Best Presidental Quote EVER

Better than Nixon saying (as Vice President) “you won’t have Dick Nixon around anymore” Of course he lied. Later he said “I am not a crook!” Again, he perjured.

Trump was very succinct. To the point. “I’m fucked” … actually, he’s sodomized with a shovel, sideways so it would hurt more.

USA, al-Qaeda, Saudi Arabia, and Israel are making war on people of Yemen

What an unGodly mess! The insanity that is US foreign policy in the Middle East is destroying totally yet another region still! However, nobody in the US has been paying much attention to Barack Obama’s drone attacks inside Yemen nor the D.C. regime’s support for Saudi Arabian funded Islamic terrorism world wide, except when the blowback really gets hot. And now it’s beginning to heat up, because the people of Yemen are sick of US and Saudi imposed terrorism against them. The israelis go along for the bloody war mongering ride, too, since much of the Yemen population is supportive of Iran. And that of course is also why Saudi Arabia is spearheading the new fighting. See Yemen crisis: Who is fighting whom? for some much needed background info in regard to the hellhole that US foreign policy has made inside Yemen.

Yemen is one of the world’s great cultures with great food, music, and beautiful architecture. See Music of Yemen, Sana’a – Ya Rabbat el-Husn (Oh Goddess of Beauty) to sample some of the music. These are the people that the war mongers will be killing….

Obama cried because the Connecticut schoolchildren were not Pakistani. Is that statement untrue?

Lucky to be an American BabySo, no, the twenty schoolchildren killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut were not Pakistani. That’s apparently what everyone is so upset about. I’m rather embarrassed how distraught Americans are about the Connecticut school shooting, considering equivalent child-massacres happen daily in Pakistan, victims of US drones, to no public outcry. In Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and all the far reaches of our multinational corporate empire, child killing is public policy, far from being a subject of public anguish.

Now I’m besieged with invitations to join local and statewide protests to “end gun violence.” I say YES, so long as I can ALSO commemorate the thousands of children killed by US drones and US troops. “Don’t politicize this tragedy” is the indignant objection. Classic.

Might there be a value to hopping aboard this bandwagon opportunity to call for gun control and mental-healthcare reform? Maybe by showing solidarity with this profound revulsion to our cultural violence, a social justice movement can broaden a reciprocal sense of solidarity for the larger pool of its victims? I doubt it. Showing antiwar support for veterans of war, for example, hasn’t yet tempered anyone’s senseless enthusiasm for militarism or blind patriotism, or I’ve yet to see it.

A disclaimer: my apparent insensitive is helped by the fact that I don’t watch television. I’m guessing the media are really cooking this tragedy to an unrelenting boil. Probably my lack of exposure has rendered me unfathomably incapable of addressing the subject with sufficient tact. I’ve no idea the orchestrated catharsis indulged upon the viewers over dead American children. My profound condolences to the parents, but curses upon the media for exploiting the event to condemn lone crazies and not to curb the culture of violence which breeds them.

Frank Lloyd Wright said television was chewing gum for the eyes. Turn it off. You’ll quickly see what an emotional maelstrom they’ve made of the Sandy Hook shootings. Imagine if they created that kind of drama about war’s atrocity. We’d have viewers clamoring to end war. This might give you some idea about why the ongoing Sandy Hook fallout leaves such a bad taste.

My advice to nearly all Americans parents upset about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting: get a hold of yourselves. These weren’t your children. Your schools and schoolchildren are many leagues out of harm’s way. Connecticut may as well be Pakistan for all you care.

Barack Obama Administration uses hunger as weapon of war against the people of Yemen

Americans as a mass are so completely outside of the making of any political decisions in their supposed democracy, that they hardly now bat an eye at news about the US/ Pentagon war making in places like Bahrain, Syria, Libya, and Yemen. It’s just background noise to most Americans these days, and people go about their daily lives totally oblivious to what the Pentagon is doing to the peoples of other nations of the world. It’s not like most of us feel that there is anything we can do about it!

This week the US basically declared war on the country of Syria by openly declaring that it was arming the opposition to the government there, and here is news now about how half the people of Yemen are starving, after years of US backed military dictatorship and direct US military operations there in Yemen. Yemen food crisis reaching 'catastrophic proportions'

Does Barack Obama want to change the situation in Yemen for the betterment of the people there? No. Instead all the evidence points to the US and Obama using hunger as a basic weapon of Pentagon warfare… that, and direct terrorism as in US interventionism inside Syria.

‘Eat and do as we say, or die of hunger and watch your kids die first before you, Moms and Dads of Yemen.’

US military continues to back up terrorist Yemen dictatorship against their own people

‘Washington has stepped up drone attacks in Yemen since President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi took office in February. The Pentagon said earlier this month it had resumed sending military trainers to the Arab state. On Saturday, the head of the U.S. Special Operations Forces met Yemen’s chief of staff and said the United States was committed to supporting Yemen, the state news agency Saba reported.’ See Yemen clashes kill 34 militants, soldiers: officials and also here is more info about yet more US military operations in Yemen below…

‘At a Pentagon press conference on Tuesday (this past week), Defense Department spokesman Capt. John Kirby described the activities of US troops in Yemen as “counterterrorism operations,” while repeatedly refusing to provide any details. He allowed that American forces “do conduct operations with the Yemenis to get after terrorist targets.”

Meanwhile, the Obama administration Wednesday issued an executive order empowering the Treasury Department to target the US-based assets of anyone deemed by the White House to be threatening “the peace, security and stability” of Yemen.

Targeted by the measures are not the insurgents being hunted down by the CIA and the US military, but rather relatives of the former US-backed dictator, Saleh, who are refusing to relinquish their grip over key levers of power in the country. These include Brigadier Gen. Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, the former president’s son, who headed the Republican Guard, and Brigadier Gen. Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, the former president’s nephew, who commands Yemen’s Central Security Forces. Another nephew, Tareq Saleh, has failed to cede command of the presidential guard, and the president’s half-brother, Gen. Mohammed Saleh Al-Ahmar, staged a strike by the country’s air force after Hadi decreed that he give up its command to become an assistant to the minister of defense.

The unstable and faction-ridden regime backed by Washington sits on top of what is the Arab world’s poorest country, 55 percent of whose population subsist on less than $2 a day and where the unemployment rate has risen to 53 percent. According to a recent UN report, nearly one million Yemeni children suffer from “acute malnutrition,” and roughly a quarter million of them “are at risk of dying” unless they receive immediate aid.’ …..See US drone strikes kill civilians in Yemen

Obama continues to support the military dictatorship in Yemen

The US government continues to support military dictatorship in Yemen as well as doing the exact same thing in Bahrain. The excuse as always in the Middle East is that it is part of the fight against a basically now totally defunct Al Qaeda. Actually US government continuing support to the dictatorships of the Middle East is a form of state sponsored terrorism against the Arab people. The US government is supporting terrorism in the Middle East as it has also been doing in Latin America.

Obama and the Democratic Party still continue to carry out the foreign policies of the Republicans, so nothing much has really been changed in the last 3 and 1/2 years. Both corporate US parties support using state terrorism in other peoples’ countries. Because of the constant US promoted warfare in Yemen, the people are beginning to starve there, same as has happened in Somalia. The US people are responsible for this.

‘Saleh’s successor and former deputy, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, took office in February in a U.S.-backed power transfer deal. He has since ramped up the fight against al-Qaida’s branch in Yemen, which the U.S. says is one of the group’s most active. The White House’s top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, met with Hadi on Sunday in the capital, Sanaa. Hadi’s office said in a statement that the Yemeni leader briefed Brennan on the army’s progress against al-Qaida in the south. Brennan, who also met with the head of Yemen’s military, reiterated Washington’s strong commitment to Hadi’s efforts to stabilize the country, and said the Yemeni leader is making “historical decisions during these critical times in modern day Yemen,” according to a statement released by the Yemeni Embassy in Washington.’

Pentagon sponsored terrorism will continually renew the possibility of blowback terrorism against us, the US people. It is hardly a strategy to promote our own ‘national security’ what our corporate dictatorship government is doing. In fact, it is the exact opposite of having any security.

US senator says bomb makers and their associates should be killed forthwith

Said Senator Dianne Feinstein to Fox News about an al-Qaeda suspect in Yemen: “I am hopeful that we will be able to, candidly, kill this bomb maker and kill some of these other associates. This, about a certain Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri about whom we have only intelligence hearsay to go on, based on an undetectable bomb, on which they say they detect his forensic signature, and about his friends, members they say of AL-QAEDA OF THE SAUDI PENINSULA or some such. What this means, for employees of GENERAL DYNAMICS or RAYTHEON OF SOUTHERN COLORADO for example, is that you don’t even have to possess a factory security ID to be suspected by Yemen, or our other Muslim adversaries, of making bombs that terrorize their innocents. Allah forbid they should commandeer armed drones, in preemptive self defense, to kill you and your now pants-pissing friends, candidly.

And let’s be realistic, the BOMB MAKERS OF AMERICA is an awfully big fraternity at this point.

Remember the Maine? Egyptians will.

Remember the Maine? In 1898 a popular uprising was threatening Spanish rule in Cuba. alright, it's actually the USS Baltimore, Flaccus Brothers Prepared Mustard The US Navy cruised to the rescue. The rescue of whom, we never got the chance to find out. An explosion aboard the USS Maine gave America the pretext to blame a Spanish torpedo. An America inflamed by a jingoist press declared war on Spain and promptly seized her colonies “to protect US interests,” by coincidence just as the indigenous populations were overcoming their colonizer and were about to win their freedom. Today a US attack fleet speeds toward Egypt. Washington asserts its mission is to evacuate US nationals if need be.

I’d like to imagine the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge will position itself off Egypt’s coast to facilitate the Egyptian government’s stable transition to Democracy.

Perhaps the fleet intends to augment the security which Hosni Mubarak is deliberately destabilizing in Egypt. Perhaps they will offer medical care for Egyptian protesters denied access to Cairo hospitals if their wounds incriminate the government. Perhaps sophisticated Navy electronics will provide an alternate internet backbone if Mubarak tries cut his people off the web. Perhaps the US Navy can help jam the state television station still broadcasting lies to the broader population. I’m hoping our navy can erect a gallows prominently on the bow, to threaten Mubarak, speaking in the only language the despicable dictator might understand, an urgency he doesn’t feel from the peaceful protesters of Tahrir Square.

Possible?

Is it more likely to be a false flag like the Maine? Remember the USS Liberty? That was a US intelligence ship attacked in 1967 by unmarked Israeli planes, hoping that Egypt would catch the blame? There was more to that story and anyway it didn’t work out.

Remember whatever boat it was attacked/not-attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin Incident? That worked.

“Showing the Flag” doesn’t have to be false flag. Remember the USS Cole? Worked in Yemen. Traditional foreign policy teaches that gunboat diplomacy asserts military dominance. Actually it runs a calculated risk. It draws out indignation and a show of defiance. Because a military wants to flush out resistance sooner than being taken by surprise.

Remember the enterprising Marines in Iraq who drove around with a megaphone insulting the Prophet Mohammad? They repeated Jesus Killed Mohammad until every last proud Muslim to renounce their blasphemy was baptized in an obliteration of firepower.

Remember the Maine? Americans remember the Maine like it remembers the Alamo or 9-11. We have no idea. We have no sense of deja vu about the US spreading its forces in defense of empire. I’m really hoping this is not the equivalent of the Soviets sending their tanks into Hungary in 1956.

But Americans have nothing on the educated Egyptians. Whatever America’s gunships have in mind, the Arab world has seen it. Jan25 organizers continue to defy media expectations about the movement losing steam. Attendance keep rising, yesterday pro-Mubarak citizens were proclaiming their changed allegiance. Today the labor unions are recognizing the imperative of launching a general strike, and protesters are venturing outside of the central demonstrations, threatening government buildings and facilities.

With every successive day of victories for the Democracy-seeking demonstrators of Tahrir Square, I have every confidence that the Egyptians will outwit this latest US envoy convoy.

CIA role in so-called Yemen bomb plot wafts odor of who smelt it dealt it

Everything I need to know about CIA Intelligence I learned in elementary school, 9/11, al-Qaeda. Who smelt it, dealt it. Student in Yemen –allegedly, even to herself– mails a package containing explosives, CIA forwards a tip-off. YOU, think of a number between 1 and 10. Even Ockham’s Razor would not predict the CIA can guess it. Do you suppose the New York Times headline got it right? “Bomb Plot Shows Key Role Played by Intelligence.”

Hubris, thy name is Gazette

Maybe it’s because the American-born Yemeni cleric Anwar al-Awlaki is in fact born American, but his statement that there should be Retaliatory killings of American Civilians fits so very well with the American killings of Afghan, Pakistani, VietNamese, Korean, … Mexican, Native American, Guatemalan, Chilean, Bolivian, Colombian, Grenadan, Salvadoran, Chinese, Iraqi, Honduran, Libyan, Venezuelan, Nicaraguan, just really any-old-an civilians whose governments happened to stand in the way of U.S. Corporate Interests. But what makes the Colorado Springs Gag-Zette stand out is their work-up for this weekend, with the celebration of Territory Days, where they’ll be celebrating the exploits of such Baby-killing anti-civilian warriors as Kit Carson, Chivington and General Palmer. What FUN that is!

The Gag-Zette hasn’t even made the slightest polite little squeak of protest over a couple of active Anti-Civilian Killing Sprees started and maintained through the use of outright outrageous LIES. No protest whatever about the Baby-killers of Blackwater Inc gunning down civilians in Baghdad, then lying and saying (and dutifully reported as Truth by the Lap-Dogs at the Gag-zette) that the civilians had fired on THEM. No weapons were retrieved from the bodies, especially of the kids. No spent shell casings that didn’t come from the rifles of the Blackwater Death Squad Goons. Then when one of them breaks honest, testifies, the Bush-Appointed “justice” Department so called prosecutor deliberately botched the case and the so-called Judge dismissed the case.

Protests from the Gagzette? None whatsoever. When the Gunsight Videos of U.S. Helicopters murdering Reuters Reporters were released, the only protest from the Gagzette was that “classified” information was CRIMINALLY leaked. Same with the CRIMINAL leaks of information about the Torture Centers.

And are now joined into the Howling Mob screaming “Terrorist! Traitor!” for somebody suggesting a little taste of “What-goes-around-coming-back-around”

Oh, and the Territory Daze dog-and-pony-show is going to feature Gunfighters. As in, Murdering Pukes who padded their undeserved reputation for “courage” with as many backshootings apiece, or more, as the face to face duels in the street popularized by Hollywood Mythmakers like Wyatt Earp.

Let’s all celebrate and rejoice for the Murderers! They should rename it “Terrorism Days”.

US govt spreads terror to Yemen

Yemen-fighting-bombingHundreds of thousands of new refugees and yet another country, Yemen, is now being destabilized by the US’s relentless drive to control the Middle East’s oil resources. Yemen is not oil rich but sits in a strategic locale between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and Iran and the Horn of Africa (Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Kenya). That makes it a key battle zone (like Lebanon and Syria to the West) in US efforts to destabilize and topple the current Iranian government in order to replace it with a servile puppet regime under US government control.

If you hear anything about this new outbreak of fighting, it will be described by the corporate media as being nothing but a battle between Yemen government forces allied with US ally, Saudi Arabia, and Northern Shia Houtha rebels allied with Iran. No hint beyond that of this civil war being part of anything much larger in size. No hint of US government involvement in the hostilities.

Hiding in the shadows though, is the US government and their traditional European allies, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, and so on. This is just one more front line in their neo-imperial expansionism, and thus Yemen joins Pakistan joins Lebanon joins Gaza.

The direct casualties of these imperialist wars by the US government and the Pentagon can be seen in this film, and make up, as usual, many very innocent civilians, including many small children. Barack Obama doesn’t care though. These children victims of US government war making live far away and are quite defenseless. Out of sight out of mind to the Big Shots in D.C.
