funds for fixing the massive human needs there simply because A Certain Unnameable Society is simultaneously plundering and destroying the resources of the entire world including any funding for humanitarian needs.

Too busy meeting the InHumanitarian Needs, I suppose. Oh, and the Koalition of the Killing forces employ Ghurkas to do that too.

How the US helped out in Indonesia’s forgotten genocide of 500,000 dead

indonesia-klan.jpg We get fed so much bullshit all the time about how supposedly the US has always been this great beacon of light in the ‘civilized world’. But did you know that the US under Lyndon Johnson helped create a genocide that murdered at least 500,000 people in the island country of Indonesia? Yes, this was a MADE IN THE US genocide, People, and the Associated Press revisits the scene in this brief report online today. AP Exclusive: Indonesians recount role in massacre

So the next time some anti-Communist fanatic starts off about how communists supposedly always kill people wholesale, remember capitalist Indonesia. Remember capitalist Nazi Germany and capitalist WW2 Japan, too. Millions of people were murdered in the fight of these capitalist dictators against Communism. And remember, too, the United States of America which also murdered millions of people in that same fight by the international Business community against their own workers all over the world. Capitalism is a murderous system of rule by the rich, over the many poor. Yes, the US has been involved in many, many genocides in fairly recent times, and not just in the distant past.

Indonesians suspicious of Namru-2 Lab

Bird Flu germ warfare the killer whale of chemical weapon ordnanceHave you heard of NAMRU-2? It’s a US military laboratory set off limits on an Indonesian college campus in Jakarta. The lab’s stated purpose is to study tropical diseases coming from the region. But Indonesians have become suspicious about the application of what the US is learning, and why the lab workers need diplomatic immunity.

The secretive lab has yet to share information with Indonesian researchers. There has been no instance when the Navy Medical Research Unit 2 has assisted with Indonesia’s health system. Then there’s the specter of the lab being administrated under the authority of our Department of Defense. Indonesians point to the certainty that this also means the US intelligence community.

Might it be fair to wonder what Namru-2 is working on and for who?

As Indonesians are raising questions about the foreign lab’s legitimacy, their political representatives have succeeded in stalling negotiations for a new lease. Would “curious” describe the current sticking point: Americans are insisting on diplomatic immunity for the lab staff?
